View Full Version : Birds falling from the Sky

I have seen this reported before over the years but not in the UK. I came across this article in last weeks print version of the daily mail.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1256840/Mystery-scores-starlings-fall-sky-lay-dying--single-garden.html

This happened last week in Coxley, Somerset. Most seemed to fall in one lady's front garden.

Does anyone have a better explanation than those given in the article? To be honest, I can't belive the RSPCA's report that they think a Sparrow Hawk chased them into the ground. Maybe one might misjudge how high they were but not that many...

47

Other reports of this phenomenon claim aircraft impact as a possibility, which we all know does happen, but they would be spread much wider if they were hit at altitude and no witnesses on this report claim to have heard aircraft around.

Really weird...

I posted this same story on Avalon 1 a week ago under the title: "Birds Dropping From The Sky". If you're on that forum then you'll be able to see the replies. It's in the What's Going Down/News And Updates section.

The poor starlings had physical injuries...crushed beaks and broken wings...I noticed in the OP link to the Daily Mail article that the garden where they were found seems to be solid, covered in pebbles.
So something could have 'brought them down' ...and then they crashed onto the hard surface and were injured..? Perhaps radar? Or something else...brought them down.

I've often wondered if HAARP has anything to do with this. Besides hearing the reports of birds falling from the skies I've also noticed myself changes in the formations of birds, they seem confused. I pay attention to the animals and insects because they are the first to be affected by changes.

Have noticed birds acting a bit funny over here too.

Even tho just Pidgeons, the flock was flying around in circles. Was just driving down a street, noticed them pass over, stopped @ traffic lights, saw them pass over again, then once more before we took off. It was strange.

Havent heard of them dropping from the sky, but aparently we've had fish falling from the sky instead?

Yeah...I've heard about fish falling from the sky. Something like this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1254812/Hundreds-fish-fall-sky-remote-Australian-town-Lajamanu.html

I've always heard it was because tornadoes or waterspouts sucked them up and they eventually got dumped far far away from where they were originally.

I found this on birds falling from the sky (along with other curious things):

http://www.prairieghosts.com/falls_sky.html

During the early morning hours of a day in November 1896, a deluge of dead birds fell from a clear sky above Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They fell in such numbers that contemporary accounts say that they “cluttered the streets of the city”. The birds included wild ducks, catbirds, woodpeckers and many birds of strange plumage, some of them “resembling canaries”. The birds were all dead and fell in heaps throughout the city. The only plausible theory advanced as to the source of the birds was that they had been driven inland by a recent storm along the Florida coast and had been killed by a sudden change in temperature around Baton Rouge. The editors of the Monthly Weather Review stated that storms and temperature changes were common, but bird falls were most assuredly not.

This (above) is a fascinating article, by the way.

Could it be suicide?

Not as daft as it sounds. Some birds when frightened switch off...dead. My Farther in law once related a story of his Avery. He bread canaries. All his birds were out in the netted fly area from the nests. Next doors cat jumped from the garden wall onto the roof of the wire netted area. Just about a 3rd of the canaries dropped dead. Fright or switched off...deaded mate.

So perhaps a large hawk caught some of the birds in the article by surprised and triggered the switch off.

I also have an aviary and rescue injured and neglected birds. On numerous occasions I have experienced birds just up and dying, like you said, just "switching off".
Many of the birds will be perfectly healthy, with the exception of a broken wing or similar injury that impairs the ability to fly. They just seemed unhappy to be in captivity, and would usually die quite suddenly and quietly, with no sign of pain or suffering, sometimes still perched on a branch or sitting on the floor. It almost seems as though they have the ability to withdraw themselves from their bodies without death causing trauma.

This may be completely off, but when I was about 5 I was standing on my front porch looking across the street at a bunch of birds sitting on a telephone wire and suddenly, one by one, then all fell from the wire straight to the ground, like synchronized swimmers.

It was bizarre and I've never heard of anything like it until this thread. How weird.

My initial feeling is maybe they suddenly fell because of something related to the bermuda triangle. Maybe it was something to do with a particuar energy or 'wave' that was in that part of the world at that particualr moment.

Just a thought

Apparently because of some earth quakes around the world the axis has shifted slightly that could put the magnetic north out of wack. Add to that the towers from everything to do with mobile phones, cable, Haarp, microwaves etc, etc no wonder the poor little things have lost their sense of direction.

All down to us.

A few years ago there were birds falling from the sky near a town in Turkey, bordering Iran. They blamed it on the fake Bird Flu disease:
http://www.birdflumonitor.com/thousands_of_birds_fall_dead_from_sky-archive.html
What they didn't report was that just across the border in Iran, there was a city that had issued severe air pollution warnings and had evacuated parts of the city. Seems more likely that those birds had been poisoned by the pollution.

Ahh, this brings something to mind that ive been noticing in the insect world lately. Insects walking around and around in circles. One earwig i seen was walking around in a circle when I came outside in the morning, quite a humerous sight really. But what was weird was when I came back home that evening, some 8 hours later, he was still in the same position going around in a circle! Ive noticed it in midges as well that come into the house. Also other small flying insects, just going around and around in a circle but apparently healthy aside from that.

Arkansas Game and Fish Press Release:

BEEBE, Ark.-- Saturday night, ringing in the New Year took on a whole different meaning for the citizens of Beebe. Around 11:30 p.m., enforcement officers with Arkansas Game and Fish Commission began getting reports of dead black birds falling from the sky in the city limits of Beebe.

Officers estimated that over 1,000 birds had fallen out of the sky over the city before midnight. Most of the birds were dead, but some were still alive when officers arrived. The blackbirds fell over a one-mile area in the city. AGFC wildlife officer Robby King responded to the reports and found hundreds of birds. "Shortly after I arrived there were still birds falling from the sky," King said. King collected about 65 dead birds that will be sent to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission lab and the National Wildlife Health Center lab in Madison, Wis.

New Years Omen?Thousands Of black birds,Fish Dead

Look at the following web service for yourself folks. Something is killing mass amounts of birds and fish worldwide. This is by no means a rare event for the past year. Something is happening. In the military Parakeets are used as early warning system to detect chemical attacks.
The following copy and pasted from RSOE Emergency and Disaster Information Service
Budapest, Hungary
hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index2.php
About 1,000 black birds fell from the sky over Beebe on Friday night, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said in a news release Saturday. Around 11:30 p.m., the commission began receiving phone calls about the birds, most of which were dead and fell over a 1-mile span, the release said. Wildlife officer Robby King collected about 65 dead birds that will be sent to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission lab and the National Wildlife Health Center lab in Madison, Wis. Officers flew over the area and determined no birds had fallen outside that part of the city, the release said. Commission ornithologist Karen Rowe said in the release that the flock could have been hit by lightning or high-altitude hail.

http://foodfreedom.wordpress.com/2011/01/02/massive-fish-kill-and-1000s-of-birds-fall-from-the-sky-in-arkansas/

On Thursday, Dec. 30, the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission reported a massive fish kill in Roseville, along the Arkansas River in a one-mile stretch. But only a single species is involved: drum fish. The next day, AGFC received reports that about two thousand black birds fell from the sky 125 miles east in Beebe. Again, only a single species is involved and only in a one-square mile area.

Hmm... natural or man made???
With the fish kill, maybe Gulf poisoning related, but odd that is was just a single species, maybe they were testing a new GM fish- we know they are doing this already with salmon.

The Bird kill... possibly, a flock migrating, got caught in a chemtrail??

Birds are very sensitive to chemicals, and pollutants, i learnt this fact when i had a sick duck and took it to my vet. In fact animals in general are a good indicator of earth changes, some dogs know well in advance that a storm is coming, and remember prior to the big tsunami, how all the animals ran for the hills, well in advance...

So im thinking it might be interesting to watch the behaviour of animals a bit more closely for clues, as to what is on the horizon, especially the natural phenomena.

not as strong as you think, im not gonna lie and claim to be a microwave expert, but im an electrician, and to work on the foof of a few bigger buildings in my state capitol i had to wait about a half hour for them to power down there broadcasting equipment to go up the final staircase, i think a microwave ovens so effective becuase the microwaves bounce around and repeatedly go through the food, its possible to do the same if you were in a long lasting beam of microwaves

Located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the Pine Bluff Arsenal is one of only six army bases that store chemical weapons. The army base was opened in 1941 for the manufacture of bombs and incendiary grenades. It was originally called the Chemical Warfare Arsenal, but that name only lasted four months. Starting in World War 2, more time was spent on manufacture of chemical weapons. Later, from 1953 to 1969, Pine Bluff Arsenal created several strains of biological weapons, including Agent Orange. President Nixon listened to public outcry abotu chemical weapons and signed a treaty. By 1973, chemical agents that had been produced were destroyed.

Located on approximately 13,493 acres, not all of the land is currently developed. The army base's current mission is describes as, "It produces, stores and demilitarizes conventional ammunition; serves as the Group Technology Center for illuminating and infrared munitions; serves as the Specified Mission Facility for smoke munitions and maintains the sole U. S. capability for white phosphorus fill. While this is quite a task, the soldiers and civilians stationed at Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) over the years have done their best to keep the public safe while fulfilling their mission.

the population of mother earth is being reduced one way or another, not just humans but also animals. many animals are leaving of their own accord but even those who were forced to leave are now in a better place, at the very least. the things that are going on are all interconnected and one need not be a prophet to predict that a lot more will pass away before things get better.

what is really sad is that humans are ultimately responsible for all those deaths. that's why i'd very much welcome a quick wholesale reduction of the population through natural means such as various disasters (not man made like food poisoning, chemtrails etc.) but so far mother earth has been much too lenient and it looks like humanity is permitted to come really close to killing the entire planet before something more drastic happens. let's hope 2012 is not an arbitrary date in that regard.

When I was a soldier I repaired missile radar equipment. Some of the guys would point the Continuous Wave Radar at a bird on a wire or in a tree. Within a short period of time the bird would fall dead, microwaved to death. So, the energy was sustained for some period. For a bird to simply fly through some kind of energy and die, the energy would have to be very powerful.

On leaving my house my little nephew said "what's that" and pointed to the sky, i looked up and there was this ENORMOUS silvery grey cloud of birds in the sky, all flying in formation (bearing in mind its pitch black evening here in the UK) I know many will think what's up with that, but in my entire life i have never seen hundreds of birds flying at night, A family member commented maybe lots of Racing Pigeons have been released? But hundreds? and they didn't look like Pigeons.

Note the very last part - the 'Ward Two Alderwoman' saying "move along folks, nothing to see," and the sarcasm from a resident who's smart enough to have doubts....

(last part of article)

Ward Two Alderwoman Becky Short drove through the neighborhood, telling people about the cleaning crew and advising them not to touch the dead birds.

"No. I'm not worried about it," Short said when asked about the mystery surrounding the birds' death. "We just hired these people so we can get this mess cleaned up."

With police in the streets, authorities on the corners, and helicopters in the air, Moore says it's hard to believe that everything is okay.

"Very comforting," [resident Charles] Moore said. "We got Game and Fish, helicopters, state police- but there's no problem Mr. Moore. And that helicopter continues to circle."

UPDATE: A state veterinarian tells NBC that preliminary necropsy results show that the birds died of "multiple blunt trauma to their vital organs."

MorningSong

From WIKI...

Blunt Trauma:

In medical terminology, blunt trauma, blunt injury, non-penetrating trauma or blunt force trauma refers to a type of physical trauma caused to a body part, either by impact, injury or physical attack; the latter usually being referred to as blunt force trauma. The term itself is used to refer to the precursory trauma, from which there is further development of more specific types of trauma, such as concussions, abrasions, lacerations, and/or bone fracturing. Blunt trauma is contrasted with penetrating trauma, in which an object such as a bullet enters the body.

Abdominal Trauma (BAT)

Blunt abdominal trauma is often referred to as the most common type of trauma, representing around 50 to 75 percent of blunt trauma. The majority of BAT is often attributed to car-to-car collisions, in which rapid deceleration often propels the driver forwards into the steering wheel or dashboard, causing contusions in less serious cases or rupturing of internal organs due to briefly increased intraluminal pressure in more serious cases where speed or forward force is greater. A growing trend reflects inexperienced BMX enthusiasts attempting turbo-level tricks such as 360 degree handlebar rotations. An incomplete handlebar rotation (such as one that is 270 degrees, and not a full rotation) may result in BAT, most commonly to the splenic flexure of the large intestine.

Abdominal trauma caused by deceleration and impact shows a similar effect to trauma to any other part of the body; namely the rupturing or damage of free and relatively fixed objects, a classic example of such an injury would be a hepatic tear along the ligamentum teres followed with injuries to the renal arteries.

As with most trauma, blunt abdominal trauma is often the cause of further injury, depending upon the severity of the accident. In the majority of cases, the liver and spleen (see Blunt splenic trauma) are most severely affected, followed by damage to the small intestine. Recent studies utilizing CT scanning have suggested that hepatic and other concomitant injuries may develop from blunt abdominal trauma.

In rare cases, BAT has been attributed to several medical techniques such as the Heimlich Maneuver, attempts at cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and manual thrusts to clear an airway. Although these are rare causes of blunt abdominal trauma, it is often thought that they are caused by applying unnecessary pressure when administering such techniques.

Among equestrians with BAT, common causes include kicks from the horse and the horse falling on top of its rider.

My first thought was this....

Could these events with the birds and the fish have anything to do with the swarm of EQs recently in Arkansas???

The following from www.urbansurvival.com which is George Ure's site.

Saturday there was a 7.0 Quake down in the Argentina hinterlands, then on Sunday we had a 7.1 down in Araucania, Chile.

If you're a Peoplenomics.com subscriber, I will be posting an important map for you to look at later on today (a note will be posted on the UrbanSurvival site when it's available) but it screams of another "coincidence" like the one we were talking about on Sunday which has become a real "in your face" kind of thing.

Instead of that, you need to be thinking about the "coincidental quake" that just popped off this morning in Utah as a 4.5:

If you're not a subscriber but you do want to 'catch up' a bit, take the 7.0 earthquake in Argentina, draw a great circle line through Arkansas where the killer tornados were over the weekend and where there was a bird kill reported Friday night as well as a fish kill 20-miles long.....and then proceed north to the what US State is north of British Columbia. (Alaska - where HAARP is located)
---
Why the bird kill should come before midnight New Years is an absurd explanation, and a 20-mile long fish kill all at the midpoint between something up north (think stringed instrument here) and the 7.0 Argentinean quake...well coincidence, right?
---
Next, I want you to draw a line (again, Great Circle) from the 7.1 quake yesterday through the Utah quake this morning and again, go north till you hit America's biggest state.

Then ask yourself: What's up? More pieces for subscribers shortly.

Falling birds likely died from massive trauma

By the CNN Wire Staff
January 3, 2011 -- Updated 2147 GMT (0547 HKT)

(CNN) -- The thousands of birds that fell from the sky just before midnight New Year's Eve in Arkansas likely died from massive trauma, according to a preliminary report released Monday.

The birds -- most of which were dead when they were found -- were red-winged blackbirds and starlings, and they were found within a one-mile area of Beebe, about 40 miles northeast of Little Rock, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said.

Keith Stephens, a spokesman for the commission, said the birds showed evidence of trauma in the breast tissue, blood clots in the body cavity and a lot of internal bleeding.

He cited a preliminary report conducted by the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission.

As of Saturday, between 4,000 and 5,000 birds had been found dead, said Stephens.

Karen Rowe, an ornithologist for the game and fish commission, said the incident is not that unusual and is often caused by a lightning strike or high-altitude hail.

A strong storm system moved through the state earlier in the day Friday. Officials also speculated that fireworks shot by New Year's revelers in the area might have caused severe stress in the birds.

"The birds obviously hit something very hard and had hemorrhages," said Rowe.

"Initial examinations of a few of the dead birds showed trauma. Whether or not this trauma was from the force of hitting the ground when they fell or from something that contacted them in the air, we don't know," she said.

Birds , Fish, brazil, japan, arkansas, kentucky, lousiana, chesapeake bay, strange things going on. all in the last 2 days, more stuff on urban survival site and reports currently coming. You know come to think of it my dog/lab was acting strange last night, went out the door and stopped, wouldn't go any further and just kept looking at me. You could say chemtrails , microwaves, quakes, ect. If the birds aren't eating, don't buy that what about the fish, the article in brazil said 100 tons of fish are dead and washed up on shore ?? Magnetics, really can't find the common denominator to any logical approach. So lets step up the ideas Team Avalon, we have some brilliant minds on board here , and keep the reports coming in, somethings definately up???

Quake/Birds, and Fish

A lab seeks clues after 3,000 birds die in Arkansas...and more than 100,000 fish died off in the same period about 150-miles distant if I read the maps right...chesapeke bay

Curiouser and curiouser...so we'll step away from this rabbit hole for a day or two. Except maybe to mention this happened up the road in Kentucky as well, maybe...

Oh, OK, in Japan, too, then...

Someone up in space have a monster appetite for black bird pies?

OK, and the fish kill in Parana...(takes a sec to translate) which has the attention of Brazilian authorities.

Mysterious killing of fish in coastal

A survey conducted by the Federation of Fishermen's Colony of Paraná, Paranaguá on the coast of the state, indicates that at least 100 tons of fish (sardine, croaker and catfish) have turned up dead since last Thursday off the coast of Parana.

No domingo, técnicos do Instituto Ambiental do Paraná (IAP), da Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos (Sema), colheram amostras para verificar a razăo das mortes. On Sunday, representatives from the Environmental Institute of Paraná (IAP), the Secretary of State for the Environment and Water Resources (SEMA), took samples to verify the reason for the deaths. O relatório será divulgado hoje. The report will be released today.

O presidente da Federaçăo das Colônias de Pescadores do Paraná, Edmir Manoel Ferreira, conta que, entre Paranaguá e Guaraqueçaba, pelo menos 2,8 mil pescadores dependem diariamente dos frutos do mar. The president of the Federation of Fishermen's Colony of Parana, Edmir Manoel Ferreira, reports that between Paranaguá and Guaraqueçaba at least 2,800 fishermen depend on the daily seafood.

“Na quinta-feira começamos a perceber muito peixe morto. "On Thursday we began to realize very dead fish. Só uma comunidade chegou a enterrar 15 toneladas. Only one community came to bury 15 tons. Estamos vivenciando uma situaçăo muito triste no litoral”, relata. We are experiencing a very sad situation on the coast, "reports.

Além de Paranaguá, Ferreira afirma que os peixes mortos estăo começando a aparecer em outras cidades do litoral. Apart from Paranagua, Ferreira said the dead fish are starting to appear in other coastal towns. “O peixe morto está indo para Antonina, Guaraqueçaba e Pontal do Paraná. "The dead fish are going to Antonina, and Guaraqueçaba Pontal do Paraná. Precisamos de uma soluçăo urgente para isso”, alerta. We need an urgent solution to this, "he warns.

O capităo Edson Oliveira Ávila, coordenador regional da Defesa Civil do Paraná na regiăo, acredita que existem tręs hipóteses para a morte dos peixes. Captain Edson Oliveira Avila, regional coordinator of Civil Defense in the Paraná region, believes there are three hypotheses for the death of fish. “Vamos aguardar para saber o que aconteceu, mas as especulaçőes apontam que os peixes podem ter morrido devido um desequilíbrio ambiental, descarte de um barco de pesca ou vazamento de produtos químicos”, diz. "We will wait to see what happened, but speculations suggest that fish may have died due to an environmental imbalance, dropping a fishing boat or leakage of chemicals," he says.

Por meio de sua assessoria de imprensa, a prefeitura de Paranaguá informou que a venda de frutos do mar está, por precauçăo, temporariamente suspensa na regiăo. Through his press office, the city of Paranagua said the sale of seafood is a precaution, temporarily suspended in the region.

UK. Dead fish discovered in canal marina near Abergavenny

Environment Agency Wales can confirm that what could be hundreds of dead fish, mostly bream, carp and roach, have been found in the marina on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal at Goytre Wharf near Abergavenny earlier today.

A 30cm drop in the water level at the marina by work upstream could be a contributory factor, but more than likely the cold weather, ice and lack of oxygen are to blame.

Initial investigations reveal there is no pollution detectable but no conclusion has been drawn as officers continue their work.

Smaller fish have, however, been found alive in the marina.

Officers are advising people that no attempts should be made to remove or go near to any fish at this stage.

Victoria river mysteriously turns bright green

VICTORIA — Horrified nature-lovers at Goldstream Provincial Park watched as the Goldstream River turned bright green late Wednesday afternoon.

The fluorescent green colouring appeared to start about 500 metres on the Victoria side of the entrance to the park and, over the course of an hour, the substance flowed down into the environmentally sensitive estuary.

By 5:30 p.m. the river, known for its dramatic salmon runs, eagles and other wildlife, was back to its normal colour.

A truly bizarre situation took place in Arkansas over the holiday weekend. Thousands of black birds died and fell out of the sky while in flight. Some resources are suggesting that lightning or a hail storm could possibly eliminate thousands of birds at once. Others claim that the recent New Years Day fireworks celebrations could have caused the birds to plummet to their deaths. Black birds are known for their very poor vision.

US Govt behind killing black birds, falling dead birds from the sky phenomena!
Quote

US department of Agriculture's Blackbirds poisioning program is nothing new, and department has been proposing since 2002, to poison the red-winged blackbirds to protect sunflower crops.

The proposition may be to kill 2 million of them a year for three years. The following documentation shows the USDA's nefarious agenda to kill the birds and animals justified based on economic grounds...

Here's a report from Louisiana:

Mass La. bird deaths puzzle investigators

* By KORAN ADDO
* Advocate Westside bureau
* Published: Jan 4, 2011 - Page: 1A

LABARRE — Hundreds of dead and dying birds littered a quarter-mile stretch of highway in Pointe Coupee Parish on Monday as motorists drove over and around them.

State biologists are trying to determine what led to the deaths of the estimated 500 red-winged blackbirds and starlings on La. 1 just down the road from Pointe Coupee Central High School.

The discovery of the dead birds — some of which were lying face down, clumped in groups, while others were face up with their wings outstretched and rigid legs pointing upward — comes just three days after more than 3,000 blackbirds rained down from the sky in Beebe, Ark.

Necropsies performed Monday on the birds in Arkansas showed the birds suffered internal injuries that formed blood clots leading to their deaths, The Associated Press reported.

In Louisiana, biologists with the state Department of Wildlife and Fisheries spent part of the day Monday scooping up some of the birds in Pointe Coupee Parish to be sent for testing at labs in Georgia and Wisconsin.

The remaining carcasses were still on the roadway, on the shoulder and in drainage ditches Monday afternoon as some motorists sped past, flattening birds lying in the roadway, while other drivers slowed down to gawk.

State Wildlife Veterinarian Jim LaCour said he planned to drive to Pointe Coupee to pick up some of the bird carcasses to study.

Lab tests could take several weeks to come up with an explanation for the deaths, and LaCour declined to speculate on possible causes; however, he did say massive bird deaths have been known to occur in the state in the past, albeit in smaller numbers.

“Underlying disease, starvation and cold fronts where birds can’t get their body heat up” have caused similar occurrences “in various species over the years,” he said.

LaCour said some of the bird samples will be sent to the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Wildlife Center in Wisconsin for analysis.

USGS spokesman Paul Slota said Monday afternoon he was unaware of the mass deaths in Louisiana, but he expects bird samples taken from the Arkansas occurrence on New Year’s Eve to arrive Tuesday in Wisconsin.

Slota also declined to speculate on a cause for the deaths, but he said a search of USGS records shows there have been 16 events in the past 30 years involving blackbirds where at least 1,000 of the birds have died seemingly all at once.

“These large events do take place,” he said. “It’s not terribly unusual.”

And with respect ot mu previous post on the rivers turning green down under, this has also happened in Canada. Watch for the dead fish there.

Mystery green substance in B.C. river

Some water in a river on Vancouver Island has turned neon green, prompting an investigation by B.C. Environment Ministry officials.

Residents living near the Goldstream River west of Victoria notified authorities Wednesday and took pictures of a 400-metre section of the river as it flowed by, looking like anti-freeze.

It's not known what caused the discolouration or if the substance in the river was toxic.

The river runs through Goldstream Provincial Park, known for its annual salmon run and as a home to bald eagles.

Sorcha Faal's latest...

A shocking report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Foreign Military Intelligence Directorate (GRU) states that one of the United States top experts in biological and chemical weapons was brutally murdered after he threatened to expose a US Military test of poison gas that killed hundreds of thousands of animals in Arkansas this past week.

According to this report, John P. Wheeler III, Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. from 2005-2008, when he became the Special Assistant to the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Logistics and Environment, was found brutally murdered and dumped in a landfill, and as we can read as reported by the Fox News Service:

“Delaware Police are investigating the apparent murder of a former Bush official who also championed the fund-raising effort to build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the Mall in Washington, D.C. Wheeler’s body was found in Wilmington on Friday.

According to police, somebody initially reported that the body was dumped out of a refuse truck, which would have been coming from Newark, onto the landfill. Newark Police spokesman Lt. Mark Farrall told Fox News that nobody had reported Wheeler missing before he was found.

More mystery bird deaths reported, this time in Louisiana
As if the deaths of 5,000 birds in Arkansas were not strange enough, Louisiana wildlife experts on Tuesday are investigating the deaths of 500 birds along a stretch of highway in Pointe Coupee Parish.

The Louisiana birds included some red-winged blackbirds, the same type discovered dead in Arkansas.

The mix of blackbirds and starlings were discovered on Monday between New Roads and Morganza, Louisiana, according to Bo Boehringer, press secretary for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. That area includes the False River Regional Airport.

Boehringer said the birds were sent to labs in Georgia and Wisconsin to find out how they died, tests which could take a week.

"Our staff veterinarian is not ready to speculate at this time," said Boehringer, regarding the cause of death.

The Louisiana report comes days after some 5,000 birds, mostly red-winged blackbirds, fell from the sky in Beebe, Arkansas on New Year's Eve. Tests by Arkansas veterinary officials concluded Monday they died after massive trauma.

One theory is that birds were spooked by New Year's fireworks and flew into buildings or other objects. Another theory is that severe weather caused the deaths.

"We're leaning more toward a stress event," said Arkansas Game and Fish Commission spokesman Keith Stephens, noting that severe weather had already left the area.

100,000 fish dead in Arkansas River
The Arkansas commission also is trying to determine what caused the deaths of up to 100,000 fish over a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River near a dam in Ozark, 125 miles west of Beebe. The fish were discovered December 30.

Stephens said disease may be the culprit, since almost all the fish were one species -- bottom-feeding drum.

Hundreds of snapper dead on beaches
Fisheries officials are investigating the death of hundreds of snapper washed up on Coromandel Peninsula beaches.

Beachgoers at Little Bay and Waikawau Bay found the fish - many with their eyes missing - dead on the sand yesterday.

Aucklander James Hughes, who was visiting friends, said they were sitting around when children in their group ran towards them holding fish.

"We said, 'Where'd you get them?' and they said they just started floating up to the beach."

Mr Hughes and others on the beach began walking towards the spot where the fish had washed up, and found many dead fish in the water too.

"We spoke to boaties coming in and they said there was a carpet of them floating in the water."

A Department of Conservation official told Mr Hughes fish in the Coromandel area were starving because of weather conditions.

"That's just completely untrue. This was something deliberate and it's just wrong," Mr Hughes said.

Ministry of Fisheries official Brendon Mikkelsen said the fish had been in the water for at least 12 hours and would be unsafe to eat.

Last night, another ministry official said the matter was being investigated.

It would be illegal to deliberately dump snapper, but there could be an innocent explanation, such as a net splitting.

These events are heart-breaking, but if there's one small ray of hope, it's in the 'man-on-the-street' comments like the one above, that show some of the general populace starting to rebel at the absurdity of the Official Authority Explanations.

BTW - the estimated number of dead red-winged blackbirds in Beebe is now closer to 5,000, maybe the thread title should be changed?

I agree with Arpheus and OneLittleFrog. This is something unnatural. Hopefully we can find out the real reason behind these strange happenings. Can it be caused by HAARP? Chemtrails? Corexit/oil in the sea? Microwave/radar beams in the sky? It's happening world wide, too - US: Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Indiana; Canada, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Germany, UK, Haiti.

Without the birds, insects that destroy crops may thrive. Fishes are dying in the sea. Flood in Australia, and cold weather in UK and northern Europe will affect crops. Is the famine campaign starting?

Birds out of the sky is only the beginning, but now even the eagle fell, residents began to unrest, why do so scary?

Forestry University, Harbin, thousands of sparrows in the woods near death, is said to be frozen to death

We know that birds navigate by the magnetic field, only the magnetic field changes, and the birds will be lost fall,

Migratory birds rely on the body's "biological compass" to determine the direction is "open secret", but it is not clear how the perception of the magnetic field of birds.

"Nobody knows it (the magnetic induction system) to work," Patterson said Murray, "magnetic induction principle is that people understand the nature, at least so far the (principle)."

How birds perceive the magnetic field has long been on the two main views. One view is that the birds beak cells can sense the Earth's magnetic field and pass the message through the nervous system to the brain; another point of view, birds eye in the photoreceptor cells can "see" the magnetic field, and the information through another way to the brain is referred to as "N clusters" light processing area.

Specific proteins in migratory birds eye "cryptochrome" Maybe this is the light-dependent magnetic field sensing of the media. Light stimulation of this protein produces a pair of free radicals, free radicals can be carried by the electron spin may be able to perceive the special properties of Earth's magnetic field.

In general, the magnetic elements of change is very small, but with the solar activity and geomagnetic storms are closely related phenomena, but it happened very suddenly. This is because the intense sunspot activity, when the energy released is equivalent to some one hundred thousand hydrogen bomb blast, while a large number of charged particles ejected. These charged particles hitting the Earth forming a powerful magnetic field to the magnetic field superposition, so that under normal circumstances, the magnetic elements changed dramatically, causing "magnetic storms." Occurs when the magnetic storm on Earth many strange phenomena occur. Over the North Pole in the dark there will be a beautiful aurora. The compass will swing, short-wave radio broadcasts suddenly, relying on the magnetic field "navigation" will be lost pigeons, flying around. To cosmic rays and magnetic fields can stop high-energy charged particles from the sun is harmful organisms from the natural umbrella.

There may be and the polarity of the magnetic field changes related to conversion, according to Indian newspaper reports, Hyderabad (Hyderabad), a company's researchers predicted that in 2012 the Earth and the Sun's magnetic poles will reverse. Earth's magnetic reversal Earth's magnetic field is the occurrence of the Arctic and Antarctic swap, in the course of the earth will experience at some point in time there is no magnetic field in the state.

Such things not recorded in human history, so its impact can only be through computer simulation. Hyderabad model based on the Earth and the Sun's magnetic field in addition to the conversion

SCARLINO (Grosseto) - A massacre of fish, clams and crabs: is this the scenario that made the beach in Scarborough on Monday morning. The remains of animals, some still dying, were lying in two parallel rows almost two kilometers long, in a stretch of coast near the industrial area of the town, where there are chemical el'inceneritore. One thing that made the environmentalists scream "ecological disaster". The observations and analysis by the authorities started immediately. Arpat and provincial police took samples of water samples and collected clams, mullet and shellfish, some others died in agony, for analysis of Pisa and the Istituto Zooprofilattico determine the cause of the memory.

MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - State wildlife officials say "several
hundred" dead birds were found near the Murray State University
campus last week.
They say grackles, red wing blackbirds, robins and starlings
were among the dead animals.
New Year's Eve fireworks have been blamed for causing the deaths
of thousands of blackbirds in central Arkansas last week. The bird
deaths made national headlines.
Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources spokesman
Mark Marraccini says someone called police about the discovery in
Kentucky, and they alerted state officials.
Marraccini says tests performed on the birds ruled out diseases
or poisons. He said the deaths could have been caused by weather
conditions or another natural event.

40,000 'devil' crabs wash up on Kent coast after dying from hypothermia in freezing sea

Thousands of dead crabs have washed up along the Kent coast, with environmental experts believing the cold weather in Britain is to blame.

The Velvet swimming crabs - also called devil crabs - are thought to be victims of Britain's coldest December in 120 years, which left sea temperatures much lower than average.

More than 40,000 of the crabs - Britain's largest swimming crab - are littering beaches around Thanet, along with smaller numbers of whelks, sponges and anemones.

'Very large' fish kill reported in bay

State officials say they are investigating a "very large" fish kill in the Chesapeake Bay, but suspect cold temperatures killed them, rather than any water-quality problems.

An estimated 2 million fish have been reported dead from the Bay Bridge south to Tangier Sound, according to the Maryland Department of the Environment, which investigates fish kills. The dead fish are primarily adult spot, with some juvenile croakers.

Agency spokeswoman Dawn Stoltzfus said bay water quality appears acceptable, and biologists believe "cold-water stress" the likely cause of the fish kill. Spot are susceptible to colder water, she said, and normally leave the upper bay by now. Water temperatures plummeted in late December to near-record lows for that time of year, about 36 degrees. The average air temperature last month was 32.4 degrees, 4.3 degrees below normal, and reached 16 degrees at its lowest, according to the National Weather Service.

UPSHUR COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A large number of dead birds spotted on the Hwy 155 bridge near Ore City is most likely a natural occurrence in the area and not related to the mysterious bird deaths in Arkansas and Louisiana.

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Media Communication Director, Tom Harvey, it is not uncommon to see dozens of dead birds on this bridge, including the American Coots here.

The Corps of Engineers office at Lake O' the Pines says they are not exactly sure why this happens, but it appears likely the birds are walking or roosting or flying on and around the bridge and many of them probably get hit and killed by motor vehicles.

The American Coots, which roost under the bridge, are prey for eagles and spook easily. When spooked they fly out from under the bridge in large masses, which explains why such a large number birds could be hit at one time.

Greg Conley, a TPWD staffer, said he has seen a similar situation involving multiple dead birds on bridges and roadways around Lake Fork. So, this appears to be a normal occurrence, not related to the Arkansas "birds falling from the sky" story.

"To my knowledge, there are no bird kills in Texas related to the Arkansas situation," said, Mr. Harvey

hundreds of birds dead in a Drinking water source? no worries?

SAN DIEGO -- Hundreds of birds have turned up dead in a major drinking-water source that serves a large portion of San Diego County, but water officials claim the water is OK to drink.

The Sweetwater Reservoir provides water for 186,000 South Bay residents, but it is possible the water could be contaminated with avian botulism.

Only a handful of Western and Clark's Grebe remain after almost the entire population of the water bird on the Sweetwater Reservoir was wiped out...

Lets go to the common demoninator of both the birds and the fish, only one i can think of is water, so how is the demon so to speak being transmitted from country to country, air or oceananic current........... Could some of that nasty stuff from the gulf now be circulating the currents in the ocean along with the winter migrating patterns of birds???? Or could this be one take, then another situation possibly an uptick in the bird flu mutation, and or forces from outside the planet because of the magnetic shifts going on here. Possibly all 3 happening at the same time as maybe looking at a one catch fits all doesn't apply here.

In 2004, an estimated 300 hippopotamuses in Uganda's Queen Elizabeth National Park died after drinking water contaminated with anthrax. The lethal bacteria can frequently be found in the pools of stagnant water that form during Uganda's dry season. The country has suffered from occasional anthrax outbreaks since the 1950s and because of their semiaquatic nature, hippos are particularly vulnerable to contamination. That's probably why a massive kill happened again in June 2010, when 82 hippos and nine buffalo died after drinking water from Kazinga Channel, which links Lake Edward and Lake George, also in the Queen Elizabeth National Park.

MOSCOW (Reuters) (Reuters) - Russia has recorded its first cases this year of the highly pathogenic H5N1 strain of bird flu in dead domestic birds, the country's animal and plant health agency said on Monday.

Rosselkhoznadzor said in a statement the virus was detected in dead birds found in three domestic yards in the Krasnodar region of southern Russia.

"Yes, it's H5N1," a spokesman for the agency said, when asked to confirm the strain of the virus.

Rosselkhoznadzor said measures were being taken to prevent the spread of infection in the three settlements where cases were found -- Labinsk, Upornaya and Borodinskaya.

The agency said tests had been carried out in regional laboratories and further tests would now be conducted in Moscow.

Russia recorded more than 90 cases of bird flu last year. Most were in southern regions, particularly the North Caucasus area that borders Georgia and Azerbaijan. Several cases were also found in the Siberian regions of Novosibirsk and Omsk.

The outbreak of H5N1 avian influenza began in Asia in 2003 and outbreaks have been confirmed in about 50 countries and territories.

Bird flu has killed 164 people from a total 270 cases recorded in humans since 2003, World Health Organization data shows. At least 200 million birds have been culled worldwide.

Consequence Assessment, or "If you thought Hurricane Katrina was big..."

This is from the Virginia Tech article:

The results indicate that Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri are most severely impacted. Illinois and Kentucky are also impacted, though not as severely as the previous three states. Nearly 715,000 buildings are damaged in the eight-state study region. About 42,000 search and rescue personnel working in 1,500 teams are required to respond to the earthquakes. Damage to critical infrastructure (essential facilities, transportation and utility lifelines) is substantial in the 140 impacted counties near the rupture zone, including 3,500 damaged bridges and nearly 425,000 breaks and leaks to both local and interstate pipelines. Approximately 2.6 million households are without power after the earthquake. Nearly 86,000 injuries and fatalities result from damage to infrastructure. Nearly 130 hospitals are damaged and most are located in the impacted counties near the rupture zone. There is extensive damage and substantial travel delays in both Memphis, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri, thus hampering search and rescue as well as evacuation. Moreover roughly 15 major bridges are unusable. Three days after the earthquake, 7.2 million people are still displaced and 2 million people seek temporary shelter. Direct economic losses for the eight states total nearly $300 billion, while indirect losses may be at least twice this amount.

They do mention loss of nuclear facilities...but only to do with the impact of losing the electrical power they generate, in a quick re-reading, I can't find anything about radiation releases. Those facilities are built like iron fortresses, but I doubt they could withstand the 7.7 quake they are calling for in this simulation.

Gee, I wonder where FEMA plans to put 2 million people seeking temporary shelter? (Written by Ginny in an email response)

WHAT IS REMOVING OXYGEN FROM THE WATERS? Chemtrail chemicals? Or is someone spraying to remove every living thing from this planet? When you wipe out huge pieces of the 'food chain', you are in effect giving ALL living species on this planet a 'death sentence'. Please don't tell me this is so somebody can 'patent' fish and sell us that part of our diet as well. (They have recently requested a patent on pigs and we know they are attempting to make owning natural seeds a crime) Cause there won't be anybody left to buy the products.

From the sky, a sea of white is covering the mouth of the Colorado River. Upon closer look, you´ll see dead fish millions of them.
"Unbelievable if you haven´t seen it before," said Matagorda County Commissioner George Deshotel.

The stunning images of devastation run for miles. It´s one of the largest fish kills people in the town of Matagorda have seen in years.

11 MILLION SALMON MISSING

Warm waters blamed for disappearance of sockeye
CTV.ca News Staff

In the few places on the B.C. coast where sockeye salmon fishing is allowed, boats are coming back to port empty or near-empty this summer, as the annual sockeye run has so far failed to materialize.

The Skeena sockeye run, initially forecast to be 1.2 million fish, has been about half that number. There are also low numbers on the Fraser and Nass Rivers.

On the Fraser River, 11 million salmon were predicted to return, but the peak last weekend saw about 100,000 fish.

Because of the crisis, the commercial fishery has yet to open and the native fishery has been restricted.

Fish kill merits top priority
Tuesday, August 09, 2005

It should be unsettling to more than just anglers that unusual numbers of young smallmouth bass are being found dead in sections of the Susquehanna and Juniata rivers.

Specifically, biologists and anglers are finding large numbers of dying or dead fish with skin lesions downstream from Lewistown in the Juniata and downstream from Sunbury to below Harrisburg in the Susquehanna.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has attributed the problem to a bacterial infection, but the source of that bacteria remains a mystery. Fortunately, the commission says the bacteria -- columnaris, which is caused by environmental or nutritional factors -- posts no threat to humans.

But it´s nevertheless troubling that dead fish are turning up on some of the best bass fishing waters in the United States, and waters used for various recreational purposes and in some cases drinking water in our backyard. And while the smallmouth are the afflicted at the moment, the bacteria can be picked up by other freshwater species; they have been found in smaller numbers on white suckers in the same waters.

Environmentalists hope to find cause of massive fish kill in Bayou Lacombe
03:56 PM CDT on Wednesday, August 10, 2005
Dave McNamara / WWL-TV Reporter

Environmentalists are looking into what´s causing thousands of dead fish to turn up on the Northshore in Bayou Lacombe.

The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation agreed with Glockner that a fish kill of this size, involving these types of fish, is usually an indicator that something is wrong.

The dead fish, mostly shad and pogies, began popping up last week on both sides of the Bayou, as far as three-quarters of a mile from the bayou basin, according to local fisherman and restaurateur Cliff Glockner.

I seen about a hundred, hundred-fifty thousand right here on the top of the water. All stressed, getting ready to die, Glockner said. This is the fourth fish kill in a week and a half. It started last Monday and it went for about two days up the bayou. But as the water fell at night, it progressively moved down to a stretch about half-a-mile long.”

Fisheries officials looking into dead white bass

Associated Press

PIERRE, S.D. - State fisheries officials have been investigating unusually high numbers of dead white bass washing ashore on Lake Oahe during the past week.

Robert Hanten, a fisheries biologist with the Game, Fish and Parks Department, said white bass die-offs are unfortunate and messy, but not unprecedented in South Dakota. They´ve happened in the past on Lake Sharpe and Lake Francis Case, as well as in other parts of the country, he said.

"It is not uncommon to see a few dead fish on a normal day on the water," Hanten said in a release. "But when we get reports of hundreds of dead fish, an investigation is necessary."

Millions of fish dead near Matagorda
Associated Press
MATAGORDA - Millions of small fish have died in the waters of Matagorda Harbor, the Intracoastal Canal and Colorado River in what some in this small coastal community are calling one of the largest local fish kills in recent years.

Recent hot, windless weather has increased water temperatures and lowered the amount of oxygen water can hold, said John O´Connell, Matagorda County marine extension agent.

Sunlight helps microscopic algae in the water produce oxygen. Menhaden, a small bait fish, feed off of the algae and are drawn to the waters in large numbers, O´Connell said.
The demand for oxygen has exceeded production, and the fish have died and risen to the surface, said Willie Younger, a marine education specialist with the Texas A&M Marine Advisory Service.

Fish kills are a natural process but rarely reach the magnitude seen this week, Younger said.

Gulf of Mexico mystery
Wednesday, August 10, 2005

About 20 dead sea turtles have washed ashore in Pinellas County in the past three days, an extremely high number that has doctors and scientists puzzled.

Dive instructor Michael Miller took underwater video to try to figure out the mystery.

"Right now, anywhere we go from shore to 20 miles offshore, from Sarasota to Tarpon Springs, we can´t find a single creature alive on the bottom right now," said Miller.

Miller says he´s never seen such death and devastation under water in his 20 years of diving.

"All the coral, all the sponges, all the crabs, not a single living thing, all the star fish, the brittle stars, everything´s dead," said Miller.

CLEARWATER - When marine researchers issued a favorable red tide update Friday, they forgot to tell the fish.

All weekend, dead fish continued to wash up on some area beaches, local officials said.

``Red tide is a living organism. ... What you are seeing today could be totally different from what was reported last week, said Jeremy Lake, spokesman for the state Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg.

Heat kills thousands of fish on Pebble Lake
By Brandon Stahl

Alan Lunde was boating on Pebble Lake with a colleague on Saturday, July 16, when the two noticed at least two dozen dead fish floating on the water. The next day, Alan and his wife, Carolyn, went out and saw anywhere from 500 to 800.

By Monday night, the residents along the north and east shore of the lake were dealing with a massive fish kill, having to clean up anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 fish.

"It´s never happened before, and it´s never happened since," said Steve Rufer, who has lived on the lake since 2003 and from 1991 to 1998.

Thermal stress

The lake´s tullibee, a species of cold water fish related to trout and salmon, died off from the warm water temperatures, according to Arlin Schalekamp, the DNR´s Area Fisheries Manager.

Schalekamp said the tullibee need to swim in colder water with higher oxygen levels, but the summer´s hot temperatures depleted the oxygen levels, forcing the fish to swim toward the surface where they died from thermal stress.

"It´s fairly common," Schalekamp said. "We see it just about every year where we have one or two lakes that have these tullibee."

Fish at VanWinkle Lake dying from lack of oxygen, other woes
By LARRY ESKRIDGE/of the Daily Ledger

Wednesday, August 10, 2005 11:25 AM CDT

Approximately two weeks ago local residents reported a large number of dead fish floating on Van Winkle Lake near Wallace Park.

Rob Hilsbeck of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources said the fish kill was caused by the low oxygen content of the water, brought on by the low water level and the high temperatures. He added that algae blooms also contributed to the problem, and that the lake was not a good habitat because of the high siltation.
Hilsbeck went on to say that the situation was aggravated by the drought conditions. He noted that the heat made a situation where the water could not hold oxygen, and that it could be made worse by a sudden cold front or a brief rain.

Hilsbeck also said the larger fish, because they needed more oxygen, were the first to die.

Dead zone may be developing on Oregon coast
August 8, 2005

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Starving birds and fewer fish along the Oregon coast are a warning sign that another seasonal “dead zone” may be developing as a result of global warming, biologists say.

No one is sure why it happened. But leading scientists at Oregon State University blame steadily rising sea temperatures, which increasingly appears tied to human-caused global warming.

The oceans are generally warming up, and there are all sorts of signs that something strange is afoot,” said Ronald Neilson, an Oregon State professor and U.S. Forest Service researcher who specializes in climate. Its not new to have change happen. Its how suddenly its happening.

A record 181 adult murres turned up dead on a 4.6-mile stretch of beach just south of Newport in July, more than in any other month in the 28 years teams have surveyed the stretch.

Brandts cormorants, another fishing bird, have washed up dead at rates 50 to 80 times those of previous years, said Julia Parrish, a University of Washington professor who leads a coastal bird survey.

“It’s just awful, said William Sydeman, director of marine ecology for the Point Reyes Bird Observatory in California. “It’s just as bad as we’ve ever seen it.”

Fish Are Killed By Chemical in River

An investigation has been launched after thousands of fish were wiped out by a mystery pollutant - for the second time in a year. More than 20,000 fish, mostly young salmon and trout, were found dead in the River Ebbw, in the Crumlin area this week.

Environment Agency officers were alerted on Monday about a mystery chemical being discharged into the river from a drainage culvert.

The pollutant is believed to be some form of detergent which left other wildlife and invertebrates unharmed.

By the time it had reached Cwmcarn it had lost its power to kill, but had already affected four miles of the river.

John Gregory, the agency´s environment manager is appealing for information and help in tracing the pollution source.

He said: ´It´s heartbreaking to see so many fish killed for the second time in a year. We had a similar pollution last August, but were unable to find the source, even with the help of the local authority in searching the drainage system.´

Bekasi seeks cause of dead fish
City News - August 10, 2005

BEKASI: The Bekasi Council urged the Environmental Management Agency to investigate the death of thousands of fish in Kali Bekasi river since Sunday, suspecting untreated industrial waste had polluted the river.

"The agency has to move fast," councillor Heri Koswara was quoted as saying by Antara on Tuesday, "don´t wait until one resident becomes a victim of water pollution."

Councillor Muhammad Hasyim Affandi from the council´s Commission B that oversees the environment said that they would ask the agency to submit a report on the cause of the phenomenon.

"It first happened a few months ago at every low tide, we could easily pick up thousands of dying fish in the river," said Muksin, 45, a resident of Margahayu subdistrict. "I don´t know what caused it (the death), but they are less tasty compared to fresh ones."

Many fish die of asphyxiation
City News - August 09, 2005

Damar Harsanto, The Jakarta Post, Jakarta

Fish in the waters around Gosong Sekati, Karya, Panggan and Pramuka islets in the Thousand Islands regency have died due to asphyxiation, according to an Environmental Management Agency statement on Monday.

Kakap (Lates calcarifer), Kerapu (Epinephalus tauvina), Pari (Elasmobranchii) and Sembilang (Plotosus sp) fish were among the species found dead on Friday around the four islets.

"The phenomenon was likely caused by a drop in oxygen content in the water due to a rapid proliferation of the phytoplankton population, which absorbs oxygen in the water," the agency´s head Kosasih Wirahadikusumah told The Jakarta Post.

Kosasih said his agency had taken samples of the water from the locations and sent them to the laboratory of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences´s (LIPI) oceanography for examination.

"Hopefully, the laboratory could come up with the result this week and we could know exactly what causes the deaths of the fish," he said.

Head of the Thousand Islands Marine Park Sumarto said that it had been occurring since Friday and was the third major case of its kind this year.

Sea ´dead zones´ threaten fish

BBC News Online environment correspondent in Jeju, Korea

Sea areas starved of oxygen will soon damage fish stocks even more than unsustainable catches, the United Nations believes. The UN Environment Programme says excessive nutrients, mainly nitrogen from human activities, are causing these "dead zones" by stimulating huge growths of algae.

Since the 1960s the number of oxygen-starved areas has doubled every decade, as human nitrogen production has outstripped natural sources. Unep made its remarks as it launched its Global Environment Outlook Year Book 2003.

Thousands of dead fish were found belly up on the Klamath River southwest of Klamath Falls this week, the apparent victims of poor water conditions brought on by hot weather.

Among the dead are some young endangered sucker fish, but most of the fish are tui chubs and fathead minnows, and is no reason for alarm, federal officials said. The fish die-off was reported Tuesday morning by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation scientists, who said it occurred Monday evening.

Dead fish were found on a seven-mile stretch of the Klamath River below Lake Ewauna and in irrigation diversions on the river. The number of dead suckers were estimated to be "several thousand" suckers, said Rae Olsen, Bureau spokeswoman.

"Thousands is the only thing I can tell you," she said.

The dead suckers were found mostly near the Lost River Diversion Channel just south of Klamath Falls, said Roger Smith, fisheries biologist for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Afternoon highs have hovered in the 90s since last Thursday.

"And the day before that it was 86," Smith said.

The warm air makes for hot water. Water in the river was measured at 82 degrees at 4 p.m. Monday.

Suckers can tolerate 75-degree water for quite some time, but it still harms their health, he said.

Fish die-offs are common summertime occurrences that happen because of a combination of low water and high temperatures. When temperatures go up, the water quality goes down because oxygen levels are lowered by decaying algae, Smith said.

Although the warm water and algae blooms can prove fatal for suckers - especially those only about a year old - and tui chubs and fathead minnows, trout usually avoid the danger by swimming to cool pockets of water and away from the algae.

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Three million gallons of liquid manure spilled from a dairy farm and into a nearby river, creating a smelly flow that was blamed for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of fish.

The toxic tide had traveled some 20 miles on the Black River by Friday and was expected to flow past Watertown, a city of 25,000, which shut off its water intake.

Farmers in this dairy-intensive county were warned not to let their cows drink from the river, and emergency officials were trying Friday to flush out the contamination by increasing the flow from the Beaver River, which feeds the Black River.

The process could take a week or two, said Jim Martin, Lewis County´s emergency manager.

"If we get some good rain over the weekend, it´s going to help a lot. If it stays hot and dry, it´s going to stay awhile," Martin said.

The manure spilled from a lagoon at the large Marks Farms late Wednesday or early Thursday when an earthen wall blew out, sending the liquid into a drainage ditch and then into the river, Martin said.

State officials estimated the manure had killed hundreds of thousands of fish, including perch, bass, catfish, shiners and walleye.

The state health department was monitoring the manure. No human illnesses had been reported, Martin said.

No charges had been filed against the farm owners as of Friday morning, he said.

The farm, about 5 miles south of Lowville, is owned by David and Jacquelyn Peck and William Marks, according to federal records. A woman answering the phone there Friday said the owners were not speaking to reporters.

Steven Fuller, who owns a riverside restaurant in Lowville, said his restaurant had many cancellations Thursday. "The smell is your typical dairy air, you might say," he said.

Watertown can draw from a 60 million gallon reserve supply of water through the weekend, if need be, said Brian Gaffney, the city´s treatment plant operator.

The spill was expected to reach Lake Ontario in coming days.

Fourth Fish Kill Investigated in the Region
8/15/2005

Usually a breeze during a hot summer day is a welcomed treat. But over the last several days, The wind has been blowing the scent of dead fish into a Metairie neighborhood. It's all the result of a fish kill in the 17th street canal.

In a canal best known as a border between Orleans and Jefferson Parishes, silver specks glisten in the water. But take a closer look, and you´ll see the sun shining on dead fish.

In Bucktown workers from the department of environmental quality used a water quality probe to measure temperature and oxygen levels.

"We had identical conditions in Bayou Lacombe last week with the fish kill that occurred there," said John Calvin of the Department of Environmental Quality.

The cause: nothing toxic, according to DEQ. Just high heat and low tide, which means low to no oxygen in the water.

"If there´s no oxygen for them, then they´re in trouble. They´re starved for oxygen and they perished," Jeff Dauzat of the Department of Environmental Quality.

According to DEQ, this is the fourth fish kill in the region.

Cause of Carmel fish kill probed

By MICHAEL RISINIT
THE JOURNAL NEWS
(Original publication: August 16, 2005)

CARMEL”What killed hundreds of fish over the weekend in the Croton Falls Reservoir remained a mystery yesterday.

"Never in my life have I seen anything like it," said Morgan Seymour Jr., 76, a lifelong Carmel resident and avid outdoorsman.

Seymour was describing the 1,000 dead fish” sawbellies, white perch and yellow perch — he saw at the Croton Falls Reservoir floating in the water or washed up on the shore. A retired railroad engineer, he was driving down Stoneleigh Avenue Friday evening when he noticed a mob of gulls and cormorants diving into the water near where the road crosses the reservoir.

"I said to myself, ´That´s unusual,´ " Seymour said. "So I turned the car around and went back for a look."

The reservoir is part of New York City´s water supply, which delivers drinking water to 9 million people, including part of Putnam County and most of Westchester. City and state environmental authorities yesterday were looking for the cause of the fish kill.

"For now, we just don´t know," said Ian Michaels, a spokesman for the city´s Department of Environmental Protection. "We had people investigating over the weekend and today."

The DEP oversees the water supply. Ongoing dam construction has lowered the water level by about 50 feet, squeezing the Croton Reservoir´s fish into smaller and shallower areas than usual.

Michaels said researchers were testing for various pollutants and looking to see if the construction upstream at the Middle Branch Reservoir released any contaminants into the water. They were also monitoring the reservoir´s content of dissolved oxygen” what fish need to survive.

"It seems whatever the condition was has subsided. We´re going to keep trying to figure it out." he said.

High temperatures, too little oxygen cited as probable causes for thousands of dead fish found floating in East Rockaway

BY ERIK GERMAN AND SID CASSESE
STAFF WRITERS

August 18, 2005

Several thousand dead fish were found floating yesterday in East Rockaway in a local waterway known as Mill River, a serious die-off state authorities blamed on high temperatures and low oxygen levels in the water.

Officials measured the water temperature at an unusually high 84 to 86 degrees, said Maureen Wren, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

Many residents call it the worst fish kill they´ve seen in their area. "All the shrimp, the baby bunkers, carp, white perch, striped bass, all dead," said resident Steve Christen.sen, 57, as he stood on a dock on the Oceanside shore of the river.

Christensen, who added that many crabs also died, said the fish died beginning Tuesday night and he saw them surfacing with mouths gaping, as if gasping for air.

One expert said this may have been exactly what the fish were doing before they expired. "They´re trying to bubble more oxygen into the water that passes over their gills," said Gordon Taylor, a biologist at the Marine Sciences Research Center at Stony Brook University. Taylor said marine life often exhibit this behavior when water becomes hypoxic -- when oxygen levels drop dangerously low as temperatures rise.

The DEC and Hempstead town officials also blamed .hypoxia.

"More than likely, it´s a lack of oxygen in the water," said Ron Masters, the Town of Hempstead´s commissioner of conservation and waterways.

Lake Koocanusa fish kill investigated
Posted: Thursday, Aug 18, 2005 - 08:40:10 am PDT
By JIM MANN
The Daily Inter Lake

They don´t know how it happened, but officials with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks intend to sleuth their way to answers behind a another fish kill on Lake Koocanusa.

"We´ve seen identical types of kills at least twice before," said Jim Vashro, the department´s regional fisheries manager.

The difference this time was a timely report and a quick response that allowed the department´s fish health specialist to collect samples of the dead kokanee salmon before they decomposed.

"Obviously, as the fish decompose, any evidence is degraded," Vashro said. "It appears the bulk of the fish died on Sunday and Monday and it was reported late Monday. Our fish health specialist from Great Falls was able to find fish that were still dying on Tuesday, so he got very good samples. The kill involved "thousands" of kokanee salmon, with some odd circumstances.

"What´s interesting is every dead fish is an adult kokanee that was getting ready to spawn in about a month," Vashro said. "No other fish species are affected and no young kokanee are affected, so that´s kind of peculiar."

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released its preliminary findings in this spring´s dolphin die-off; 107 dolphins died in 35 days here in the Panhandle.

With every dolphin carcass, another piece of the puzzle was discovered, but researchers are still searching for the main picture.

Dr. Teri Rowles with NOAA led the research response effort along the Panhandle.

"It look like they died shortly after ingesting a meal. Many of the animals had whole or partially digested fish in the stomach," he says.

NOAA got involved almost immediately to study this unusual mortality event. This is the third dolphin die-off related to red tide in the Gulf of Mexico, and the second one off the Florida Panhandle. However, this time the animals showed a higher level of brevetoxin, which is produced by red tide.

Ron Hardy, the owner of Gulf World, was the on-site coordinator for the dolphin recovery. He says every bit of information is useful.

"When you take probably the most popular living mammal in the ocean, the whales and the dolphins, to monitor their health and what´s going on with them. I think tells us the health of the ocean itself."

NOAA dismissed any link between the die-off and military activity in the Gulf or possible pollutants as a distinctive factor in the dolphin deaths. Hardy says nothing is being taken for granted in this research process, despite taking some time.

"There´s a lot of things we´ve learned that doesn´t involve red tide. When you get that many animals and you can do the necropsies and do all the tissue, so we´re just learning hundreds and hundreds of things."

The focus now is why the toxin is killing the dolphins and at what level is the toxin potentially fatal, but until all the questions are answered, the puzzle remains unsolved.

Million Fish Die In Colorado
At Once - 'A Lack Of Oxygen'?
From Judith Moriarty
3-10-7

I was having a cup of tea in the kitchen when I heard a 'brief' blurb on the news telling of a million fish that had died in the Colorado River (covering an area of 7 miles). The reason given was 'lack of oxygen'. I waited to hear more on evening broadcasts (pictures) and there was NOTHING just that 30 second announcement. When I went searching I found that this was not an aberration pertaining just to the Colorado, but was happening in all parts of the country (rivers & lakes) and to put the people, who blame farmer's fertilizer at ease, many of these areas had no farms anywhere near them. Tens of thousands of fish have been found in California, Oregon, Washington State, Pennsylvania, and the Potomac etc. Looking further, I found that this is happening world wide, from Romania to China! Combine these massive die-offs with thousands of dead whales, sea turtles, porpoises, birds, honey bees, and butterflies.well, it's not hard to reason that the planet is dying. These massive deaths appear to be reported only locally and never making it to the national scene or an all out alarm by the EPA or environmental (corporate sponsored) groups?

The Gulf of Mexico has a DEAD ZONE that is approximately 7,000 square miles! Oregon has a DEAD ZONE off of its coast the size of Rhode Island. NO ALARM bells. I can understand this depraved indifference, since massive pollution, (84,000 gallons a day) from a landfill holding 2.3 MILLION TONS of putrid garbage is contaminating ground water and rivers in my own state (NH). When our state Department of Environmental Services held a hearing in the little town of Bethlehem (northern NH) they had the audacity to tell a citizen, who held a jar aloft, with this rusted polluted water that 'iron is good for you'. Sending the website 'Goliath Trust' and photos off to the Governor, Executive Council, and various legislators, was met with SILENCE. Moral: Corporate polluters, military testing (sonar), corporate HOG farmers, etc, take precedence over the health of the nation and our waters...

Second large fish kill reported in Plaquemines
More testing needed to determine cause of death of thousands of fish

http://www.wwltv.com/news/local/Third-fish-kill-reported-in-Plaquemines-103204929.html

Officials in Plaquemines Parish are reporting a fish kill in Bayou Robinson – the third such fish kill in the parish in recent days.
P. J. Hahn, director for the Coastal Zone Management Department, took photos of another large fish kill in the waters of Plaquemines Parish.
The previous fish kills were reported in Bay Chaland and Bay Joe Wise and were predominantly menhaden, also called pogie.
The Bay Chaland fish kill was discovered on Sept. 10 and the Bay Joe Wise fish kill was discovered by officials Thursday.

“Hahn said Thursday that the fish (in Bay Joe Wise) covered at least one-fourth of a square mile, with oil visible among them. He said he wanted the area tested because it was affected by oil from the Gulf of Mexico spill,” said a report from the Associated Press.
In addition to hundreds of thousands of dead fish floating west of the Mississippi River in Bayou Chaland, several days before, a large starfish kill was found in nearby Barataria Bay, and a dead baby whale was discovered near Venice a few days later.
So far, none of the fish kills have been connected to oil spilled in the Gulf of Mexico from the Deepwater Horizon or the oil disperant used in fighting the oil spill.

A day after reported, Randy Pausina, assistant secretary for the Office of Fisheries in the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, said biologists went to check the fish kill at Bay Joe Wise on Friday and expected to find the cause to be similar to Bay Chaland, low oxygen caused by high temperatures in shallow water.
“‘The hotter the water is, the less oxygen the water can hold,’ Pausina said. Heat also speeds up plant and animal metabolism, so they need more oxygen. Fish trapped in shallow water use up its oxygen and suffocate,” said a report from the Associated Press.

Another massive fish kill: The Almonda River, Portugal
Loss of life of “thousand of fish” in the river Almonda
Appologies for the translation

The president of the Meeting of Clientele of Azinhaga, in concelho of the Golegă, alerted this tuesday for a loss of life of “thousand of fish” in the river Almonda. Vítor Guide attributes the death of the fish to a pollutant discharge in the water course. The situation was detected no longer passed Saturday and the Service of Protecçăo of the Nature and Ambiente (SEPNA) of the GNR confirmed to the Lusa that if dislocated to the place in the sunday, day 19, not advancing still which the reasons of the loss of life of the fish. “Already we cannot more life thus I smell, it is insuportável and each time has more fish died in waters and in the edges of the river”, it added Vítor Guide. The autarca also alleges that the stations of residual water treatment (ETAR) of concelho nothing have to see with the pollutant discharge because. In accordance with Vítor Guide, as much the ETAR of the Golegă as the ETAR of Azinhaga is to send the volumes for the estuary of the river Tejo, in a zone downstream of where the pollutant discharge in the river Almonda was detected. This discharge is to be investigated by the SEPNA together with technician of the Hidrográfica Administration of the Region of the Tejo (ARH-Tejo), that they had collected in the place some samples of the water for analysis. The chunk of the river Almonda where if it verifies the death of the fish is placed already is of the Natural Reserve of the Paul of the Boquilobo, still related the autarca of Azinhaga.

Dozens of whales die on New Zealand beach
'More whales are still coming in,' says rescuer; some are tossed onto rocks
9/22/2010
WELLINGTON, New Zealand — At least 40 out of some 80 pilot whales that stranded themselves on a remote northern New Zealand beach have died, and more whales are joining them on land, officials said Wednesday.
It was the second mass beaching in the region in a month.

"More whales are still coming in. Pilot whales have very strong social bonds and they try to help each other so more keep getting stuck," said Mark Simpson of Project Jonah, a charity that protects marine mammals.
"Rescuers are concentrating on trying to move the mammals out of the surf and onto the beach to prevent them from drowning," New Zealand's Department of Conservation said in a statement. "Sadly, many have been washed up against the rocks probably resulting in injuries."

DOC staffer Patrick Whaley said rough seas and gusting winds, some reaching 40 knots, were making it extremely hard to move the animals that were scattered along 1.5 miles of beach.

New Zealand Department of Conservation via AP
Dead whales are removed from the beach at Spirits Bay on Wednesday.
"It’s heart-wrenching to have to see so many whales coming ashore and then drowning in the surf, without being able to reach them in time," he said.

Whaley said the DOC had already had to make the decision to euthanize some of the weakest and most stressed animals. "It is absolutely cruel to leave them to suffer a slow and painful death," he said.

Conditions at Spirits Bay meant the survivors will have to be taken by road about an hour south to Rarawa Beach on Thursday morning where they will be refloated.
"They will be lifted up with big nets on to the back of trucks with straw or hay loaded on them," Simpson said.
DOC area manager Jonathan Maxwell said at least 25 of the animals were already dead when officials arrived at Spirits Bay, and another 15 had died by nightfall. In addition to the 40 still alive and stuck on the beach, another 50 were spotted just offshore, he said, though some of them had since beached.

Volunteers from Far North Whale Rescue, conservation officials and the local Maori community planned to stay at the beach overnight to help keep the whales alive.
"We need as many volunteers as possible, as it will be at least until tomorrow before we can look at refloating them, which means caring for them over the next 2 days," Maxwell said Wednesday.
In mid-August at nearby Karikari Beach, 58 pilot whales stranded. Despite hundreds of helpers fighting to save them, just nine were eventually floated off the beach and returned to the sea.
A pod of 101 pilot whales stranded on the same beach in 2007.

New Zealand has one of the world's highest rates of whale strandings, mainly during their migrations to and from Antarctic waters, one of which begins around September.
Since 1840, the Department of Conservation has recorded more than 5,000 strandings of whales and dolphins around the New Zealand coast. Scientists have not been able to determine why whales become stranded.

I offer this morsel of interesting information. I spoke with 'Charles' yesterday for a short while, and he suggested indirectly that these incidents were caused by HAARP.

This was not a clear definitive statement, but an allusion in passing while talking about other matters. I noted the remark, and it seemed to fit. Think of it as a hypothesis to be checked - which I've not done.

little disconcerting, if it is, as it seems likely, because of the widespread incidents of birds and fish around the world, they may be preparing it for a more mammalian use

Yes ... my best intuition spelled HAARP when I read reports of liquefied internal organs. Think along this line: water can be vibrated with sound. Most living things are multicellular constructions. Cells are mostly water. Cell burst. Don't know what range of frequencies they are using (e.g. microwaves??), but the bees had already experienced a reduction in their number and some have linked that to radiation from cellular phones.

Perhaps the underground bases are there to offer protection from HAARP energies when the Mastards decide to irradiate the planet's surface? Radiation from irradiation would be short-lived in comparison to nuclear radiation, no?

Here's some info on HAARP:

I also heard of the Modified LRAD that operates on a frequency that resonates the same as the birds, in this case their rib cage, but his can be adapted to humans and their skull, what a seriously sick and twisted WMD that is, ask Charles about it. We know it does exist, but is it operational, and I am not suggesting it WAS used here, it's mere theory and one that does not explain the fish, but the Phosgene gas leak, this however is a rumor, but does suggest that it could be done, reason being Phosgene is like chlorine it reacts as a gas in the water, and does escape into the atmosphere much like chlorine, however would need to be extremely condensed to kill birds and indeed the surrounding wild life would also die.

HAARP is the obvious choice, using electromagnetic pressure, so what first the fish, then birds, then the crops and then US? And I said it was HAARP on Tuesday on the Ben and Jerry show for the UTE

Dead birds in Sweden killed by 'external blows'

(CNN) -- A large number of dead birds were found in the city of Falköping, Sweden, on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, according to the Swedish National Veterinary Institute.

Autopsies were performed on five of the birds. The institute said they died due to "sudden, hard external blows," according to its website. They had no signs of infection or other illnesses, and there were no external signs indicating what killed them.

Madison lab solves mystery of Arkansas blackbird die-off

The mystery of the deaths of thousands of blackbirds in Arkansas this month has been solved.

They died of blunt-force trauma, according to the National Wildlife Health Center in Madison. Samples of the blackbirds - and other blackbirds from a separate mass die-off about the same time in Louisiana - were brought to the little-known laboratory on Madison's west side for necropsies.

"They died of impact force to their bodies," said Scott Wright, chief of disease investigations at the center.

He said the birds clearly showed signs of bruises and hemorrhaging.

About 3,000 blackbirds died on New Year's Eve. Fireworks probably sent them flying from their roost sites.

Fish kill on Folly Beach claims thousands

FOLLY BEACH — Hundreds of thousands of dead menhaden littered the sand here this morning, stretching in either direction from the Folly Pier in a line along the tide wash as far as could be seen. Blackbirds and grackle were picking at them.

State wildlife biologists are responding the kill; early indications are that it’s cold-related, said Phil Maier with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. The menhaden appear to have been healthy otherwise. Officials at other nearby beaches had no reports of fish kills there.

The die-off follows the discovery of thousands of dead starfish on Isle of Palms in December, amid a growing list of sea life trauma caused by unusually cold sea temperatures. The cold has wildlife officials alarmed for food and game fish such as shrimp, as well as sea trout and red drum. Isolated reports of lethargic and dead trout and drum have been coming in to DNR, Maier said.

"Madison lab solves mystery of Arkansas blackbird die-off" (quote from above post)

Solves, indeed. The devil's bureaucracy is not even trying hard to fool us anymore. Drop a pumpkin from a hundred feet and see the energies at work. A bird at 500 feet? Which brings us back to the question at hand .. why did they fall? Do falls from such heights have the ability to liquefy internal organs? Do diets? More questions. Were the falls from the sky near simultaneous? If not, what can account for so many falls in such a short time ... diet? So many unanswered questions yet NDHC in Madison is ready to put the stamp on the mystery and toss it in the 'solved' bin.

:smow::typing:

ps: Good work, Spirit of Irish. The fact of height and gravity and conversion of potential energy had not even entered my thought process. IMHO, HAARP is definitely involved. But before we can get to HAARP, these matchbook college scientists need to be exposed for their incompetence and/or their audacity; and your observation of the likely cause of blunt force trauma, does just that.

'Charles' suggested to me - but very indirectly - that this might be HAARP. I could immediately believe it.

I too 2nd the possibility of HAARP, it was the first thing that struck me once I heard the news. 10 thousand + birds died here in Manitoba (Canada) too - and they are doing a mean job covering up the events. MANY Winnipeggers heard the local news on our Top radio news station CJOB - and later in the day it was like the news was wiped from history, no one could find anything on the subject to reference it. The only proof were the people who tuned into the morning news to hear it. Sounds buggy to me.

I didnt have time to read all pages in this thread, so pardon me if this was mentioned already.

A TV station in the East Texas town of Tyler reports that hundreds more dead birds have been discovered along the sides of a highway bridge. This news adds fresh fuel to a growing conundrum over the cause of hundreds of thousands of avian deaths in localities thousands of miles apart.

The station, KLTV, acknowledges that around 200 birds were found dead this morning on state highway 155. The birds, identified as American coots or mud-hens, are the first of this species to be cited in the recent spate of deaths. As with previous cases, the cause of death is not immediately apparent.

AND FOR THE BEST PART

The birds could have been spooked by a boat coming through that area, [or by] a bird of prey such as a bald eagle.

It has been suggested that there is a link between some of these deaths and John P. Wheeler, III, the special assistant to the secretary of the Air Force from 2005-2008, who was recently found dead in a Delaware landfill.

John Wheeler, 66, was last seen 28 December 2010 on a train from Washington to Wilmington.

His body was found on 31 December, as a garbage truck emptied its contents at the Cherry Island landfill.

His death has been ruled a homicide. (Dead Birds, Dead Fish and One Murdered Military BioWeapons Expert ...)

Wheeler's military career included writing a manual on the effectiveness of biological and chemical weapons. (BioWeapons Expert.)

His work involved "standing up Cyberspace Forces and placing Precision Strike technology."

The town of Beebe is less than 20 miles from the Little Rock Air Force Base.

In 2010, it was reported that some Air Force researchers were testing high-powered microwave blasts to knock small robo-planes out of the sky. (Dead Blackbirds in Arkansas)

According to Paul Joseph Watson and Alex Jones of PrisonPlanet.com "Electromagnetic scalar weapons that can artificially manipulate the environment could be responsible for the mass die offs.

"We know for a fact that over a decade ago the U.S. Military Industrial Complex was aware of and involved in the testing of such technology."

Anders Wirdheim of the Swedish Ornithological Society (Sveriges ornitologiska förening, SOF) believes the jackdaws likely were frightened in the middle of the night, then flew around in the dark and collided with various objects.

"Jackdaws spend the night in trees in large flocks. If they are frightened, hundreds of birds could take flight at once," he told TT.

Wirdheim noted that the affected bird species in the US are also those who spend the night in large flocks. He added that the birds' situation may have aggravated because they are weakened.

"This winter has been unusually tough and jackdaws may be in poor condition. That makes it easier for them to fly into different objects. There is very little food in the wild compared with previous years and I see dying birds every day," he said.

The Local: Sweden's news in English (http://www.thelocal.se/31262/20110105/)

"Migrating birds often come across bad weather, lose their sense of orientation, hit cable lines or run out of energy. What's strange about these cases is that the birds were not out flying, but were sleeping. Something must have happened to make them leave their resting place," he (Kraft) says.

The harsh winter in the west of Sweden, with freezing temperatures, heavy snowfall, and a lack of food for birds, could also have contributed to weakening the jackdaws' immune systems, making them more susceptible to stress, added Kraft.

Just want to add my thoughts on the recent bird deaths, fish deaths and so forth.

My first suspicion was a breach in Earth's electromagnetic field. From my rudimentary understanding of biology, birds and other species have synced with the Earth's electromagnetic field. A breach would cause a disruption, leading birds to get confused and/or collide into something, sending them to their deaths.

I've read of the magnetic North Pole moving further towards Siberia. I've also read about the large fish-kills recently, though I've seen explanations of that being a man-made issue (especially the green water!).

I'm not going to post links because these are purely my thoughts.

I find myself excited (in a good way) at what's going on in this world. We are experiencing rapid changes and it's good to stay on your feet. People should avoid becoming bogged down and instead, PAY ATTENTION to the changes that are occurring. You can't prepare for something if you're concentrated solely on your negative self.

"Top U.S. Official Murdered After Arkansas Weapons Test Causes Mass Death
© Whatdoesitmean.com
January 4, 2011

A shocking report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by the Foreign Military Intelligence Directorate (GRU) states that one of the United States top experts in biological and chemical weapons was brutally murdered after he threatened to expose a U.S. Military test of poison gas that killed hundreds of thousands of animals in Arkansas this past week.

Delaware Police are investigating the apparent murder of a former Bush official who also championed the fund-raising effort to build the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the Mall in Washington, D.C.

The Wilmington News Journal reported that Wheeler was last seen riding an Amtrak train from Washington to Wilmington, Del., last Tuesday.
Wheeler’s military career included writing one of the most important manuals on the effectiveness of biological and chemical weapons which led to his being hired in 2009 as a consultant to the Mitre Corporation, whose aviation system development department, the GRU reports, is at the forefront of creating the computer command and control systems used by the U.S. Air Force in their fleet of aerial spraying planes.

These aerial spraying planes, this report continues, are based at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas that over the past few months have been involved with ‘test dispersants’ of poisonous gasses in the Afghanistan War Theater using chemical weapons stocks obtained from Iraq and held at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, also located in Arkansas.

Important to note about the Pine Bluff Arsenal, which calls itself “America’s Arsenal“, is that it is one of the World’s most specialized munitions and chemical-biological defense products and services bases which Russia had previously accused of not fully reporting the chemical agents removed from Iraq, between 2003 and 2008, and taken to the U.S. for testing and subsequent destruction.

According to this report, the U.S. relocated from Iraq to the Pine Bluff Arsenal an estimated 63,000 metric tonnes of the poisonous gas Phosgene that is described as one of the most feared chemical weapons ever used due to its ability to literally cause the lungs and respiratory system to explode.

Nearly immediately after Russia accused the U.S. this past summer of not fully destroying Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stockpile the Pine Bluff Arsenal began an ‘accelerated’ disposal programme injecting it deep into the ground in central Arkansas, but which, unfortunately, since this past September, has caused over 500 minor earthquakes to occur raising the concerns of their local population.

More frightening, however, is the claim made in this report that the Americans have also begun shipping ‘massive quantities’ of Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stocks to Afghanistan where when used they will be able to say they had nothing to do with it, and believe no one will be able to prove it either.

Important to note about Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stocks are that they are no longer able to be made by any Western country, including the United States, which makes its value as a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) incalculable, especially in a war situation like Afghanistan where the enemy forces are firmly entrenched in hostile terrain.

To the direct reason for Wheeler’s murder, this report says, was this past week’s transport of Iraqi Phosgene poisonous gas aboard a U.S. Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft from Little Rock Air Force Base enroute to Afghanistan that shortly after takeoff had a ‘critical malfunction’ of its aerial spraying computer directed command and control system over central Arkansas causing the deaths of thousands of red-wing blackbirds.

According to U.S. reports an estimated 5,000 of these birds were killed outright and were quickly removed by U.S. Environmental Services workers wearing hazmat suits and gas masks. Another U.S. report states that cause of death to these thousands of birds was “trauma in the breast tissue, with blood clots in the body cavity and a lot of internal bleeding” which this GRU report states is consistent with Phosgene exposure.

Even more chilling than this incident is this GRU report stating that it was the second “accidental” release of Phosgene poisonous gas in as many days, as the day before, this same U.S. Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft also had a “critical malfunction” causing a release over the Arkansas River that killed over 100,000 fish.

Upon Wheeler discovering what was happening with Iraq’s Phosgene poisonous gas stockpiles, this report continues, he traveled from his home in Delaware to Washington D.C. where he openly confronted and threatened to expose the Pentagon and White House Officials responsible. Being a Vietnam Veteran who was responsible for having the famous memorial to that war erected, Wheeler was more than knowledgeable about the United States massive chemical and biological attacks in that conflict and had vowed to not let it happen again.

Sadly, but all too common in the United States these days, when Wheeler threatened to go public with what was happening he was targeted for death, and as a “sign” to anyone else thinking of going against the regime, had his body dumped in a garbage pit for all the World to see.

Today, another great American was murdered in an effort to save his country from destruction. Sadly, his death will go barely noticed; the American people seem no longer to care as they continue to seek their solace in their propaganda media lies rather than confronting the brutal truth about the monsters they have let rule over them.

For hundreds of thousands of other Americans they have become so disassociated with what is happening to, and around them, they have proclaimed May 21, 2011 as the day the World will end and are giving up everything in preparing to meet their God.

The great American Revolutionary leader Noah Webster once said:
Every child in America should be acquainted with his own country. He should read books that furnish him with ideas that will be useful to him in life and practice. As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse the history of his own country.
The Americans living today have utterly failed to heed these words and have, instead, become just what their masters have always intended for them to be… imbeciles. May God have mercy on them all."

Dead birds, fish around world spark flood of wild conspiracy theories from End of Days to HAARP

Dead fish in the Chesapeake, birds dying in Arkansas and Kentucky, thousands of crab corpses littering beaches in England.

These random incidents around the world have unleashed a flood of conspiracy theories, each proclaiming government cover-ups or apocalyptic proclamations about the end of the world.

"Personally, I definitely do believe we're in the End of Days, and I believe there is a lot of evidence of that," Steve Wohlberg, an author and theologian who has written several books about the end of the world, told the Daily News.

Although he believed experts needed time to perform tests to determine how and why these animals perished, the deaths are "mysteriously interesting," and part of a larger picture that indicates the world is spiraling downward towards its end.

"I'm an observer of the times," said Wohlberg, who hosts a nationally syndicated radio show and has appeared on several television documentaries about the Bible and the Apocalypse. "The End of Days will have a parallel to the days of Noah," he said.

For example, Wohlberg explained, God used animals to signal the flood was approaching by having them gather two-by-two and enter the Ark.

"On the Earth today, there's a lot of violence, and a lot of corruption," Wohlberg said. "Indicators are flashing that there's a storm ahead of us.

Accommodation in the Italian town of Faenza says that "rained down as Santastic from heaven".

Suddenly Low 8000 killing pigeons on the ground.

All had blue spots on their beaks - which could indicate poisoning or hypoxia.

The macabre rain fell over the city of Faenza in Italy on Wednesday.

An eyewitness told the newspaper the Examiner, it suddenly began to fall pigeons from the sky.

- First they came one by one, then bounced it down to ten and twenty at the same time. We have no idea why this happened.
One of two reasons

In contrast to the nearly 3000 dead blackbirds were in the U.S. state of Arkansas and the 70 dead jackdaws in Swedish Falkirk who earlier this week had found all of the 8000 killing pigeons in Italy blue marks on their beaks.

An initial investigation indicates that the spots may be due to one of two reasons:

1st Poisoning.

2nd Hypoxia.

The deaths in Italy is thus, in contrast to Sweden and the United States, the first bird of mass death that suggest either that they got married in themselves or that they became ill.
External trauma and internal bleeding

The birds in the United States had many signs of external violence. Broken wings, necks, beaks. Signs indicating that the birds became disoriented and flew into a building and died.

In Sweden hypotesten that the majority of the jackdaws were killed by external force, by state epizootologen Marianne Elvander.

Blue stain believed to be sign of poisoning or hypoxia - lack of oxygen that is precursor to altitude sickness
* Cold weather and overbreeding blamed for deaths of two 2million fish in Chesapeake Bay
* Disease behind deaths of 100,000 fish in Arkansas River
* At least nine incidents of mass animal deaths across the globe
* Hundreds of confused birds plummeted to their deaths in multiple locations in the U.S.
* Rapid movement of Magnetic North Pole towards Russia may have caused bird deaths

Thousands of dead turtle doves rained down on roofs and cars in an Italian town in the latest in a growing spate of mass animal deaths across the globe.

Residents in Faenza described the birds falling to the ground like 'little Christmas balls' with strange blue stains on their beaks.

Initial tests on up to 8,000 of the doves indicated that the blue stain could have been caused by poisoning or hypoxia.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- A weather radar screen doesn't just show the weather, apparently. The National Weather Service in North Little Rock examined a speck on the radar that showed up around the same time hundreds of birds fell out of the sky from alleged trauma on New Year's Eve.

Today's THV reporter Lauren Clark talked to Science and Operations Officer Chris Buonanno at the NWS who says that the speck on the picture is definitely not precipitation.

Hi guys,

I'm from London, England and wanted to share something with you regarding the mass bird deaths situation - an example of synchronicity and how it might mean something or mean nothing, depending on interpretation.

Ok, so, over Christmas I was watching a brilliant british sitcom called Peep Show, (the xmas episode) where a character gives her boyfriend a Flashforward DVD boxset. I remeber thinking it was the first time in ages I'd heard the show mentioned anywhere in my web or tv travels.

Personally, I'd never seen the show and didn't care much about it. But, I stuck with the odd feeling and tried to work out what it could mean.

With the recent bird deaths and the connection many have made to the television series Flashforward, I found the situation a little freaky, leaving me with a weird synchronicity feeling.

So, a glimpse of the future - or a tenuous association given spooky credibility by my own interpretation?

But lots of birds falling dead outta the sky is prettty disturbing at any rate. And fish, and possibly other die-offs as well.

In the episode of Peep Show that mentions the Flashforward DVD boxset I wanted to riff a little more, if you'll permit me. When Mark opens his girlfriend's present and realises it's Flashforward he says awkwardly, (and approximately),

"We've watched all the Lost's, which had some interesting themes. And all the Heroes, which also had some interesting themes - and some not so interesting themes. And Prison Break...? By the end I very much wanted to break out of the prison that Prison Break had become for us..."

Three distinct levels of weirdness, if you follow me.

I don't know why the mention of Flashforward creeped me out so much. But once I started riffing on the words Flash Forward I saw an oblique connection to the title 'Peep Show'.

Now, in retrospect it feels like a genuine spooky synch or glimpse of something, but it's based on little more than a tissue of tenuous interpretation. Does that invalidate the feeling?

One last fact: that episode of Peep Show was the christmas episode, where a major point in the story is that the christmas turkey (bird sacrifice/offering) isn't properly COOKED. I mean, seriously, there's sychromystic associations to be had here for sure.

Maybe it's just me, or the potency of the creative, combining mind. Either way, here's to more discernment AND open-mindedness in our adventures.

Thanks Seikou-Kishi

What I find particularly strange is Mark's dialogue in this episode. After opening his flashforward DVD he talks about Lost, then Heroes, then Prison Break. Three distinct aspects of understanding the manipulation of consiciousness, if you will. Lost correlates to time/reality manipulation, Heroes to superpowers inherent in DNA (or humanity's demi-god status) and Prison Break to the gnostic spiritual prison the manipulators have engineered or are at least maintaining for us.

Strange times, huh?

You know that hadn't dawned on me in the slightest. Incidentally, the names of the three shows form something of a 'headline' style sentence "LOST HEROES PRISON BREAK"

xcalibre

It does indeed. Also, we could take the fact that the theme song for Peep Show has the lyrics "I'm so hot, 'cause I'm in hell" as tenuous circumstantial evidence to back up a metaphysical or gnostic reading of the whole LOST HEROES PRISON BREAK thing, surely? Just an interpretation though. But there is a creepy vibe to this synch, and I'm glad I'm not alone in noticing it.

Here's another one to add to the list! I heard about it on the RAINews and found this in English:

Thousands of turtle doves drop dead from the sky in Italy in latest bizarre mass animal deaths

By Mirror.co.uk 7/01/2011

Thousands of turtle doves have rained down from the skies on an Italian town in the latest mass animal deaths sweeping the world.

The bodies of the birds, with a mysterious blue tinge to their beaks, crashed down on roofs of homes and cars in Faenza, near Ravenna in northern Italy.

For the last five days wildlife experts and officers from the forestry commission have picked up more than 1,000 turtle doves as well as other birds including pigeons.

Today alone 300 corpses were recovered with all of them having a blue tinge to their beaks which scientists say indicates poisoning or hypoxia which is lack of oxygen which can confuse animals.

The incident comes after a series of similar cases across the world in the United States and Sweden.

It is not just birds that have been affected with millions of dead fish also washing up on river banks and coastlines in Arkansas and Texas as well as in New Zealand.

The turtle dove case is the largest incident to have hit Europe so far.

In Sweden 50 jackdaws were found dead - and Italian officials said they expected results from tests on Monday.

Most of the birds have been found around an industrial estate on the outskirts of Faenza but others have also been found closer to the centre in trees and on roads and pavements.

Today Massimo Bolognesi, of the local World Wildlife Federation, said: "We first started getting reports on Sunday and since then they have been coming in every day.

"We have collected more than 1,000 turtle doves corpses but there is also the odd pigeon as well and all of them have this blue tint to their beak which could indicate poisoning or hypoxia.

"Tests are being carried out on the bodies by the local forestry commission and we should get the results next week but it's the numbers that make this such a notable event and for the moment it is a mystery."

Mr Bolognesi added that the majority of the birds had been found close to the industrial estate and especially close to a factory that produces animal feed.

He said: "To connect it to the industrial estate would be too easy - it's been there for years and although we have found the odd bird there from time to time the numbers have never been as high as this.

"There is also the possibility that they could have been affected elsewhere and just gathered here to die there could be many factors here that we just don't know about."

Mr Bolognesi added that the dead birds were also a health risk and asked people who found them in the streets not to put them in bins but to call the local authorities.

Dr Anna Mazzini, of the local forestry commission who is carrying out the tests, said: "We are carrying out tests and we will get the results next week. To link it to other cases around the world is far fetched it is just a coincidence.

"My opinion is that it is probably food poisoning which can cause the beaks to turn blue and the fact it is mainly turtle doves makes me think it is an illness or reaction specific to that breed."

Today one local newspaper covering the incident wrote: "Let's hope it is poisoning or an illness because that would be easier to deal with than it being a sign the world is coming to an end."

A genius for sale is a genius on sale, e.g. reduced worth.

IMO, Michio has gone - in a short time - from the front display window at Macy's to the special discount section at Walmart to the clearance bin at the local thrift shop. If he keeps pimping his brain for the legally insane, expect the law of diminishing returns to toss the good doctor of philosophy onto the heap in the recycling dumpster outside the thrift store. Humble opinions all around.

To cause fish death it would have to be VLF (http://www.jofamericanscience.org/journals/am-sci/am0608/52_3229am0608_413_419.pdf). EM waves do not propagate well in sea water above 30Hz. Keep an eye on earth's magnetic field in relation to the sun...

Is it just me or does anyone else find it out that all of these "mass" die-offs have been breed specific. Jackdaws, Red-winged blackbirds, Turtledoves (with the odd pidgeon - same family) American Coots (Texas) and also haven't the fish kills been breed specific?

I have no idea what it means but definitely hinky

HOWEVER, there is a very good, comprehensive article I copied from Food Freedom.com following from:
http://foodfreedom.wordpress.com/2011/01/05/fracking-arkansas/
Jan. 7 UPDATE
Missing from this report is the information that the US military apparently drilled 500 deep wells in Central Arkansas to dispose of phosgene, a highly toxic gas that causes the respiratory system to explode. (As reported below, deep well drilling causes earthquakes.) According to the EU Times, Russia’s spy agency, GRU, reported that the US relocated 63,000 metric tons of phosgene from Iraq to the Arkansas’ Pine Bluff Arsenal, the nation’s premier chemical and bio weapons lab. Some or most of this material was and continues to be relocated to Afghanistan.

The GRU report claims that while transporting the gas via a US Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft, a “malfunction” occurred in the aerial spraying system on December 30, killing 100,000 fish along a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River near Roseville. The next day, on another KC-767, again the aerial spraying system “malfunctioned” killing 5,000 blackbirds near Beebe.

According to CNN, “the birds suffered from acute physical trauma leading to internal hemorrhage and death.” A spokesperson for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission “said the birds showed evidence of trauma in the breast tissue, with blood clots in the body cavity and a lot of internal bleeding. All major organs were normal.”

Bioweapons expert John Wheeler threatened to expose the operation and, according to GRU, was killed for it.

Given this new information, I modify my thesis. I now think the Arkansas fish kill and bird kill are a result of phosgene gas, rather than fracking. All the rest of the information stands, but the news about phosgene presents a more compelling explanation for the mass kills.

Also see this global map of recent mass kills: http://coto2.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/2010-11-mass-kills1.jpg

Food Freedom

The last four months of 2010, nearly 500 earthquakes rattled Guy, Arkansas. [1] The entire state experienced 38 quakes in 2009. [2] The spike in quake frequency precedes and coincides with the 100,000 dead fish on a 20-mile stretch of the Arkansas River that included Roseville Township on December 30. The next night, 5,000 red-winged blackbirds and starlings dropped dead out of the sky in Beebe. [3] Hydraulic fracturing is the most likely culprit for all three events, as it causes earthquakes with a resultant release of toxins into the environment. [4]

A close look at Arkansas’ history of earthquakes and drilling reveals a shocking surge in quake frequency following advanced drilling. The number of quakes in 2010 nearly equals all of Arkansas’ quakes for the entire 20th century. The oil and gas industry denies any correlation, but the advent of hydrofracking followed by earthquakes is a story repeated across the nation. It isn’t going to stop any time soon, either. Fracking has gone global.

Hydraulic fracturing (fracking) pumps water and chemicals into the ground at a pressurized rate exceeding what the bedrock can withstand, resulting in a microquake that produces rock fractures. Though initiated in 1947, technological advances now allow horizontal fracturing, vastly increasing oil and gas collection. [5] In 1996, shale-gas production in the U.S. accounted for 2 percent of all domestic natural gas production, reports Christopher Bateman in Vanity Fair. “Some industry analysts predict shale gas will represent a full half of total domestic gas production within 10 years.” [6] In 2000, U.S. gas reserve estimates stood at 177 trillion cubic feet, but ramped up to 245 tcf in 2008. These new technologies prompt experts to increase global gas reserve estimates ninefold. [7]

The grid below shows a section of the Arkansas River, with Roseville Township at bottom, where the first reports of the fish kill originated. The green lines surrounding and crossing the river indicate gas pipes, ranging from 8-20” in diameter. Any number of leaks in the pipes can explain the fish kill. Gas wells are shown by yellow ‘suns’ (see red arrows) and range from 1,500 to 6,500 feet deep. (Disposal wells, where drilling waste products are injected at high pressures, go as deep as 12,000 feet.) The red numbers next to the ‘suns’ give the number of gas wells in that spot, numbering close to 50 in this small area. [8]

(The gray numbers relate to the Township Numbering System. Each square equals one square mile. Click map for larger image.)

In December alone, over 150 earthquakes rocked Arkansas. [1] The swarm of quakes in Guy likely results from six years of intense drilling. Guy sits within the Fayetteville Shale Formation which, according to the Arkansas Geological Survey (AGS), is “the current focus of a regional shale-gas exploration and development program.” A billion cubic feet of gas has been produced from this area since 2004. [9]

Thousands of wells are in operation in North-Central Arkansas (blue section of the following map). [10] Beebe, where the bird kill occurred, is in White County and Guy is at the northern end of Faulkner Co., where the anomalous earthquakes continue.

Red-winged blackbirds roost in clusters up to a million or more birds, often with other species like starlings and cowbirds. (In the 1950s and ’60s, roosts could number 20 million birds.) Blackbirds prefer low, dense vegetative cover in wetlands or near streams. Though some may perch 30 feet above the water, most perch within one to two feet of it, and some will roost with their feet resting in water. Blackbirds can range up to 50 miles a day from roost to feeding sites, but they all settle in for the night before sunset. [11]

An earthquake of whatever scale can release a stream or cloud of gas and fracking chemicals which could easily explain why sleeping birds would suddenly take flight, and then quickly die as they succumbed to the toxic fumes. Of note, eight measured quakes within 40 miles of Beebe, and within 75 miles of Roseville, hit the area on December 30 thru several minutes past midnight on January 1st. [12] This excludes any micro- or miniquakes which can have the same effect. Significantly, the area is known for its prolific microquakes — numbering 40,000 since 1982. [1]

Canadian Geologist Jack Century crusades against induced seismicity from irresponsible drilling. In a 2009 speech before the Peace River Environmental Society, he provided a brief explanation of how fracking induces earthquakes, completely refuting industry denial that fracking causes quakes. Fracking induces not only micro- and mini-seismic actions that can compromise the integrity of well casings, but also large earthquakes registering on the order of 5 to 7 on the Richter Scale, resulting in human deaths. [13]

Scott Ausbrooks, geohazards supervisor for AGS, told CNN in December that while earthquakes aren’t unusual in Arkansas, the frequency is. [14] Indeed, they’ve had a 1,200 percent increase in earthquakes over 2009 data just in the last four months of 2010. All of the quakes registered less than 3 on the Richter Scale; over 98% of them occurred near Guy, where we find the largest concentration of gas wells; and 99% occurred outside the New Madrid Fault zone (circled in red below) where seismic activity is expected, implying they are human induced [1]:

Though AGS publicly claims no earthquake relation to drilling, in early December, Arkansas banned new drilling permits until further notice.

CNN reported that “According to the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission, there are at least a half dozen ‘disposal wells’ within a 500-square-mile zone around Guy.” Ausbrooks noted similar “incidents in Colorado in the 1960s at Rocky Mountain Arsenal, where deep water injection was tied to earthquakes.” [14]
Arkansas Earthquake and Drilling History

When comparing Arkansas’ earthquake history with its drilling history, a causative correlation becomes obvious.

The entire 19th century saw 15 recorded earthquakes and none in the first decade of the new century. A total of 694 quakes rocked Arkansas in the 20th century. That number was surpassed in 2009-2010, with the bulk (483) occurring the last three months of 2010. Table 1 was prepared using complete quake data thru 2009 [15], complete data from August thru December, 2010 [1], and just North Central Arkansas quake data from January thru July, 2010. [16]

Arkla, Inc., through its many morphs, mergers and acquisitions, is and has been a key gas driller in Arkansas. Between 1975 and the early 1980s, the company found more gas than it produced. By 1982, Arkla was able to sell Central Louisiana Electric Company more than 100 million cubic feet of gas daily. By the early 1990s, it operated the sixth-largest pipeline system in the United States and was among the ten largest operators of natural gas reserves. [17] Its production timeline coincides with the massive jump in earthquakes in the 1970s and 1980s. Today, 37 companies drill for gas and oil in Arkansas. [18]
Unregulated Fracking on a Global March

The U.S. and Canada are not alone in exploiting this highly destructive technology. Poland also embraces fracking. Several energy companies are currently exploring Poland’s reserves, including Conoco-Phillips, ExxonMobil, Marathon, Chevron, Talisman, Lane Energy, BNK Petroleum, Emfesz, EurEnergy Resources, RAG, San Leon Energy and Sorgenia E&P. [19] These new technologies will significantly impact the global trade in natural gas, according to Forbes [20]:

“Poland consumes 14 billion cubic meters of gas a year and imports more than 70% of it from Russia. It is easy to see how the country could benefit from starting shale gas drilling as soon as possible. Not only could it decrease its dependency on Russia, it might even turn into a gas exporter.”

Bateman noted that Western and Central Europe have leased their lands to frackers. Australians are suffering from the same frack contaminations as Americans, and China is also exploiting the new technology. [6]

Josh Fox’s 2010 film, Gasland, documents a multitude of harmful consequences on animal and human life, as well as property values. The most infamous scene shows people able to ignite their contaminated tap water [21]:

Fox makes the point that Dick Cheney’s former company, Halliburton, lobbied for and won exemptions from the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, Superfund, and the Safe Drinking Water Act, thanks to our corporate-owned Congress.

Nor do drillers have to disclose the toxic chemicals used, contrary to the 1986 Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. [22] Though it did not hesitate to pass on Wall Street’s gambling debts to the public (twice), Congress has not found the will to pass the Fracturing Responsibility and Awareness of Chemicals (FRAC) Act.

In 2004, the Environmental Protection Agency determined that fracking poses no threat to water supplies and that no further studies were needed. [23] From some Orwellian nightmare, however, at least 65 of the chemicals used in fracking are considered hazardous by the EPA. They have been linked to “cancer; liver, kidney, brain, respiratory and skin disorders; birth defects; and other health problems,” according to a 2005 report by the Oil and Gas Accountability Project. Of primary concern to citizens, OGAP notes that “Approximately half of the water that Americans rely on for drinking comes from underground sources.” [24]

Wyoming took a proactive stance on full disclosure of fracking chemicals when it passed new rules in September. Loopholes, however, still allow companies to claim proprietary ownership of such information, restricting it from public view. [25]

Given the EPA’s position that fracking is safe, it’s not likely that Arkansas citizens will get much help from the federal government. Nor will they find a friend at the state level. The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has so far been unwilling or unable to stop UMETCO Minerals Corporation from illegally dumping toxic chemicals into streams. [26]

The same situation applies across the nation where state governments protect industry over environmental and human health. Recently, outgoing Governor David Paterson vetoed legislation that would have put a moratorium on vertical and horizontal hydraulic drilling in New York. [27] Already, Pennsylvania leases a third of its public lands to private energy drillers. [21]

Given government bias toward energy giants, and BP’s destruction of the Gulf of Mexico is a case in point, more direct action may be required by citizens, if environmental and human health are to be saved from the fossil fuel industry.

Mystery Bird Die-Off In Sonoma County

SANTA ROSA -- Days after massive bird die-offs in the south, Sonoma County officials Tuesday had a mystery of their own as more than 100 bird carcasses were discovered near Geyserville.

California Highway Patrol Officer Jon Sloat said the birds were discovered on to Independence Lane at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The California Department of Fish and Game was notified and a local warden responded. He took several of the birds away to be identified and tested by a biologist, Sloat told the San Rosa Press Democrat.

The birds all appeared to be the same species – small in size with brown and black feathers.

The incident came just days after thousands of blackbirds died in Arkansas and Louisiana. According to the National Wildlife Health Center , the birds died of unexplained blunt-force trauma.

Samples of the blackbirds were taken to the center’s Madison, Wisconsin, lab where they were examined.

"They died of impact force to their bodies," said Scott Wright, chief of disease investigations at the center.

Large bird kill reported near Geyserville

While scientists and specialists are investigating why massive numbers of birds have dropped dead from the sky elsewhere in the country, Sonoma County now has its own bird deaths mystery to solve, reported the CHP.

More than 100 birds were found dead Saturday afternoon clustered on the ground off of Highway 101, south of Geyserville, Officer Jon Sloat reported Monday.

Officers responded to Independence Lane at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday and found dozens of birds dead on and around the roadway.

The California Department of Fish and Game was notified and a local warden responded. He took several of the birds away to be identified and tested by a biologist, Sloat said.

First dead birds, then dead fish ... now crickets

The cricket paralysis virus has disrupted supplies to pet shops across North America as a handful of operators have seen millions of their insects killed.

Some operations have gone bankrupt and others have closed indefinitely until they can rid their facilities of the virus.

Cricket farms started in the 1940s as a source of fish bait, but the bulk of sales now are to pet supply companies, reptile owners and zoos, although people also eat some.

Most U.S. farms are in the South, but suppliers from Pennsylvania to California also raise crickets.

Alcohol poisoning, not avian flu, killed Romanian birds

Birds that were thought to have died from avian flu in Romania instead apparently drank themselves to death.

Residents of Constanta in eastern Romania found dozens of dead starlings on the outskirts of the city on Saturday.

They alerted authorities, fearing the birds had died from avian flu.

But local veterinary officials decided the starlings had died after eating grape 'marc' - the leftovers from the wine-making process...

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, byt RSOE has a section on their alert page called Mass Die-off: http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index2.php

They've reported 17 cases with some updates.

This is the latest from today:

Hundreds of fish have been found dead in a Manchester pond in the latest bizarre mass animal deaths. Experts say the freezing weather caused the deaths. Nature lover Stuart Hall, 60, spotted the fish in the pond on Chudleigh Close, Stockport, during a walk near his home. The 500 fish - many thought to be large bream and pike - were set in the ice on the pond. Mr Hall, of Mostyn Road, Hazel Grove, said he was worried the water may be poisoned. He said: "I was shocked, it was awful to see all that life just gone. It's like the 'birds dropping from the trees' scenario, but on a much larger scale. "When you love nature and the countryside it's heartbreaking. There is no sign of life here whatsoever - not one duck." It’s the latest in a series of strange animal deaths around the world which has claimed the lives of birds including doves, coots and starlings and several species of fish. Tony Bielderman from Stockport and District Anglers' Federation, which manages the pond, said: "We do not believe there is any pollution as such, but that this is a natural occurrence which has happened during the extremely cold weather we have suffered for a month or so. "The numbers involved are 400-500 fish - I wouldn't think it's the full stock by any means." The Environment Agency said people should contact them if they suspected fish were in trouble elsewhere. A spokesman said: "This has happened in a few places across the north west. Ice forms on the top of the water and cuts down the oxygen, causing the fish to struggle. "Lots of fishing clubs have aeration equipment which pumps oxygen into the water and sometimes we may advise that the ice is broken in some places, so that oxygen can start to be recreated under the ice."

Windfarms, submarines, giant sharks... What IS killing Britain's seals?
By David Jones
Last updated at 10:51 AM on 24th August 2010
Comments (21) Add to My Stories On a blustery August afternoon, there can be few more quintessentially English pleasures than taking a boat trip to marvel at the harbour seals basking in their summer breeding colony on the North Norfolk coast.

Last Wednesday, anorak-clad children giggled with anticipation as they clambered aboard the Seafarer, one of 10 boats that ferry holidaymakers out to the sand-flats.

Their parents were only marginally less excited.

Harsh truth: Dozens of seals have washed up dead mutilated by a macabre cutting wound
And when someone spotted the first whiskery nose, poking curiously above the slate-grey shallows, even the most blasé teenager pocketed her iPhone and gazed at the creature in wonder.

Our skipper, Jason Bean, whose family has run seal-watching tours to Blakeney Point for more than half a century, assured us the seals were just as untroubled as they appeared.

'As you can see, they don't do a lot, seals,' he remarked in his laconic East Anglian brogue, gesturing towards hundreds of brown figures lazing on the sands like a tray of gently basting sausages.

'In fact, for 90 per cent of the time they do nothing at all. Also, because they have no predators, they don't need to worry about anything. So it's not a bad life being a seal. They say it's a dog's life, but it's a seal's life, really. Very few die of stress.'

More...Mystery as 'corkscrew' kills dozens of Scottish seals

The ruddy-faced 40-year-old finished his commentary with a well-worn joke. 'They'll eat any kind of fish; even tuna...but they do struggle to open the tin."

As always, everyone laughed. But as Mr Bean later admitted to me, if he had told his 50 passengers what has really been happening to the Blakeney seals in recent months, the mood on the boat would have been more sombre. He just couldn't bring himself to do it.

For in truth this magical colony of about 600 seals is not safe at all. Something dreadful, mysterious and deeply perturbing is striking them down.

Dozens of them have been washed up dead - mutilated by a macabre cutting wound, which begins at the neck and spirals around their bodies, slicing through their thick outer coat and blubber in a continuous incision, as if they had been fed through a huge pencil-sharpener.

Another colony of about 120 seals, 300 miles up the coast in Eastern Scotland, has been similarly hit. And since this second group has already been drastically depleted in recent years, the threat there is even more serious.

Corkscrew killer: An artist's depiction of the wounds found on dead seals
In all, 52 seals have been found with this same, weirdly distinctive injury, several of them heavily pregnant females. It is feared that many more may have died without their bodies being discovered.

The number of dead seals is so alarming, and their wounds are so unusual and horrific, that Britain's top marine scientists and sea mammal experts are working with police to find the cause.

The inquiry is as thorough as a serious criminal investigation - and in fact, as it as an offence to kill seals inhumanely and without very good reason, it may turn out to be just that. But after almost two months the investigators are no nearer to finding the 'corkscrew' seal killer.

'Whatever is causing these injuries, this is a very major inquiry because the seals of North Norfolk are iconic.' Is it some sort of huge, propeller-driven boat engine? Is it a huge shark, or some heartless fisherman who regards seals as fish- devouring vermin and has devised a cruelly efficient way of eradicating them?

Then again, could it be something even stranger and more sinister - some creature or contraption as yet unimagined?

As he spends hours studying tidal flow charts and plotting movements in the busy North Sea shipping lane that runs adjacent to Blakeney Point, such questions gnaw away at Inspector Mike Brown, the Norfolk officer leading the police side of the inquiry.

'There must have been about 1,000 theories,' says the silver-haired native Channel Islander. 'I've even had people saying it's like The X Files and asking when we are going to send for Mulder and Scully . . . but sometimes science fiction becomes science fact.

'Whatever is causing these injuries, this is a very major inquiry because the seals of North Norfolk are iconic. They are important to the ecology of the area and incredibly important to the economy.'

They are indeed. It is reckoned that as many as 100,000 people each year pay Ł8 to go seal-watching and if the seals disappear, so will the tourists - which explains why Jason Bean and the other guides are so reluctant to mention the gruesome spate of deaths in their commentary.

Rather like those town councillors who ran the fictitious U.S. seaside resort of Amity Island in the film Jaws and denied the shark posed any danger, they clearly fear that speaking about the mutilations could ruin a thriving business.

'I don't see why we should go around telling people about this,' snapped Jason's father, Graham, 67, when I questioned why the tourists were being shielded from the truth.

'They haven't come here to see rotten, gutted seals. We don't want to spread doom and gloom.'

Terrible end: The number of dead seals is alarming and their wounds are very unusual and horrific
His concern is understandable. People in these parts are even beginning to draw parallels with two previous disasters that devastated the East Coast seal population - the outbreaks of phocine distemper virus (PDV) which killed thousands in 1988 and 2002.

'I was 18 when the first virus broke out but I'll never forget it,' said Jason. 'We had over 1,000 seals here in 1988 and afterwards there were just 250.

'Their immune systems failed and they were sneezing, and they couldn't dive. They'd float for a while, then just die and float ashore.

'There were so many that they had to fetch a mechanical digger to dig a mass-grave. That virus was a mystery, too.

'We aren't anywhere near that yet, but it is very worrying.'

This latest seal crisis actually dates back to the summer of 2008, when the first two carcasses were found near the Firth of Forth, but at the time their distinctive wounds were dismissed as some freak occurrence.

Since then, however, a further 12 corpses have been beached in Scotland, and 38 in Norfolk, all in a circumference of about a mile on Blakeney Point.

Mr Brown believes the true toll in Norfolk could be double that number.

'With an ordinary propeller there would be damage to the ribs, but here it’s as if the skin and flesh have been peeled off in a spiral.' Dave Wood, National Trust head warden for the Norfolk coast, says: 'One was washed up a year-and-a-half ago, but the majority have been found by our site wardens in the past few months.

'We had a spell at the end of June, early July, when we were finding one every day or two for a couple of weeks. It is distressing to find any dead seal, but their injuries were gruesome.'

The latest seal was found last week and as with the others, it was sent for an autopsy. Bob Reid, a scientist from the Scottish Agricultural College's Veterinary Laboratory in Inverness, who has conducted five of the post-mortem examinations, says he has never seen anything remotely like this in his 18-year career.

‘We are at a total loss to understand what’s happened to these seals,’ he told the Mail.

‘These were healthy animals with good blubber thickness.

‘The most striking thing is that there are no fractures of the bones. With an ordinary propeller there would be damage to the ribs, but here it’s as if the skin and flesh have been peeled off in a spiral.

‘People initially wondered if this was man-made with a knife, but it would be impossible to reproduce what’s happening.

‘Our first thought was that somebody somewhere must have known that they’ve done this. These animals are pretty big — 100kg or 220lb — and even aboard a big vessel
you’d see, feel or hear something. There’d be quite a thump and there may even be damage to the equipment. I’m absolutely confident it’s not a shark — this has to be a mechanical device of some sort.’

One of Britain’s leading seal experts, Dr David Thompson, who is heading inquires for the Sea Mammal Research Unit, agrees — although he concedes that he and his co-investigators could be inhibited by ‘the limits of our imagination’.

In danger: The very lifestyle of the seal is being threatened after a large number have been washed up with horrific injuries
He feels reasonably confident that the injuries are being caused by some type of big ducted propeller — that is, one inside a casing — and that it either sucks the seals in or arouses their natural curiosity so that they actively swim towards it.

‘Seals are not stupid,’ he says.

‘They are as intelligent and trainable as dogs, so you would expect them to sense danger, and for some reason they aren’t in this case.

‘That’s the flaw in the propeller argument. It’s quite hard to say why they would swim towards that.’

Even if this theory proves correct, he adds, it will be a big jump to identify the precise device, much less locate it. For ducted propellers are found on any number of seagoing vessels, from ferries to supply boats and rigs plying the East Coast.

At all events, with a policeman’s caution, Inspector Brown believes it is far too early to focus on any device at the exclusion of all else.

One theory he has been exploring is that the seals’ skin was peeled away by something called an Azimuth Drive engine, which rotates at high speed and is fitted to the corners of huge rigs and heavy lifting vessels.

One such rig — a 300ft tall contraption called the HLV Svanem — just so happens to be stationed a few miles off Blakeney Point, where it is being used to install the platforms for a controversial new wind farm that will supply energy to 220,000 homes.

Gotcha! Or at least that’s what many people thought. But then they remembered the rig appeared on the horizon only last March, months after the first seal was washed ashore.

‘It would take two people just to lift one, and their blubber is so thick that I don’t know how it could be done by hand, even if you get near them.’ Its operators also say the huge engines are used only when it is moving to different locations, and this one has been fixed in position for months.

Its Azimuth engines are also surrounded by shields designed to ward away sea mammals, though according to Inspector Brown they do not provide complete protection.

Statoil, the Norwegian energy company that will operate the wind farm, insists it is not to blame.

‘We have checked our rigs and vessels, and so have the police, and so far nothing has been found that has caused these terrible injuries,’ said a spokesman.

Another device that Inspector Brown has examined is an Archimedes Screw, which looks like a giant pasta twirl and swivels inside a casing, sucking in water to create hydro-electricity.

‘Looking at the seals’ injuries, this seemed a prime suspect,’ he says.

‘There’s only one problem — we’ve checked through local council records and there aren’t any in the area. The same goes for tidal generators.’

What, then, of the theory that the wounds were caused by huge, razor-sharp teeth?

Again, the notion has been explored but doesn’t stand up — and the post mortem results categorically rule out the involvement of sharks.

Inspector Brown has also pondered the chilling possibility that the seals were sliced from neck to tail by humans, but says: ‘It would take two people just to lift one, and their blubber is so thick that I don’t know how it could be done by hand, even if you get near them.’

How about a submarine? Perhaps a military one operating secretly off the coast?

Again, the officer has mulled it over. But even several miles out in the shipping lane, at around 60ft deep the water is probably too shallow for one of sufficient size to do this kind of damage.

Moreover, it seems likely — though not certain — that the seals are being killed quite close to the sand-flats, because they wash ashore within a few hours and are invariably found ‘fresh’, before scavengers begin to peck at them.

And so the theories roll on. Quite often, Inspector Brown works late into the evening — without claiming overtime — to wrestle with them; and on Wednesday he was out on the shore at midnight to collect two more seal carcasses.

This time, mercifully, they appeared to have died naturally.

Is he confident the great seal mystery will soon be resolved? ‘No,’ he says candidly.

‘But I’m determined to keep trying, because only when we know the cause of this can we begin to negate it.

‘You just can’t imagine North Norfolk without its seals, and if this carries on they could all disappear. I certainly don’t want to be sitting here when that happens, because history would judge me harshly.’

Dramatic words, but then, as thousands of holidaymakers have discovered this summer, there is something about the seal that stirs the soul. Let’s hope they are saved quickly from the

I think you should study the video in this article more closely:

http://www.todaysthv.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=137071&provider=top

It’s not magnetic fields nor weather, but a stationary phenomenon at 1500 feet above the ground.
It also seemed to appear periodically within a limited timeframe.
The male commentator seems a bit stressed while he explained what it is NOT. It is “a non specific target” which does not move together with other weather patterns.

Watch the video!

The most telling picture is not shown in the video,
but has been placed in plain sight behind the commentator.
It looks like a solid object, because the radar signature is so pronounced. The screen behind the woman makes it all clear:

http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/4521/radar0.jpg (http://img97.imageshack.us/i/radar0.jpg/)

It is a huge elongated triangle, with straight sides and sharp corners, surrounded by something which looks like a shockwave:

http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/194/radar0crop1.jpg (http://img822.imageshack.us/i/radar0crop1.jpg/)

This “shockwave” might be responsible for the death of the birds, either directly or indirectly.
I do not think that a HAARP impulse will have that particular initial signature.
Whether this particular killing is just a side-effect of another huge operation, or whether it is been intentionally staged is the question.

Maybe it is a false flag on Nature to boost doomsday prophets and theories?

Maybe a trial run of the Alien false flag?

In any case the real cosmic fireworks might start very soon…

Antimatter caught streaming from thunderstorms on Earth

http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/50740000/jpg/_50740469_50740468.jpg

A space telescope has accidentally spotted thunderstorms on Earth producing beams of antimatter.

Such storms have long been known to give rise to fleeting sparks of light called terrestrial gamma-ray flashes.

But results from the Fermi telescope show they also give out streams of electrons and their antimatter counterparts, positrons.

The surprise result was presented by researchers at the American Astronomical Society meeting in the US.

It deepens a mystery about terrestrial gamma-ray flashes, or TGFs - sparks of light that are estimated to occur 500 times a day in thunderstorms on Earth. They are a complex interplay of light and matter whose origin is poorly understood.

Thunderstorms are known to create tremendously high electric fields - evidenced by lightning strikes.

Electrons in storm regions are accelerated by the fields, reaching speeds near that of light and emitting high-energy light rays - gamma rays - as they are deflected by atoms and molecules they encounter.

These flashes are intense - for a thousandth of a second, they can produce as many charged particles from one flash as are passing through the entire Earth's atmosphere from all other processes.

are they using Thorium to produce clouds?

The release produced a Punch hole in the cloud? What if you were a bird flying below this energy release?

what happens when the release is downward? or isn't that possible?

Could this be the reason why many UFO's are attracked by thunderstorms....?

A space telescope has accidentally spotted thunderstorms on Earth producing beams of antimatter.

More like accidentally on purpose...

371 dead birds fell from the sky over Los Angeles, California, and hit the pavement at Sunset and Cahuenga. In the great shadow of the CNN building laid scattered hundreds of pigeons, most of them dead. This
is another incident of dead birds falling from the sky, as has been seen in California, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Sweden, Italy, and other places around the world.

If today's dead bird incident had been a singular event, we could have blamed Los Angeles smog. 371 birds could no longer take the poor air quality and decided to choke and fall.

750 African Greys die on Durban flight

Durban - More than 750 African Grey parrots worth about R2m died on a flight from Johannesburg to Durban.

The news has caused shock waves among conservationists, bird breeders and those involved in the aviation industry. The parrots died on December 24 on a flight operated by 1time.

Dr Steve Boyes, director of the organisation World Parrot Trust Africa, said steps should be taken to ensure that something like this never happens again.

The parrots were part of an order of 1 650 adult African Greys which were caught in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to be sold to South African breeders.

Ben Moodie, a well-respected Boksburg lawyer, alleges the birds were to be imported for his business Iceland Industrial Projects. He said he was only informed of the birds' fate on December 29.

"At the OR Tambo quarantine the birds were fine and I was informed that on arrival at King Shaka they were dead. I can understand a few casualties along the route, it happens. (But) this doesn't gel and I can only satisfy myself if they show me the carcasses," a distraught Moodie told The Witness.

Altogether 800 of these parrots were imported to South Africa in November. A further 850 are still being held in the DRC, ready to be brought to South Africa.

Pelicans turn up sick, dead off Jacksonville coast

By JUSTIN SACHAROFF

The Times-Union

Hundreds of Eastern brown pelicans, some with missing wings and frostbite, have been injured or killed in the St. Johns River the past couple of weeks in the Mayport area.

The exact reason is unknown but the cold weather could have caused hypothermia when the birds landed in the water. The pelicans have been losing a protective coating they have on their body to shield their feathers from becoming saturated by water.

Cindy Mosling, co-founder of the Bird Emergency Aid and Kare Sanctuary on Big Talbot Island, thinks chemicals in the water could be the culprit.
Mosling and her team, which consists of her husband and their only employee, Jose Gutierrez, have been capturing the sick birds for a more than a week when they fly to an open feeding area at their facility.

They spot the weak ones and bring them in to be cleaned, warmed and fed.

The sanctuary, known as BEAKS, has about 20 sick pelicans huddled inside a tentlike heated room that are being cared for as more injured pelicans show up.
Without their protective coating, Mosling said the pelicans have no shield from the cold water.
“How would you feel if someone put a wet blanket over you and made you sit outside in the cold?” she said.

Mosling has seen at least 20 dead pelicans so far. Karen Parker of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said 15 pelicans were found dead Sunday but couldn’t explain the reason.
Bobby Taylor, president of the Florida Open Beaches Foundation, said he hasn’t seen anything that would point to chemical contaminants in the water. But the cold could be taking its toll.
“This is the coldest water I’ve seen in awhile,” Taylor said.

Mosling said this has been happening to the birds for 30 years and cites aqueous film-forming foam as the root of the pelicans losing their protective coating.

USDA admits role in large bird kill

When birds began mysteriously falling from the sky a couple of weeks ago, some conspiratorial minds were convinced that the government was involved. One line of speculation held that the Pentagon was conducting a secret weapons experiment that killed the birds. Another theorized that the feds were covering up the air-befouling practices of a major player in agribusiness or the energy industry.

Now we know that the government did have a hand in at least one of the kills, though this revelation doesn't seem to involve sinister intrigue.

Yes, the Agriculture Department said Thursday, it did have a hand in the recent mass killing of starlings in South Dakota. According to the USDA, the birds were poisoned in Nebraska to help farmers who had complained about starling flocks defecating into livestock feed troughs. The birds dropped dead en masse after migrating north.

According to the Christian Science Monitor:

"The USDA's Wildlife Services Program, which contracts with farmers for bird control, said it used an avicide poison called DRC-1339 to cull a roost of 5,000 birds that were defecating on a farmer's cattle feed across the state line in Nebraska. But officials said the agency had nothing to do with large and dense recent bird kills in Arkansas and Louisiana.

"Nevertheless, the USDA's role in the South Dakota bird deaths puts a focus on a little-known government bird-control program that began in the 1960s under the name of Bye Bye Blackbird, which eventually became part of the USDA and was housed in the late '60s at a NASA facility. In 2009, USDA agents euthanized more than 4 million red-winged blackbirds, starlings, cowbirds, and grackles, primarily using pesticides that the government says are not harmful to pets or humans."

Surely this news will calm all the "aflockalypse" hysteria out there, right? Oh, who are we kidding: Any sign of federal involvement will be seized on as another layer in the elaborate cover-up. This is the Internet, after all

Seals dying in
one of UKs biggest breeding grounds (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1355339/Seal-sickness-strikes-UK-breeding-grounds-Vets-treat-double-usual-number.html)

Dr Dave Thompson, marine scientist at the Sea Mammal Research Unit at St Andrews University, added: ‘If it was disease it would have been obvious by now.

‘It is possible there is something else happening at sea that we don’t know about.’

No-one knows what is causing these deaths, Does Anyone in the UK know if this is related to environmental issues, or is it another possible anomaly due to scalar weapons or the like??

Wonder if the Daily Mail will look into the possibility of this being a result of a HAARP weapon testing ?

Agreed on the Daily Mail, or well any UK paper actually. This is really strange, of all things Seals? Definitely weird things going on right now with the birds, fish and seals. Any predictions on the next random bunch of animals to die strangely?

I'm hoping not, but gut instinct (first thing that came into my head) is penguins.

Rotorua NZ

What killed hundreds of dead birds found on a Rotorua central city street? Nobody seems to know.

Rotorua mother Glyssa Bosworth was walking down Amohau St this week when her 1-year-old daughter pointed out a bird on the ground.

Then she saw a few more.

"I could smell something absolutely horrific," Miss Bosworth told The Daily Post.

Astral Walker on the video on the Enlightenment: Ego what is it? thread in spiritual section, talks about a massive band of magnetic energy coming in to the our area of the Cosmos, it is already creating climate change here and on all the planets.
Basically we, birds and animals are greatly affected by magnetism. The birds are more sensitive than us an probably flew in to a burst of this energy.

he talks a bout UFO's as well which may be true but the main thing is what the energy can do.
David Seraden also brilliant Coast to Coast talk talk on the thread as is Nassim Haramein further back

Seemingly this energy has the power to change DNA so David Wilcock may not be that far out.
More and more scientist are talking about this energy.
NASA producing picture of it. Its real.

Have a look on the thread.

Second year in a row :

Blackbirds have fallen dead from the sky in a central Arkansas town for the second New Year's Eve in a row.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Thousands of dead blackbirds rained down on a town in central Arkansas last New Year's Eve after revelers set off fireworks that spooked them from their roost, and officials were reporting a similar occurrence Saturday as 2012 approached.

Police in Beebe said dozens of blackbirds had fallen dead, prompting officers to ban residents from shooting fireworks Saturday night. It wasn't immediately clear if fireworks were again to blame, but authorities weren't taking a chance.

Prior to this New Year's Eve, Ballew said he wouldn't be surprised if people sit out on their front porches in case the winged creatures fall from the sky again.
