Perhaps this is Common Purpose at work again. Bit by bit like a python they strangle us, and know exactly the consequences of they actions. Every day one hears interviews on the radio revealing subtle changes being made, which lay plans for our future. They hope we do not notice! The problem is people don’t notice or forget. This article is just about charging for parking on Sundays and evenings at churches. Slowly they make life more difficult for people. This might not seem much, but their tenecles are far reaching.

Churches oppose Westminster Sunday parking fee plan, BBC report.

Churchgoers have protested over plans to introduce parking charges they claim will hit central London congregations. Conservative-run Westminster Council is proposing to charge motorists to park on Sundays and weekday evenings.

Church members say this will affect thousands of people who attend services and run community activities.

The council said it recognised the church's role in the community but it also had to provide a "reasonable expectation" of finding a parking spot.

Church members gathered outside a Westminster City Council meeting on Wednesday night in protest at the proposals.

Traffic demands. Currently, with the exception of some areas under 24-hour resident parking controls, parking charges in central London end at 1830 on a Saturday until Monday morning. The council said its proposed parking policy addressed a number of complex issues, including managing the traffic demands of the West End, the availability of resident and visitor parking and improving loading and waiting facilities.
Councillor Lee Rowley said the authority had a "duty to everyone who lives, works or visits the heart of the capital to ensure they have a reasonable expectation of finding a place to park".

He said research showed it was now more difficult to park in some parts of the West End on a Sunday and weekday evenings than on weekdays.
But members of the church said many families and older people would not be able to afford to go to church if the charges were approved.

They claimed dozens of community projects, including support for the homeless, activities for elderly people, subsidised meals for the local community and activities for children and young people, would be affected.

Father William Pearsall, from Farm Street Catholic church, Mayfair, said: "Our volunteer community activities are really valuable and would present a huge loss to the local community if these plans affect our volunteers."

Michael Beckett, Church Warden of St George's in Hanover Square, said: "Sunday parking charges will seriously damage the spiritual heart of the city, and limit the good works undertaken by all the central London churches".

Churchgoer Stacey Hughes said: "Hundreds of volunteers and congregation members would be restricted from providing vital support to the community."
The results of a consultation on the proposal are being analysed and the council is due to make a decision in August.

I've never seen any evidence to back up the allegations against common purpose, (only Brian Gerrishes' stuff) so am still on the fence about it.

Do you know if the councillor Mr. Rowley has ever attended a CP course?

Even if it has nothing to do with CP you would think the council can make provisions for such community projects. :(

They are already everywhere centralized, police, schools and councils, they have infiltrated into all aspects of governing and controlling factors of UK society, they are funded by the EU as a taker-over for total control fascist state.

They have debts they can't pay off, so they need to find more sheep to provide wool.

Commons Purpose is rampant in all aspects of control, just as ROMANWK stated, and all who undertake the program change.

In West London we are tagging onto an organisation which already challenges councils and their parking controls, so that we can challenge our council and its proposals.

I have direct experience with how this effects a public service organisation and the damage that is done, slowly and stealthily is deadly. The good ol fashioned services in the uk are drowning in paperwork, tied up with health and safety nonsense and diversity training BS. All put in place by people who are common purpose brainwashed. You can normally tell if someone is under the spell of this nonsense by the ridiculous buzz words they use.

The bastards are at it in Camden too, stopping the Hare Krishna people in the kings x area from dishing out free food by handing out parking tickets all the time which the Hare Krishnas cant afford to pay,all in the name of traffic calming or some such bull****.Im aghast at the mass stupidity , these nutters are fundamentally flawed at the most primal level.
