I feel the weight of the world on my shoulder
As I'm getting older y'all people get colder
Most of us only care about money makin
Selfishness got us followin the wrong direction
Wrong information always shown by the media
Negative images is the main criteria
Infecting their young minds faster than bacteria
Kids wanna act like what the see in the cinema
Whatever happened to the values of humanity
Whatever happened to the fairness and equality
Instead of spreading love, we're spreading anomosity
Lack of understanding, leading us away from unity
That's the reason why sometimes I'm feeling under

I gotta keep my faith alive, until love is found

A world of only goodness would be ideal,

But we are here to accumulate different experiences over numerous lifetimes, we could never grow spiritually in a "world of love" alone. And so the reason for the world being the way it is.

Up till now we have needed seeming opposites (duality) to give us choice.
Disaster brings out the best in us on many levels--- some risk their lives to save the lives of complete strangers.
We have opportunities to forgive those who have hurt us.
We have the chance to undo negative Karma.

If there is one culprit it is EGO.
Ego was necessary as a survival device to get us this far--- survival of the fittest.

Now I believe we are at time in the evolution of mankind where the ego can be transcended and we move on to the next step of human evolution.

Many have contributed on the "Enlightenment; Ego what is it how to transcend" thread in the spiritual section.

Feel free to browse the thread and contribute if you are incline to do so.

are we here to experience?
in that we may live many lifetimes?
so if your where poor in a past lifetime ,you may experience being rich in this one.
if you where cruel in one,then in this one you may have to experience the cruelty you gave in the last.
or you came here so that someone else may learn from you.
so we experience on many different levels,over many lifetimes.


why do this,to learn and experience.

to experience everything we will develop the self.this could take many lifetimes.
then we return to source.
unload our experiences,question them,learn by them.evaluate your current life.
and what we have not learned or experienced,then maybe we choose to come back again.

you are the love.it,s inside of everyone.sometimes it just takes a little longer for some people to get there.
but everyone will get there in the end.

The LOVE of the Creator is always available but we have free will so it is up to us to ask.
Some people have to hit Rock Boom before they have enough humility to ask for love.

So true. Just to elaborate a bit further:
It actually is our love FOR the Creator that activates the Creator's love for us.
It's not the only condition, because in some cases there is also what some religions call grace, or mercy
Like in a lot of things, attitude is everything.
The love of money is what activates money. People who are rich love money in a consitant way, without feeling ashamed about it.
People who have a conscience usually have reservations about loving money, so they often go through dry spells.
But the money lovers don't get the spiritual guidance that people who love the Creator get...their tests are different, more to do with illness and the fear of death.
The love of the Creator brings a miraculous response beyond our imagination and also brings confirmations of eternity. Since eternity can't be expressed in words or transmitted by humans the other group remains in disbelief.
Until they are suddenly in one of those mystical moments where they can see it directly.
Even then many think it was the booze that did it, or whatever other physical stimulant was around at the time,
But many also do wake up.
They are the vulnerable ones, at least for the period of their spiritual babyhood.
