The "Anastasia" Books / The Kins Domains' Movement

Dear All

I am interested to know how many Avalonians of come across or read the "Anastasia" series of books by Russian Author, Vladimir Megre.

In my experience, many in the "alternative" community seem not to heard of these books which, similar to the "Zeitgeist" films, propose a way to re-order society for the better. Whilst Zeitgeist promotes Jacque Fresco's technology based Venus Project, The Anastasia books suggest a return to Mans' primal origins of harmony with nature.

I am revisiting these books after they have sat on my shelf for a couple of years. I would welcome fellow members comments and thoughts.

I read them all a few years ago.The ideas of Anastasia touched my heart so deeply.I realised somebody wrote what I was always feeling in my soul but did not find anybody that had the same feelings. Maybe this old knowledge is in Slavonic genes that's why I accepted Anastasia's knowledge and ideas without any hesitation.
I have always wanted to be close to nature, to have contact with the soil, to grow vegetables and flowers.I was born in the country but moved with my parents to the big city.Till my about 18th birthday I with my parents were growing vegetables on a small peace of my grandfather's land.Then we had to stop as my cousin inherited the land.Then we had a small piece of ground to grow vegetables and fruits-as it is popular in Poland and Russia-but now blocks of flats are being built there and we will have to leave as the hire from the city ends.The last possibility is my own piece of land which was bought to build a house.Unfortunately my husband died and I did nothing there.This year during the summer I plan to start growing some vegetables there instead of going somewhere for vacation.I feel bored with spending vacation in popular noisy places full of people.The only trouble is money-I don't have a job,two daughters and only some savings.But I need to make a fence as other people put garbage on my ground and even somebody poured liquid concrete on it which now it is hard like a stone-trouble to remove it.I need also some small maybe woodden house to rest and keep some spades,rakes etc.

In Poland there are some people who started living according to Anastasia's advices,they are trying to create communities but there are not many of them.This is the Polish portal od Anastasia:

I found out that there is the 10th part of the series titled "Anasta" what I didn't know.There are some excerpts on anastazja.org -I will read immediately!

I remember that Bill said somewhere that he plans to interview Wladimir Megre-I can't wait any longer...Bill also said that Anastsia is a myth.Hmmmmm....?

I found the series very inspiring. IMO, the only sustainable social model for humanity... all about being sovereign individuals. It is my hope, in the near future, to buy my domain of love and spend the rest of my days cultivating it.

I found myself wishing that Anastasia was real. If she isn't... don't tell me! lol I'm still getting over Santa Claus and Mrs. Doubtfire.

I too, in my heart, believe that the books outline a possible future of hope for all mankind. My ambition is to have my own "Kins Domain" as described in the books; I dearly wanted to achieve this whilst my children were young but now I have resigned myself to waiting until later in life.

My wife and I have been growing vegetables in our garden for some years and so feel we have at least made a start!

Yes, I too would love Bill to interview Vladimir Megre. As for whether Anastasia exists or not, as she says in the first book, "I exist for whom I exist". I can't put it any better than that!

Yes I have read all her books, I am pleased to know someone els has in the UK, I have been interested in setting up a community with her blue print in mind, the ? is how. The one good thing about the communist block is that all the people have been given a parcel of land each. Her key is how she has opened the hearts of many and her abilities second to none (I wonder what Charles, "master" would have to say about Anastarsia and the Vedra/Vedruss people?

Yes, I too have read them. Very heartwarming, inspiring and practical.
She might not be real, but the ideas sure resonate.

I was at a rainbow gathering in Portugal 2008. There was a young girl who had a lot of wisdom for her age. When I asked her about where she got it from she referred me to these books. I read the first one and bought the entire series. Amazing.

With civilisation going crazier everyday and corporate governments claiming more and more power, there is no use fighting them. The only thing to do really (imo), is to turn away from civilisation all-together. These books offer concrete and wonderful ways of making that a reality.
And with Avalon being aimed at forming communities, the combination seems perfect.

We might not have another choice before too long. Food shortages world wide have been forecast for this spring in official reports (search " Obama Orders Military To Prepare For Spring Food Riots").
According to some, the (increasing number of) 'natural' disasters taking place all over the world seem to follow a pattern aimed at limiting the food supply. Bees dying, birds dropping from the sky, fish washing up on shores, oil from the spill, nuclear exposure etc etc.

People actively pursuing sustainable ways of growing food all say the same thing. People engaged in this activity become healthier and happier and the land pretty much always seems to produce abundantly.

What am I waiting for?...

Mostly good reading, a bit concerned about Anastasia's matriarchy beliefs, we've already been down that road about 5,000 years ago.

The future must be balanced male/female, not matriarchy, not patriarchy.

All men are Gods / Kings, and all women are Goddesses / Queens of their own realities.

I too, have read the whole series, a friend of mine kindly lend the books to me.

Anastasia's view strongly resonates with me. I always felt very much drawn to nature and even though living in (sort of) rural England now, I would prefer to get even further away from our busy modern life and live in a community according to Anastasia's philosophy.

In comparison, the ideas of the Zeitgeist movement (Jacque Fresko) are also very inspiring but there is a lot of emphasis put on technology and I personally do prefer Anastasia's 'nature spirituality' approach.

Particularly fascinating I found her explanation how to 'personalize', for example vegetable plants, by impregnating the seeds with one's personal energy signature and growing them to serve one's individual health needs.

The fact that the first versions of this book reached sales of millions of copies just by word of mouth (self published and sold on Russia's streets to passers-by) shows that the idea resonates with many people. More and more feel this longing to find the way back to harmony with nature and with fellow beings - humans, animals and the plant kingdom.

Also there is a completely new and totally different approach to education in a particular 'school' in Russia. Truly a school of the new paradigm.

Have book 1 an 2 the rest are on my list to order. I found the first English published books last night .

I have been waiting until I could find the books that did not have the black fronts. It was mentioned to me that some editing had been done to them that made them different from the original set .

Would love to live in a natural enviroment like native people use to .

Not read just yet but soon... I was first introduced to the idea 'Kin Domain' and hence the books by the people who run this site http://www.loveforlife.com.au they seem very determined to go ahead with the concept on a fairly large scale once they have found enough like minded people willing to commit to the process.

If interested in a minimal amount of technology (12v/24v solar system driven) it might be beneficial to have a look at Aquaculture.

We are discussing raised beds an enclosing the front yard this year .

Apart from being afraid to eat fish in the future the list below keeps getting longer .

Fortunately for him moles are not a problem!! He's no rocket scientist but after 3 months of scouring the net for info an investment of about $1000 AUD the results are ~1kg of fish per week lots of ice lettuce herbs and the most delicious strawberries!! He is currently looking into a double skinned (clear plastic) hot house structure as he reckons one of the big secrets is keeping the water temperature within the right range. The double skin can have a fan circulate warm/cold air throughout the walls which maybe a cheap solution for you as well...

I think the Anastasia books are cool. I love the simplicity.

There is indeed a taste of rigid believe systems in the book. But that could also be a way to let the other information find it's way to people who like to live by rigid rules and laws. Some people just need to hold on to natural, spiritual or universal laws to experience the freedom inside themselves after they played that game.

In the end, that is why I didn't red them all. I think a space of free love, is one of the best books in the series. As it is about children, education and how we can create a safe space for kids to unfold their natural talents. They have all the answers, let them tell us how the universe works, instead of projecting our believes on them. This also applies for the spiritual or conspiracy believes we may have.

You have the books, and the movement it created. I don't resonate with the rules the movements all over the world created. You have to do stuff a certain way, otherwise you aren't spiritual or a person who loves nature or whatever... When love is really free, than you don't need rigid rules or laws, you honor what is there in the moment. But than.. I'm pretty allergic to rules and group dynamics. When we don't really change the base of the dynamics, every group that tries to create something new, will experience the same difficulties. Also when they intent to build a new earth. I usually don't listen to the words, but feel the systems behind it, and somehow people need to play the game for some time, until they realize that real freedom needs no old style rules in groups.

So I love the books, but don't resonate how the movement and kins worldwide translated the information in their communities.

I agree with you here, and I think Anastasia would, too. Remember how toward the end of the series she talked about how we all went to sleep, so we try to figure out what went wrong, and correct that mistake, I have been thinking about that for about 3 years now.

I am inclined to believe it was possibly because the social structure was set up for one vote per household, rather than per person. I think the way to correct this is to try the model used in the Sudbury Valley School since the 60's, every voice counts, one vote for each person.

There is an amazing quiet grass roots movement of people everywhere toward living as sovereigns, free, in harmony with each other, nature, life. If you train your eyes to look for it, you will begin to see it everywhere.

Okay, I've thought of this earlier today, the ancient global civilisation that Anastasia talks about in the Ringing Cedar Series is not matriarchal, as suggested by Timeless Dimensions.

It was based on something more like the Divine Couple. And the relationship of the people to Nature was/is very integrated.

The occupation I have on my profile is inspired by the books, among a few other spiritual/nature centered models.

One of the ideas proposed was the gardens of eden idea, whereby each family lived on a hectare. Many people have been inspired by this, and yes, 100's of ecovillages have evolved from this inspiration, as well as a political movement in Russia called Edinaya Rossiya (One Russia). When the Russians talk about the Motherland, it is less about a nationalistic pride and more about a relationship to the land as their Mother.

The Global Sovereignty movement has also been highly influenced by the ideas presented in this series of books.

To my knowledge I do not yet personally know anyone who has learned to live self-sufficiently, yet, on only a hectare of land. However, this is something I am trying to learn how to do. It will take time, we have much to remember.

I had the opportunity to go to one of the Ringing Cedars workshops presented by the English translation editor, Leonid Sharaskin. Here is an interview he presented in Santa Fe, very interesing, about the Anastasia material.

If Anastasia is real, and many believe she is, she lives in the Russian tiaga, the Siberian forest, and she sings in the forest every day. Her son Adam, Vladimir Megre is Adam's father, knew a type of mathematics that he called living mathematics, rather that static, or dead mathematics, at the age of five.

They read the forest like a book. Their relationship with Nature is much like with family, much to learn from these books, a very different world view.

And last but not least - I have recently came across movie THE SECRET - I admitt we were close to shutting it down after first few minutes, because it is very hm .. straightforward and Hollywood style :)) But basically it helped me to understand what ANASTASIA is talking about in all of her books! THE POWER of mans thoughts - words is extraordinary, we are Gods children created in his image - we are basically 'GODS' ourselves - each and every one of us, has the power to do whatever he desires with / in his life !

I think this message is one of the main things, why people were mislead for so many years, and I believe, that more and more are waking up every day / hour / moment, and I am happy for the "stupid":)) hollywood movie the SECRET, if it will help the people to claim their right to be happy, spent time with beloved ones, and just LIVE THE LIFE we were given here!

I am sure we - PEOPLE can change all the bad / wrong stuff that is going around in the world now, I believe in it - and the more people will focus on the good future / the bright image will be so strong that it will materialize sooner or later - just no sad / bad / conspiracy images - because it does not help anything - don't you think? :-)
