Nothing special by our Avalon terms :alien: but I find this invention quite interesting.

Levitate your way to work, avoid trafic, go and quickly help someone a couple of miles distance from you. It operates on fuel, weights 250lbs, its range is 31.5 miles, is estimated to cost around$100,000. It is currently only allowed as a recreational vehicle, for civil defence and for military purposes, However - "it is not inconceivable that at some stage in the future commuting via jetpack may become a reality. The FAA Highways in the Sky project is being developed to provide flight paths for this."

Thanks Limor!!

This thing should be the most most cool thing ever to fly around!!

I wish I could give it a try!

I just hope it to have an integrated parachute, just in case it runs out of fuel! :)

Cheers,

Raf.

Thanks for this Limor. Better if it ran on greener energy. But I am sure there are prototypes just waiting for mass assembly that will blow our minds even further.

Ha ha Raf, We share the same thoughts!

P.S

were you also thinking how this incredible flyover can ruin your hair style? just kidding.

I would love to see those work on free energy, than the future would really 'Be here' .

But can you imagine the crowd?
Seriously. :)

I know NeverMind :)

All in All this is not such a futuristic invention! after all - we are all familiar with chitty chitty bang bang (1968)

I guess we could ask Ian Fleming to invent something that keep the hair neat and tidy after a flyover,to avoid unnecessary crises

The real question, though, is what about traffic signs, where will they post them? -

This hairdo totally deserves to be "quoted", so that nobody misses it! : )))

Right!
Oh, I suppose it wouldn't be too far-fetched to think of some sensors that could be incorporated into the vehicle itself, so that it senses other vehicles and their movement....

But I still think teleportation - with no other vehicle but our bodies - would be the coolest thing. :-)

Fancy one, NeverMind? :-) I am sure it is possible to arrange something with the hair, But the EARS will be really hard to imitate.

(God,I appologise for anyone besides NeverMind and myself reading this excuse of a thread, I feel like getting silly today, tomorrow I promiss to go back and be more present in my left side of the brain)

I guess some sensors like the ones you mentioned exist somewhere on the galaxy, However,I will not rule out that us, earthly beings, will be creative and find ways to have accidents anyway :) -an earth specialty!

O.k, done

~ Good night ~
