View Full Version : Market Manipulations...

I have been keeping a close eye on the oil and gas market these last few weeks and see a recurring event...
right after the market "resets" at the end of day, like last night, a buy came in and bought 2 units at a few cents higher than close.
now the US alone burns 9 million barrels of gas each day, but it is getting manipulated by someone buying 2 barrels?
does anyone see the absolute madness in this system?
if you spot a fudge, lets list them here...
a company proud of manipulating the commodity industry just went public...
now banks and institutions don't need to be seen making moves, it is covered by buying into this firm...

what is the name of the company?

How many of us have been told prices are high because we don't have enough Petro and need to Drill baby Drill...
can someone explain why we export 2,000,000 barrels/day then?

sorry I thought everyone had already heard about this one...
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Glencore International will price its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange at 530 pence a share, The Wall Street Journal reported online Wednesday, citing an unidentified source close to the matter. The Swiss commodities trader is expected to price shares between 480 pence and 580 pence a share for its IPO debut on Thursday. The pricing would result in a $11 billion share sale that would value the company at about $62 billion. link... I couldn't agree more with you. This system is a stupidity. It rewards the already rich with over-proportion and sink the ones who need it the most. It could be much better with regulation, but the last 20 years was all about the annihilation of any kind of regulation :)
Take the Asian rice crisis, the Philippians government refused to release his stockpile to keep the price high! The people were needing it big time, it was bought with their money! That is manipulating the game Big time. The law of supply and demand is ruling only when it serves them, when it doesn't, they simply control the supply. But hey! They have the bones to say its a natural law!
