Me and my brother have a very close relationship. He has been staying at my house since Thanksgiving for the sake of family gatherings as he lives in northern California and the rest of the family in Southern Ca. Also, I've been sick with the flu for the past 3 days.

Now with the context out of the way... yesterday while he and I were hanging out, watching TV, I started feeling unwell from the flu so I told him I was going to go lay down a for while. As I lay down in bed, I realized I had locked my bedroom door by habit and I knew my brother would likely try to come into my bedroom to check on me only to find the door locked. I didn't want him to feel bad that I locked him out, but at that point I didn't have the energy to get up to unlock it again... so I just went to sleep.

After what seemed to be about an hour I woke up to the rattling sound of the door handle as my brother tried to open it before realizing its locked, and he shouted to me in a joking manner "hey why is your door locked? you shouldn't be watching porn when you have the flu". I told him I'm still feeling sleepy and to give me one more hour.

So I went back to sleep for what I would guess to be another hour and this time I was awakened by my brother opening the door to my room and peaking his head in to check on me. I looked at him and he said "I didn't mean to wake you, I just wanted to turn your light off. Go back to sleep". He quickly turned off the light and left the room closing the door behind him. As this happened I was in a state of total confusion and couldn't understand what had just happened, so I immediately started to reconcile my memories and try to figure out if I had been dreaming any of it.

There was no way I would be going back to sleep after this, so I got out of bed and asked my brother how he managed to unlock my bedroom door. He looked at me like I'm crazy and told me it wasn't locked. I replied that I was sure it was locked and I distinctly remember he had tried to come in once before when he told me not to watch porn while I'm sick. His answer to this was that the flu is giving me some really wacky dreams because none of that took place... although he found it hilarious that my dream version of him gave me the same advice he would have had he found the door locked.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I concede that the part in blue may have been an extremely vivid dream. But this doesn't account for the fact that I absolutely know that I locked the door when I went to bed. The two thoughts that went through my mind before I fell asleep the first time were about having locked my brother out of the room and leaving the light on....but feeling too lazy to do anything about it.

That is yesterday's story. Today I found a $20 bill in my jacket pocket where there shouldn't be one. My money is always folded in a magnetic money clip and I absolutely never have loose cash in my pockets.

Soooooooooo...... in my mind, there can only be two explanations... either I am certifiably insane or I have experienced an altered time line. I haven't yet come across any other unusual things.

I'd say certifiably insane. Join the club. It's happening all over. In fact, worldwide.
Now we can all talk about time lines and stuff, while pretending to be sane. They can't lock us all up, not enough space.
About the other 'unusual things'......not long now.....
Just take some Vitamin C for that flu....

Pretending to be sane is half the fun!

Would you mind elaborating on what you mean about it happening world wide?

I'm far too insane to elaborate. Besides I have STML (short term memory loss)
so I can't even remember writing the above.
Anyway, your concerns should be directed at your own health right now,
not what might be happening world-wide.
Sending you healing energies now.
Pretending to be sane is half the fun, and letting insanity hang out is the other half.

Letting insanity hang out ~ is the whole gig here. If this is the worst of your problems G.A., you are lucky indeed!

Go back to sleep. In our sleep we are working out our next moves and we have up close and personal Celestial assistance.

So, Dream on... xoxoxo

It's funny you should post that, as I have had almost EXACTLY the same experience and come to EXACTLY the same conclusion when I was much younger.

In my case, I was walking to my ISP to pay my internet bill back in 1999 or so. I had just got out about 40 dollars and purchased a jar of coffee from a supermarket in town. One minute I was lining up at the cash register to with cash in hand to pay for my item, the next I was at the enterance of the office block in which the ISP in question had it's offices - no cash in hand or in wallett, holding a shopping bag with my coffee in it. Somewhere along the way I had lost the 40 dollars I was going to use to pay my internet bill, along with about 10 minutes of my life, as I had no recollection of paying for my coffee (though I must have, as it was in a plastic shopping bag and the lady at the checkout would have said something if I had walked off without paying)! Except the money was not anywhere to be found, and when I went back to the shop to see if I had left the money on the counter when I had picked up my coffee, but they said I didn't. Like you, I was sick with the flu at the time. I have never had an episode of "missing" time like it before nor since, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I had "switched timelines".

So you're not the only one, but I can't provide an explanation mind you....

You may have just lost some time. This can happen to anyone who comes within reach of relatively potent metaphysical energy (from within or without). I don't know about switching timelines myself, as I always figured that whatever timeline you experience is the one you decided to experience. I do know, however, that cognition is the governing force of experience. If a sudden change in one's cognition is to occur, they might experience a drastic (or minor, depending on the severity of the shift in cognition) "change" in the way they experience reality. The most important thing to do at this point (physical health is symptomatic of spiritual health, not causal) is just to pay very, very close attention.

It's happening more often than people dare to talk about. I've gone through some of those episodes every now and then.
