when i was about ten i got angry at god...
why..
let me tell you.
as i stated in a earlier post my mother had agrophobia.
so severe she could not leave the bedroom.
now to a ten year old that means nothing.back then no one had heard of the word.
let alone mental illness.
the men in white coats are coming for you.that was the quoate of the day.

so as a ten year old ,i prayed.
i prayed that my mother would get up,
i prayed for my father to stop being abusive,
i prayed for other people.

and nothing happened.

so i spoke to jesus and asked of the same prayers.

no reply.

then i prayed to the angels.

nothing.
so at ten i remember ripping up the bible and telling god(not to be repeated)
i was angry and confused.

only to realise now that he has walked with me all these years as he does with everyone,he takes in the love,he takes in the heartache,when you feel something ,he shares it with you.

in the end you will cry with him and you will laugh with him looking back on your journey.

and when the end does come have faith.

Sorry that you had that happen Manny, but also not sorry.
You are where you are and who you are because of ever kiss and every knock you ever got.
As much as some of it hurts, it made you the mannynugget that you are.

wow, manny, that must have been a tough one to sort out...
raw frustration for a kid, I imagine...

my mum was a survivor of a Russian POW camp, had witnessed tortures,
and the exacution of another nurse, her best friend...
not to mention the downfall of Berlin just before being taken prisoner 3 days before the war ended...
by miracle she wasn't put on the goods train to Siberia...
lived to tell the tale and conceive me...

I wasn't happy to hear any of it...it all frightened me to death...
I escaped into the London fashion scene...

nowadays really admire Bianca Jagger for her work with Amnesty International...
she did that fashion and rock'n'roll U-turn in an even bigger way than I did
