Hello,
I think there are lots of theories floating around regarding what will and will not happen in the near future. I think it could be a good idea to start threads for each theory, starting the title with the 'THEORY' word, and clearly stating on the opening post the main assumptions of the theory. Then we could discuss each theory knowing clearly what we are talking about. I am considering a few theories and I am open to consider new ones, and this could certainly help me.
An example could be:
THEORY just pole reversal in 2012
Assumptions:
* a reversal of the magnetic poles will happen in 2012
* no ascension (no superwave, changes to dna, raise of consciousness, etc)
Evidence/rumors to support it
* underground bases being built
* biblical flood myth
* it has happened in the past many times and more time than usual has passed since last reversal
* magnetic activity from the sun could induce it
What could happen:
* changes in the rotation of the earth leading to displacements of the crust and quakes and tsunamis.
