To help balance out some of the negatives going around so freely; the doom and the gloom, I wanted to share this with you. To celebrate the debut of a New Star, my three-week old kitten, Shasta.

Her adoring fans are Noah, Wren, Sophie, Jesse James and Jewel.

Here is a peek into the Royal Nursery. When I am not posting on Avalon, I am doing serious and strenuous work like this at home. Just sharing the joy ; )

Much love! xoxox

AWWWW..adorable!!!! I have 5 cats, and would have 5 more if I could. They are such loving, giving souls. Mine are not independant though, they are all lap, love seeking creatures, that would rather be in someones arms, than alone napping. The epitome' of unconditional love. Congrats on your new family member. Hugs

Thanks for sharing that Darla. She's beautiful and so are all your other cats. As you might be able to tell from my avatar I also have a big soft spot in my heart for kitties.

Not to hijack the thread or take anything away from the star Shasta but I wanted to share this story I just came across that is another example of what wonderful creatures cats are. I know you as well as other cat lovers will appreciate it.
