FYI:
"A bestselling Russian author says the United States orchestrated the September 11 attacks, adding that Washington is behind numerous acts of terrorism in the world.
In an interview with the Russian weekly Argumenti I Fakti, Nikolai Starikov said the US was behind all the crises and wars of the past century and said he was certain that 9/11 was a US conspiracy.
Starikov stated that the recent US allegation claiming that Tehran was involved in a plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington is another example of the US policy of destabilizing other countries.
Washington sustains its global hegemony through sowing as much discord as possible in other countries, the Russian author said.
He asked how anyone could take seriously the allegations of a country that accused Saddam Husain of possessing weapons of mass destruction but never found anything.
Starikov added that the US needs global shocks to prevent its economy from melting down.
The Russian scholar noted that only collaboration among Russia, China, and Europe in a unified front can prevent another economic debacle like the 2008 economic recession.
Others have to suffer for the US to prosper, he added."
