I could go on and on and on forever about false perception in the Beauty industry, but I think instead of the rant, just watch this video - especially recommended for the younger girls who look at magazines while they stand with their Mother in line at the Grocery store check-out -- as they are bombarded with magazine perfecto images plastered all over the place -- and wonder why the hell they dont look like that?
Its something I always knew of being in the industry myself, and close friends of mine who have also modeled feel if not worse of themselves, because they knew that girl in the final product was not them. Hows that for a kick in the face? You alone arent beautiful enough -- it takes hours of doctoring your face up until you reach A.I. status!
Happily - I feel the desire, respect, and attractive qualities of the o'natural is coming back in full force -- as energies shift, Im noticing a true brightness in people's faces -- one that Photoshop can never simulate. A raw, ancient beauty, that twinkle behind the eye, and depth that leads into the soul of another. An earthy indescribable beauty hit with a spark of the divine.
Im truly happy to say goodbye to the old paradigm -- it's time for sunkissed skin and no chance for make-up to end up on your lovers pillowcase after a wonderful night ;) And for the men -- there is nothing more sexy than some stubble on your face with a head full of gel-less messy hair - the GQ look is done (yawn).
Enter the original sexy human!

ps: Im not saying wearing makeup is bad, or hair gel -- Rather im addressing to be comfortable being both with and without. it is something I feel is imperative to self-love, self-honor, and self-respect. Sure its fun to get dressed up, but not right to completely erase when we are dressed down from reality. We are only seeing one side of who we are, and if we cant love the other side being natural - then - well -- we'll just keep playing this game until we get it.
