The first time I seen this. You know it really is crazy. The rabbit hole keeps going deeper and deeper......

I tried it two ways. One, direct, so now they have my ip, which they have had for a long time.

It tried to do it through ixquick and that took a very long time, comparatively speaking.... to load, for I don't think they wanted to allow connection until they had the originating ip.

http://ixquick.com/

Use the PROXY search at ixquick.

the other alternative search engine is:

https://startingpage.com/

same there, IIRC.

However, how secure they are is a big question. The reality is that nothing is really secure, that's jut an an illusion.

The question is who owned and created the re-direct to NSA.

It is sure to put quite a few curious web surfer's IP's on the NSA doorstep, isn't it?

So don't search this page/adress/link... unless you want NSA to have your IP, with regard to direct connections and your internet behavior.

When I open up ixquick.com another window opened up to nsa.gov. That's pretty strange.

ixquick always opens separate windows and leaves your original search results as a separate item, so you can go back and continue to explore potential links....but still explore the opened link via proxy.

ok, I must have pasted itanimulli.com which is being redirected to nsa.gov as a joke. At least that is what this page claims.

Hi guys,

This is nothing big really... You can register a domain and, use it to redirect to any website you desire... Easy to do...

Abraço,

Too late for me, I'm afraid. Already searched this page.

The disturbing implication here is AI analysis of the collected data. I'm not to concerned about what NSA knows about me, but what their super computers might know.

Interesting times....

The site has been knocking about for a few years. By all accounts it was some young lad playing a joke. But you never know.

Hello,

This has been posted on Avalon a couple of times and is a simple domain redirect that anybody can do for a couple of bucks per year. (so really cheap). It does not mean anything :)

If you trace the IP's and domains you'll see it is only a joke redirect. You can make a truth4me.com website to redirect to google.com for example.
Here is the information about NSA :

2 domain name servers dsux-gh1-uea01.nsa.gov [63.239.67.5] and dsux-gh1-uea03.nsa.gov [63.239.67.7] owned by the NSA
nsa.gov redundant ip addresses = 12.120.166.8 , 12.120.172.8 leased to NSA

**************************************************************************************************** **
Here is the information about itanimulli.com :

Registered through GODADDY.COM, some little prick paid $15 for this name and used Godaddy's name servers = NS45.DOMAINCONTROL.COM and NS46.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
itanimulli.com IP is = 64.202.189.170

**************************************************************************************************** *********************************************

About NSA having your IP nothing to worry about, they have thousands of IP's per day to look at hehe especially from someone like me who changes it often.
Second, it's only information website, nobody cares really about your IP unless you send denial of service attacks.

that was my point. who did the redirect, and why.

We can say it is a kid who did it -------- but the effect remains the same.

Your IP is on the NSA doorstep and the data and where you came from, is logged.

With regard to NSA data collection, the effect is the same, no matter who did it, so the question remains, who is the supposed kid or prick?

To me it seems someone who wants to make a joke.
I mean you can do that if you want, and you will also log everyone's IP that visits. Every single website in the world logs IP entries.

I googled "itanimulli hoax" and this site came up as the first result: http://arthurgoldwag.wordpress.com/2010/01/17/itanimulli/

Arthur Goldwag, the author of the site, claims a computer geek from Utah named John Fenley redirected the site.

Funny :)
Have a look at the original itanimulli.com = http://64.202.189.170

It doesn't really take a geek to redirect his website to some other. It's a very simple service and best part is .... you can make even the name itanimulli.com to still appear while you browse the redirected NSA site for example.
