Listen to our companions, They offer us more then we realise..

Cats Strengthen Bones

Osteoporosis and broken bones is a rare occurrence in the feline family. It is now belived that a cats purr, vibrates at 25hz t0 50 hz (cycles per second) and this improves bone density and speeds the healing of tissues. Cats even purr when they are seriously hurt or ill.

Dogs Switch Off Stress

Heart rate slows down, blood pressure lowers...our four legged friends offer us a great way to "de stress" . It seems that the sound of their "panting" has an effect on us. A "play panting" will get us to get up and play, where as a "exertion pant" tells us to relax. This also helps to relax other dogs around them.

Dolphins Cure Disease

Dolphins emit frequencies from 20hz to 20,000 hz. Their sounds have shown to trigger physiological changes in tissue and blood chemistry that allow the body to heal. Some experts believe the dolphins will use their sonar to locate tumours or medical issues in the people that are swimming with , and then target those areas with the correct healing frequencies.

Birds Boost Problem Solving

Birds song seems to have a relaxing effect on everyone...but the speed at which a bird chirps (5hz to 7hz) is the same theta brainwave frequency linked to enhance focus and problem solving.

Frogs Boost Creativity

The sound emitted by the tree frog match the frequency of the theta brainwaves associated with creativity. Because they are at the lower end of the theta spectrum (3hz to 7hz) They are helpful for accessing the deepest level of our subconsciousness. Which allows us to connect with our creative side.

Whales Help You Sleep More Soundly

http://www.teachers.ash.org.au/kasmith/what/puzzle/images/30a.jpg

Whales communicate over thousands of miles and produces amongst the lowest frequencies of all living creatures. Research shows our brain rhythms tend to slow to match these low frequencies while listening to whale song and it helps us to reach the deepest most restorative (delta) stages of sleep.

To all our animal friends , Thank you for your song!!

Celine thank you for this thread, I am a lover of nature and natural sounds. Taking the time to enjoy and interact with nature is very important for our health in all levels. There's also a very real and subtle language that we can learn from our interaction with nature.
Once again thank you Celine.

Many blessings to you and yours...

Thank you for this thread Celine. One of the reasons I feed birds all year long is to hear their morning and evening songs. It does not matter what I might be doing at that moment, it will be dropped so that I can indulge myself with the most beautiful sounds around.

(I tell myself that they are singing for me, and when the sun sets, the curtain drops, and most times there are tears in my eyes, but my heart feels as though it could fly!) :thumb:

It does not get any better then this, does it!

in love & light
