Hi all,

Another dot to connect in regards to Bill Wood.

http://www.chacha.com/topic/special-forces/quiz/235/could-you-make-it-onto-seal-team-six%3F

I have tried to keep up with all this information but I just don't have the time. So if this has already been posted, my apologies. There was mention that this group doesn't exist. As always we will never truly know.

Regards

I could be wrong here, but I seem to remember that it was SEAL team 9 that he claimed to be a member of...not 6 (unless my laptop was upside down of course :p)

Connecting dots, producing dotted lines, fraudsters arise offering detours and distraction fed by exploits, escalated by the weaker part of the alternative community, unwittingly victimized utilizing limping discernment and narrow perspective, substantiating exponential groundwork supporting the fraudsters next scam.

The volume of nonsense promoted around the net is really obnoxious.

I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with Bill Wood?

Hello WM !

BW/WB claimed he was a member of SEAL team 9.
There is much debate about whether there is a team 9.
Apparently, there is currently an investigation of his claims under the Stolen Valour act.

Seal team six exists and thatīs no secret.

BW claimed to be part of Seal Team Nine, which we canīt be sure to exist or not.

Cheers,

Raf.

Easy to answer, there is no Seal Team 9 unless it is a secret Team!

But there is an 8 and a 10. So why no 9? Leon's Wiki link takes you to a paragraph that says, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10" Go further down the page to the big graph and there it is explained what happened to 6, but no mention of 9 at all. Obviously, it's VERY secret. Or they just don't know how to count.

Apparently Seal Team 9 is still secret. Read this thread at "their" (not official US Navy though) forum it is old but anyway: http://www.navyseals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=204373
The last post: "There are units we do not discuss ~ this is one of them. Thread Closed." says it all...

I thought that too, until I read how the teams are numbered. That explains why there is a team 10 but no team 9.

The teams are split between the East Coast and West Coast of the United States. The odd-numbered teams fall under the command of Naval Special Warfare Group One and are based on the West Coast in Coronada, CA. The even numbered teams are under the command of Naval Special Warfare Group Two and are based on the East Coast in Little Creek, VA.
