A Southwestern US Avalonian Meetup

Hi all.

Heather2012 and I are hoping to plan a meetup for Avalonians in Flagstaff later this summer. This thread is to discuss when that should take place and how many are interested in coming.

Our hope is that Bill, Inelia, Kerry or all 3 can come as well. (mods, how can I best speak with them about this? and can this thread be stickied?)

So let's talk about when would be a good time for a weekend of fun, frivolity, conspiracy and spirituality!

Flagstaff, Az (elevation nearly 7000 ft.) is an excellent place to meet-up. When i first came out West, i seriously thought about locating there. i spent a week there last summer (end of June 2010), the weather is great (days in low 80's and nights in upper 40's ) There is lots to do there ~ the Lowell observatory is located there and the old town section has lots of restaurants and entertainment as well. Note, there are also lots of nice affordable motel accommodations !

Depends on the date, I live within a very doable drive, but will be east coast until the end of August. Make it after that and I'm in!

I would love to,,,but I work wierd hours and can't really afford to take a day off right now.
I work weekends,,,and I'm sure that you guys will be meeting on the weekend,,,,,,I would suck it up and drive out anyway,,2 hour drive,,,,but I work 12 hour shifts,,so my turn around is just too quick.

How about arranging the southwest summer meetup around this Sedona event? Those who don't attend the Bill & Inelia workshop can still come to Sedona and spend time with other Avalonians.

I think it's a GREAT idea, but something "special" would have to happen for me to be able to come as I am about 800 miles from there, don't own a car or enough funds to get there. (Would love to see something like this happen in Austin, Texas!) A lot of people think of Texas as "all redneck," but Austin is not like that at all. Some say there is some kind of a spiritual vortex here, and I tend to believe this is true. It is the one place I have found where I can "be myself" and feel at home...!

It would be WONDERFUL if any meetups like this would be videotaped and made available on this website for the rest of us to view who are unable to attend!!!

Not to worry. A lot of people showed up for the UFO conference meetup and the Sacramento and Villacamba workshops. There'll be plenty of us in Sedona next month.
