Thanks Irish - I have been keeping up with this for my neck of the woods - but still many that I know think it is not that important, as they trust the Gov't and mainstream media.

Horizons,

I agree. To many people feel that it is not important, but ask them for a recent fact? They got nothing. Love and light, it will all be alright. Don't think so!

Sad really.

Yes it is! - Sad indeed!!
And you know what's really sad - I have this beautiful spring garden going and some of it is ready to harvest, and also a great start on my summer garden going, and after the massive thunderstorms we had last night I can't help but wonder how much radiation came down with the rain - it makes me sick to think about it. I have looked to buy a RMD but it seems everything is sold out these days. :(

It looks like what Albert Einstein said is coming to pass -- "The splitting of the atom changed everything, save man's mode of thinking; thus we drift towards unparalleled catastrophe."

I would like to see all who think there is no radiation, no partial meltdown, no blown spent fuel rod pools, to go and have a lil wander and see for yourself, sit a while and have a picnic, pick some grown foods and milk some cows within a 80km radius and have a feast...

afterwards, go have a splash around the sub-basements of the reactor rooms...

But if you did, I would do my best to stop you...and if you still did, then I would assume you were suffering from complete deluded denial.

no ill intention towards anyone...hugs to all

Ross

Why is there no chart at all as to where the radiation should be going that's in the water?

Were they not pumping seawater in and over the rods then back out again to prevent it from melting down when they had no power?

I am thinking i should just stay indoors whenever it rains, as between the radiation in the air and the water, which gets evaporated up and then down again when it rains - the whole world is kinda coverd by it.

http://vortex.accuweather.com/adc2004/pub/includes/columns/newsstory/2011/400x266_04041444_current.jpg

Any radioactive water escaping confinement will be subjected to the pull of ocean currents. Off northeastern Honshu, the foremost current is the southward-flowing Oyashio. This current normally drifts southward to nearly Choshi, on Cape Inubo. Choshi is located about 60 miles east of Tokyo.

Off Cape Inubo, flow of the Oyashio gets shunted eastward by the more powerful Kuroshio, a major current flowing eastward south of Japan, heading for the open Pacific Ocean.

Whatever the consequences stemming from the dumping of the radioactive water, they should be greatest near and immediately down-flow of the nuclear plant. The overwhelming volume of the ocean would increasingly dilute contaminated water with distance from the point of release, eventually lowering radiation levels to those not far from the natural background.

On Monday, it was reported that fish caught off Ibaraki Prefecture, south of the Fukushima site, had an abnormally high concentration of iodine-131.

there are so many wannabe news sites full of fear mongering that it is impossible to find truths at this point...

everyone is quoting everyone else without bothering to even look at original content

I'm off to the beach to work on my Glow... ;)

This whole thing is going to get into pretty much all of the food chain,so we are going to get screwed eating stuff that will be contaminated within some level of radiation ,so the bottom line is unless you have your own private garden thats closed indoors and you have your own water well being pumped from under the ground, chances are your going to get some sorta of radiation at some point later down the road, the most important thing imo is not to become paranoid about it and not let fear overcome you,the way i look at it i try to avoid certain foods now due to common sense things like seafood of any kind from any source i simply dont trust it anymore, but those of us who live in cities and buy groceries from local markets are pretty much at the mercy of the food chain at this point,i am not going to lose my sleep over it tho, life goes on till the day i am no longer allowed to live in flesh and bone heh.

Actually the air in the southern hemisphere is still pretty clean.

http://www.newscientist.com/article/...clean-air.html

The polluted air of the northern hemisphere and the clearer air of the southern hemisphere tend not to mix. A mobile cloudy belt known as the Intertropical Convergence Zone that runs around the globe roughly at the level of the equator is thought to form a meteorological barrier between the two.

Funny you should say that Sol Va - I have been fantisizing about moving to the Southern Hemisphere!

I've had the same fantasy - for a couple of years now. Maybe George Green was right after all  I hear the Bush family has a massive amount of land down in S. A. Do you think maybe they knew something?
