I just found this thread through a search to see whether this article had been posted before. I just read it after taking a link elsewhere and I thought it deserved a bump to the top again!

I had long since dismissed the 'science' of the hot fusion lovers before reading the revelation in this article that Carter gave an executive order to suppress technology that had been developed, and fully tested, that could make a hot fusion facility fully 100% efficient. Now, and I suppose from reading the Wade Frazier thread I shouldn't be surprised, I find out that even with hot fusion we could have achieved free-energy - or as cheap as to practically be free energy.

I'm getting the feeling that the bubble is going to burst on the 'free-energy is a myth' maxim and I feel very privileged to be here on Earth to witness.
