Does any one have information on some companies that have taken the patents that were realeased a couple months ago and started working one them. Personally i think these would be great investments and would like some more info. So Avalon please share.

The program essentially opens the doors of U.S. national laboratories to entrepreneurs interested in moving federal research into the marketplace. From May 2 through December 15, startups may license a maximum of three patents, of the 15,000 patents held by national laboratories, for $1,000 each. Outside of this time frame, the patents would cost between $10,000 and $50,000 for entrepreneurs. Chu said the patents could range from energy efficiency software to solar power conversion techniques.
