Something I noticed after doing my usual housekeeping my security preferences had mysteriously defaulted back to original settings, I hate leaving the door open these days, you never know who is liable to come in sniffing around.......

ATTENTION! While on FB, look at your URL address (the very top box on your screen.) If u see "http:" instead of "https:" then u DO NOT have a secure session & can be HACKED. Go to Account - Account Settings - Account Security - click Change. Check box (secure browsing), click Save. FB has automatically set it on the non-secure setting! Do your friends a huge favor, copy & re-post.

I deactivated my account on New Years Day, one of the best things I ever did lol. Good riddance to it.

Find the link that says you can 'Download all of your information'. It's quite unnerving.
I did it, and was sent everything I'd ever posted via Fb, whether previously deleted or not.

Something to consider!

Now you know how the powers that be do it, easy for them as they don't need to sign up.... But for the savy ones all digital data is a two way action, so as they have found it is a double edged sword they use. But they don't want us to know that of course......Mmmmm

Hi phillipbbg,

Thanks for that, but just as I read it, noticed at top of PA screen it has http and not https - excuse my lack of IT intelligence but what does that mean? Or does this just apply to facebook. I'm not on fb btw, deleted it some time ago...

Kind regards,:o
