Given two choices, what would you choose to support:

1) Save endangered seals through research in Hawaii.

2) Help park rangers stop poaching in Indonesia.

Trevor Frost is an associate of Wade Davis, an Explorer in Residence at NG, and some may have viewed his documentaries:

This is an actual poll at this moment in time, for a one grant available, one project will be funded at National Geographic.

If you live in the U.S.A., you could actually participate in the poll, and influence the outcome.

As of March 27th, 53.2% have voted for research in Hawaii.

Which would you do?

Hawaii, always wanted to experience life there...plus I'm more of a researcher than an activist so that'd be my first choice...Good luck to whoever wins...although it would be nice if they didn't have to compete and could both get funded :)

Yes I agree. I am saddened that there has to be a choice. I went to the website and voted. I voted to stop the poaching because I felt that a direct and immediate effect could be made there in a shorter amount of time. Also, many humans are dying to protect these animals from poachers. 130 park rangers have been killed defending wildlife in Virgunga National park last 10yrs. I detest poachers.

So far, Hawaii has more votes supporting the endangered seals.

isn't there a 3rd choice?

isn't there a 3rd choice?

Actually TimelessDimensions, there are three more choices.

3). Just watch.

4). Ignore the issue.

5). Can't do anything, because you live somewhere other than the U.S. of A. :)
