You are correct ... county sheriff is the only law enforcement official to have jurisdiction over the feds.

No, he isn't the only one, it depends on what jurisdiction you are working on.
But yes, it was me talking about country sheriffs.
And this guy from Utah, Tony DeMeo is another good one.
I had heard about him a while ago, maybe even on here, I am not sure.
His deputies messed with the agriculture dept, I think it was.
Threatened to take them at gunpoint if they didn't have warrants to do what they were doing.
THAT is my sort of sheriff.
And remember, any of you guys or girls can stand for election as sheriff.

I'll invoke Meatloaf her Rob, "You took the words right out of my mouth". Thanks for the video daledo. By the way, I'd proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with that guy. If that's considered treason these days, then so be it. Enough is enough.

Cheers,
Fred

The states jurisdiction and the feds don't necessarily overlap in criminal areas.
There are areas of strict state and strict federal jurisdiction and the state can tell the feds to but out if they are in a state matter, even if they invite them in.
