Remember when, a number of years ago, the public was outraged by the the seizures of property by the IRS? How they would come into your home, unannounced, and search your property at random?

Texas senate vote on TSA scheduled for tomorrow.

That should be interesting to follow (assuming it passes and it has the votes).

How the fed would react could draw a line in the sand and prompt action in other states.

However, in reality the Fourth Amendment protection against search and seizure in one's home without a warrant was eviscerated by the Patriot Act. Thank you Dubya and his auto-pen successor empty-suit in the Whine House.

BTW, I heard that the TX State Legislature weenied out. Not enough of them present for a quorum.

Texas vote was derailed by submersive means last time ... but not to be denied they have brought it back. Vote is tomorrow.
