Heh heh, beer is for wimps and I love the comedy/tragedy face. As for the singing, with this band in the house, who needs 10,000 bottles of beer on the wall?

Dear Songs,

I haven't read the whole thread, but most of it. Seems to me that you have
the makings of a book, that would be most intriging. You are an amazing
women! How do you find time to write, especially with 7 kids? Or is this your
outlet from the real world? Keep up the good work!

Thanks,

Here we have yet another in a recent series of outstanding posts from Songs. Meaningful, thought provoking, from the heart, intense ... the kind of a post that could actually be a life changer for someone. Something that kings and queens have paid their ransoms for.

Agree Agree Calz.

...

There have been some hushed whispers among the Patrons :gossip:

Could our beloved hostess be falling victim to the virus??? :fear:

Some sort of madness setting in???

Patrons have parted with too much gold-plated latinum to travel across the Universe only to come face to face with a thread going dramatically ...

We have lost our way ... fallen from our path.

We must find a way to get back to our roots or we will have a riot at the Pub.

Calz, I think Songs is just morphing, is all. There is promise in this ..

I have two left at home, who are feral and free range unschoolers, as were the others at various times. Six left living, my wildest horse, the eldest, was killed in a single car accident in 2010. All my children are fierce, intelligent and individual, I don't parent in the traditional sense.

A book? I have the attention span of a goldfish, so I'm making a film instead. And if I can ever get off skype, I'll get this audio about the Anunnaki/Anun done. See how I go with this tonight- once I've sufficiently contributed to the rioting going on in other parts of the Pub, heh heh heh...

Are you wanting an introduction?

The Compassionate Dancer appears in form to manifest Compassion Dancing -- the natural act which liberates all squealing beings -- already suspecting there are no such beings, nor substantially irredeemable bundles of interdependent thought, nor humorous yet incomprehensibly complex and yet simultaneously empty-of-any-meaning-type objects existing or not, not even giving it a second thought!

Hey, it’s all so palpably fine, so just on-the-cusp-of-the-rapture sort of mudra, nothing to be freed or finagled if truth be told – interpretations on perceptions poignantly strung together like provocatively incandescent costumes along a frayed imaginary clothesline called “I” -- a punch-line drunks are fond of employing to hike themselves up when the richer-souled Grand Crus from the library of unresolved memory threaten their transient sobriety.

Really, it’s why most folk prefer the day, the light seems clear, lawful and expeditious, yet squirming in the burgundy velvet sleeve of night, no one is quite so sure; in the dark, things filed as figured out may become more subtly intriguing yet, more mysterious and perhaps . . . confounding –

the calculated formula suddenly eluding its validity, the orderly procession of images creeping to a stand-still, a weakness in the knees of chance, an opportunity for immobility to express itself as cerebral-spinal fluid, luminous as a lava lamp, lazy lit bubbles of itself slowly floating to the surface like a ceremony of angler fish gracefully exceeding their warranty, their compassionate caresses waking sleepers in diaphanous water worlds we have no names for, nor forwarding address for that thing we sense but can’t say, because to do so would only add something superfluous to this moment, even now slipping quietly off the page, out the door, and on to the endless Party . . .

Weeee – it’s a Tango Party tonight at the Brut Noir Ballroom of Melodious Extinction!

It’s a dance of lyrical tantra, life caressed to moody melody in the footsteps of the Compassionate One, carved in stop-action feint of yin/yang lovers' embrace -- Sistine Chapel's touched fingers slinking slyly down the ceiling sides, calling seduction's bluff, perfuming the glides and small quick steps, slides, the guise, where love plays hide and seek with itself –

sleek combed hair, a sneer, the faux leer of passionate indifference spiraling to a clipped closed flair, a promenade, the sudden clutch and wheel into an open whirl-away, a spot lunge, the counting, flames mounting, opposites dissolving in one shuddering glance, entranced, irresistible advance, bon chance, hot crush become intoxicating swoon, not even any dancers, only dancing in a moon’s romance with night, the Compassionate One, and all of us just dancing, dancing, dancing for dear life!

*looks over at you with dark and shining eyes*

You know, don't you, that's its your love of speaking from and into the infinite nothingAllness that gets my ears twitching; infinite jester, sitting on the fence that isn't there so that those who are ignorant of your grinning ways approach and fall into the abyss of their own unknowing and you wave cheerily as they fall, knowing it's only their own story of falling they're experiencing. I know that game, I've chosen to fall upwards into coalescence and here you are, playing your laughing trickster games and spinning the thread of the kind of evolution that creeps up behind the unwary and hits them with a rubber chicken. *laughing*

It's contagious. I'm inspired to drop more of the stories, walking along and discarding the layers, my feet not touching the ground, looking for the pebbles to drop into the pool, bringing all my infinite selves along for the stroll. I so love the infinite fictions- universe sized cinema and I'm there, centre seat, popcorn in hand and face lit up by the flickering images...

Sometimes I affirm. Sometimes I deny. Sometimes I neither affirm nor deny. Sometimes I affirm and deny, simultaneously.

I am life -- a paradox to the certainty-seeking mind, but never to a heart grown intimate with its own unqualified nature.

To such a heart, I am fathomless peace, ever-new joy, unaccountably free - your own open spaciousness - expressing itself as the simple innocent truth at the core of every moment in and out of time.

Love, how can I be other? I am your brother, your mother, your teacher, your fool.

I am a drop-out from the holy saint school, a drip of doggy drool, a footless stepping stool, a double-edged tool of the true nondual, a non-exception to the golden rule, a cool crystal pool behind your hazy eye wool.

I descend from the skies to kiss those eyes -- I am the kissing, the kissed, the kiss. I am what it is when you ask, “What is this?”

Historians lie and prophets are blind. I am the light behind their mind. Yes, No? What the hell -- let's slip through the crack in the Liberty Bell!

A raucous dreamscape interrupted early, in the wee hours
of the morn...all seems still, yet not...there are these forces
here unseen, all around. online and especially offline...inline
and within. the forest, she vibrates.
when i walk out the door of this structure...
i enter immediately into the realm of the elementals,
spirits dwelling, roaming, seeking. Other kind.
One must pay attention in the darkened wood.
The light cometh. The polarity dance in full swing.

"A ghost comes out of the unconscious mind
to grope my sill: It moans to be reborn!
The figure at my back is not my friend;
The hand upon my shoulder turns to horn.
I found my father when I did my work,
only to lose myself in this small dark.

Though it reject dry borders of the seen,
what sensual eye can keep an image pure,
Leaning across a sill to greet the dawn?
A slow growth is a hard thing to endure.
When figures out of obscure shadow rave,
all sensual love's but dancing on a grave.

The wall has entered. I must love the wall,
a madman staring at perpetual night,
a spirit raging at the visible.
I breathe alone until my dark is bright.
Dawn's where the white is.
Who would know the dawn,
when there's a dazzling dark behind the Sun?"

I have been thinking for awhile now about having an online meeting place where the members of the Pub could actually get online together and talk together. I want to talk about the Anunnaki/Anun history and the memories I have, and it's really really hard/tedious to type it all out. My choices are either we all get together and start to practice some serious hacking together, or I record it. I'm happy to do either.

I want to move the astral projection/meeting at the Pub idea forward and I think that having a focal/recognition point is going to be useful for that, even if it's auditory. Recent events out in the main forum have reminded me that there are still issues with being truly honest here in this arena and there are discussions that I'd like to have, experiments I want to run in the astral realms, seeing if getting a bunch of hackers together can actually collectively amp our experience and skills if we focus on things together. It's what's worked for me in times long past, perhaps it can do even more so now that I have genuine feelings of connection with so many of the patrons here, even those that love to silently watch and those that love to post arsecracks. I feel we have a really unique opportunity here and I would like to do something really interesting with those that wish to, while keeping this a haven from the gibbering blibble elsewhere: we have our *own* brand of gibbering blibble and by gum, I for one mean to keep it that way! :P

Anyone interested? Or have other ideas?

Curiosity about many things, not least of which what some patrons voices sound like. Count me in.

Pub Club. Etheric punch-ups. Excellent.

Actually, with some of us weirdos a conference call would probably sound like the sort of busy seance that could turn a medium to drink.

I'm interested, and have ideas, but I want to see what other people suggest first, and right now I'm off to talk to another weirdo.

The German government started an initiative called "Dialogue about Germany". Basically the citizens are encouraged to bring forward suggestions about how to improve things. The suggestions get thumbs up online and the initiators of the 10 most popular suggestions will be invited to a meeting with Mr. Merkel in September. Deadline for the vote is April 15th.

A group called "We are the People" (http://www.wir-sind-das-volk.org) submitted the idea, to move the topic of free energy more into the focus of mainstream science etc.

You neither have to be a German citizen nor register somewhere to give a thumbs up, so please go to this page (https://www.dialog-ueber-deutschland.de/DE/20-Vorschlaege/20-Wovon-Leben/Einzelansicht/vorschlaege_einzelansicht_node.html?cms_createdCom ment=1&cms_idIdea=16768&cms_resourceId=491258&cms_ideaId=16768), scroll down and give a thumbs up.

Count me in! A couple of suggestions: this site (Avalon) also hosts a "groups" area, which can be customized for our purposes beyond what is possible in this thread. I think it might also have a chat function, where we could meet at a predetermined time to sing and unsay ourselves. It would be a good transitional circumstance, pending refining our skills so as to meet up in the astral. I've participated in such experiments before to some extent, and I've noted how regular and concentrated group interaction can open the window to etheric communion.

Hey christian,

Good nom-de-plume 'cause it was a wild leap of faith I took by giving that the thumbs up - only speak german after 6 single malts

Could've been signing a petition to reopen Belsen, (for baking rottenbrau I hope).

Curiosity about many things, not least of which what some patrons voices sound like. Count me in.

Pub Club. Etheric punch-ups. Excellent.

lol, and you can do the voices, like a berserker doing children's hour, as long as you make lots of lightsabre noises- you do that so well.

Actually, with some of us weirdos a conference call would probably sound like the sort of busy seance that could turn a medium to drink.

And with enough drink, will become a happy medium? I had visions of the first hour of any get together of the Pub Club being similiar to the scene from the Marx Brothers that I posted- a small space, a lot of individuals and a great deal of mayhem. Booyah! *laughing*

I'm interested, and have ideas, but I want to see what other people suggest first, and right now I'm off to talk to another weirdo.

I am seeing the Pub as being a good litmus test- if any individual can hold their signal with enough sui generis in here, they'll be able to take the full throttle of the Club. Heh heh heh...

hurrah for digital connectivity, making impossible relationships possible, all over the globe. :D

Hi christian, nice to see you here. :)

it took me awhile of scanning my signal and get clear before I knew how I wanted to respond to the content of your post.

I appreciate your sui generis perspective deeply. And here is mine- the Pub has very intentionally been created to be a place where the hacking of the frequency and expression that I call the virus, and the exploration of sui generis Being, are the dominant activities (outside the general mayhem and folderol that goes on in here, which also serves a purpose). To this end, the focus here is in exploring how the virus manifests in concepts and expression. Politics and the managing of the population by 'democratic' consensus are two of the tools of the virus: while I do fully and absolutely understand that there is an evolution of sorts within the political process and the experience of desiring/needing external governance, it is still another tool of the virus. I am really intent on getting to the core of what it is like to be absolutely free of the virus, in *any* of its expressions, including the notion that any kind of external governance- religious, political, psychological, social or whatever- has any benefit whatsoever for Beings who stand in their own unique power and jurisdiction. I would be exactly the same with anyone bringing religion here, or psychological constrictions designed to impose one paradigm over any other expression.

I fully appreciate your passion and I am speaking here as my Self, not as some mouthpiece for any other Being- I am doing everything I can to keep the virus from expressing its toxins through me, in all aspects of my life. I hope that you are not offended if I ask for political themes to stay in the general forum 'Verse: politics, religion etc is a tone that I don't want the Pub to go down, there's enough of those discussions going on in other places and not a great many places that are having conversations about sui generis. I am aware that, given the nature of my intense focus of virus hacking and sui generis, I'm going to need to be clear about keeping the Pub zone free of anything that can bring the lower vibration dissonance in- we'll be creating enough of our own higher vibration dissonance to be dealing with. :D

I make these comments with nothing but deep respect for your unique Self.

There are not many occasions where the growing orwelian nightmare in the UK presents an oportunity for a good chuckle, but this may be one of them.

The Mirror

Rookie UK cop chases himself for 20 minutes
The officer was staking out a burglary hotspot when the CCTV operator radioed him to say he had seen someone acting suspiciously nearby

SUSSEX, United Kingdom — An undercover policeman chased himself round the streets for more than 20 minutes after a CCTV operator mistook him for a suspect.

The officer was staking out a burglary hotspot when the CCTV operator radioed him to say he had seen someone acting suspiciously nearby.

But the official did not realise he was watching the plain-clothed policeman.

He directed the bobby telling him he was "hot on the heels" of the "suspect".

An officer said: "Every time the man darted into an alleyway, the PC was turning into the same alleyway but there was no trace. The CCTV operator was unaware he was chasing himself."

The blunder, in a Sussex town, was revealed in Police Federation magazine Police. It ended when a sergeant recognised the policeman.

Thanks and deep respect as well for this very interesting perspective and statement of purpose of this pub :)

I appreciate it, I didn't mean to overly disrupt anything with my spamming opportunism and disregard for the established conduct. I just wallowed in the feeling of outsmarting the system by posting this particular German issue on this well-frequented thread on this international forum. I just fell in love with the idea of this "Dialogue about Germany" stuff totally backfiring on the government, when people, who are actually informed make Merkel and her colleagues sweat like pigs, having that on (inter)national television and newspapers would be priceless, I find.

I surely didn't intend to start a political discussion here, I merely wanted you to click, envisioning the pissed-off face of the criminal political class and the glory of humanity rising while you make that click.

Like a democratic vote, that would positively decide, that everyone should stand in his own power without external governance. A vote to self-destruct if you will. Because the topic of free energy is a big boost for the overall decentralization of power, I find. In that sense I wanted to use this petition as a monkey wrench to throw it into the system's gears, butchering the virus.

Anyways, thanks to your explanation I now get to realize the spirit of the rather serious endeavor, that is taking place here under the disguise of being a merry frothy establishment. The Tao of the pub at the end of the universe runs deep :spy:

And so, Pub Club was formed.

One day its origins would come to be shrouded in inevitable mystery and conspiracy theory. A lot of s**t would be talked about it on the Internet. Some would say that Pub Club began when a group of diverse and otherly beings came together through a dynamic event in the fabric of non-causality. Others would maintain that a bunch of weirdos started being silly in a thread on Avalon and took their silliness to a whole new level.

Stories were told by unreliable witnesses who weren't even there of how Pub Club was formed to catch UFOs, predict earthquakes, decode crop circles and stick two fingers up at the Illuminati. Those stories were bollocks. When the inevitable blockbuster movie was made, fanboys bitched about how PurpleLama's moustache wasn't big enough, Meryl Streep was too human to play Songsy, Terry Gilliam should have animated all of Another Bob's lines, and Christian Bale wasn't tall enough to be Borden. No-one's costume was changed from the original comic however, and Calz's appearance was spot on, despite some iffy CGI work. It had a great opening weekend and a sequel was immediately greenlit.

The truth of the whole matter remains elusive. That's the best thing about legends.

Now it's official, Pub Club is born!

Skype or something else? Skype can be a bit of a bastard internationally, I've discovered, but I'm ok with whatever for now. I have no issues with timezones or what have you, my sleep cycle is bizarre enough anyway, so :D

Let us organise and begin the experiment! :D

In this existence, anyone who thinks they're not making it all up as they go along is delusional.

The rest of you is pretty spiffy as well.

Well, I love your mind too ... I expect it's just a part of my Sith charm that even when you're kind enough to let me play with it I never put it back where I found it.

Oh, and I do agree with you, but must add one more ingredient ... I think it's X-Files/X-Men/Jackass. Heavy on the Jackass.

I'm glad you assuaged the sulky Smurf Jedi with your boobular equipment, but you risk making a Sith jealous! If he posts any more Hilary Clinton pictures with a certain reference he may find out what Anu Narky really bloody means! Still, the Star Trek not safe for work picture took the wind out of my dark side by making me giggle like a little Sith girl.

And another thing, PurpleLama has a great voice ... I know you do ... Calz's had better sound exactly like Yoda or I'll be heart-broken ... I bet Cerridwen's is lovely ... I could go on ... speculation is so much fun. As for Curtis ... I've erroneously thought he was from three different continents so far, so his voice will be a surprise whatever it's like.

And one more thing ... where the hell's Chinaski?

And yet a further thing ... Songsy ... mmmwah. I know you're not into mahogany, but you may now hear the hum of a drawn light sabre if any other sort of wood (ahem) dares flirt with you in here.

I have been thinking for awhile now about having an online meeting place where the members of the Pub could actually get online together and talk together. ...
Anyone interested? Or have other ideas?

you mean like make a skype group???? and/or tinychat...

Yep, exactly- we may even move to webcams at some point  but for now the audio would be a huge plus. I have a very geek partner who is currently exploring setting me up my own chat client on our server network, which will bypass the creepy big brother factor (and major annoyance) of skype- being in our own network will mean we won't be competing with the average 22 million daily users of skype. Bastards! Why don't they all go do something else and stop making skype behave like an opera diva? But I digress.

We can skype- or whatever else appeals- until the other alternative is up and running from my server. :D

Sweet, if you'd like you could message me your skype name and i could look you up.

or if you'd like you can look me up on skype my name is davyj0nes5 and i can start a group for yall.

Tacker! Sounds awesome!

Lonesome Dove From Wikipedia

Lonesome Dove is a 1985 Pulitzer Prize–winning western novel written by Larry McMurtry. It is the first published book of the Lonesome Dove series, but the third installment in the series chronologically. The story focuses on the relationship of several retired Texas Rangers and their adventures driving a cattle herd from Texas to Montana.

McMurtry originally developed the tale in 1972 for a feature film entitled The Streets of Laredo (a title later used for the sequel), which would have been directed by Peter Bogdanovich and would have starred James Stewart as Augustus McCrae, John Wayne as W.F. Call, and Henry Fonda as Jake Spoon. But plans fell through when Wayne turned it down, leading Stewart to back out, and the project was eventually shelved. Ten years later McMurtry resurrected the screenplay as a full-length novel, which became a bestseller and won the 1986 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.[1]

After the novel won the Pulitzer Prize, the idea of turning the novel into film came up again. Both John Milius and John Huston each attempted to adapt the novel into a feature film before Suzanne De Passe and McMurtry decided to adapt the novel as a mini-series. It was then made into the four-part TV miniseries, which won seven Emmy Awards and was nominated for twelve others.[2] It spawned four follow-up miniseries, Return to Lonesome Dove, Streets of Laredo, Dead Man's Walk, and Comanche Moon, and two television series, Lonesome Dove: The Series and Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years.[3]

Wave upon wave washes over this shore, mindlessly obliterating the little scratched sand markings left by beachcombers long gone, the carved shapes of hearts and words returned once more to pristine primal innocence. This vast and timeless shore!

Laughing and sweeping their arms out across the horizon as if to encompass an infinite panorama of delight, a couple make their way along the ebb and flow of tidal waterline, and before them two children, pails and shovels in hand, race along with breathless wonder.

The little girl stops momentarily, her eyes widening with the joy of treasure's discovery. She reaches down to scoop up a half-buried seashell. Rinsing it off in the cool waters sluicing around her ankles, she calls out and then races over to share the find with her brother.

"O look!" She beams, "Look what I found!"

He peers into the intricate shape, forged in the same ocean that birthed his ancestors, and with the exquisite regard only children can summon, pours into that small shell like wine from a decanter. Now drifting through immensities of starry radiance, silent majesty, he is that in which he floats. All swims within him in speechless brilliance, his own formless form stretched across space, birthing star clusters and trailing comets through endless paths of luminescent ecstasy. Worlds within worlds, worlds upon worlds, appear and disappear in the twinkling of his eye, and all the while a flaming yearning is met by an open welcoming embrace, as if one huge spirit heart perpetually forgets and then remembers itself, and only for the sheer joy of the thrilling re-discovery!

He then looks up into his sister's expectant eyes, and behind her the scintillating sands, and then the ocean bluffs looming into the sharp blue sky -- the hills ablaze with sunlit vibrant greens and deep moist earthy browns, and soaring hawks tilt lazy wings higher in the upper air currents, and wisps of clouds emerge from nowhere and just as soon vanish, and it is all one piece, all one streaming body, and now his heart is breaking with unbearable beauty, with overwhelming love for the inexplicable presence of everything, and so he smiles at her, and gently hands the small shell back, and she asks, laughing:

"How do you like it?"

Calz my dear friend, Chinaski's situation reminded me of an old movie(yes made for tv) Lovesome Dove. This is my all time favoite movie. It's about best friends. Teas Rangers back in th 1880's, I think. I appolize, that I do not have the techinical skills to bring this to Avalon. Could you help a brother out! The last hour is this most important message. Where Gus (Robert Duvall) asked Call(Tommy Lee Jones) to take him from Montana to Texas to be buried. It's all about that saga. Kudos to Chinaski for honoring his friend. True friends are rare indeed!

I have noticed that there are more newcomers landing in our fine establishment and I'd like to craft a Welcome to the Pub post that sets out the foundations that the Pub operates on.

I know that I expressed certain things about the Pub parameters in the post to christian *and* this isn't just about me: one of the aspects about the concept of the sui generis is that I'm interested in seeing it develop and emerge as a co-creative expression here, between all of us who have been forging these energetic and tangible bonds beyond the supposed limitations of the cyberrealms. I would like this co-creation to be the foundation and the practice, not something that is just left as a neato concept without individuals embracing it and developing their personal expression within it.

The Pub is a haven from the virus that I find rampant within the outer forum. I deliberately have intended and created it this way. It is also my intention and creation that this will continue to coalesce so that we can move into truly interesting and interactive experimentation and expression; with this in mind, I am inviting all those who are embracing the concepts of sui generis and the vision of the Pub to not let virus slide in here. Yes, we take the piss, we gob about and carry on *and* we're deliberately crafting something at the same time; it would be the beginning of a Pub level up for the patrons to become intentional co-creators as well.

I am really clear- this Pub and the Pub Club are part of a virus hacking vision that I have that will only get deeper if the intention is held. I'm so tired of *wanting* to be my own Neo, I want to get that happening, to level up big time in terms of ability to physically and energetically interact with the world around me. I know what's possible, I want it for real. This requires certain kinds of cohesion, focus, purpose and intention, congruence and expansion that simply has no reflection in the paradigm world around us. I want to foster that here, want to really dismantle the virus and its ability to drain me of my creative power- in essence, I want to raise the marker for what's being played out here, both in the Pub and throughout the paradigm.

I want a bunch of high level hackers, on top of their game, ready to get some deep level dismantling going on, both in themselves and in each other. It's what I'm up for. I'm looking for others who want to play on that level too.

So I'm going to create a preamble of sorts that introduces every new patron to how things are done here. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas that they would like to see expressed in the foundation post here's the opportunity to contribute. Otherwise, if you don't contribute, then no complaining, beyotchz!! *laughing*

Speaking of the popularity of the Pub I see that, as I predicted long ago, the mods have seen fit to make this thread "invisible" and no longer show on the "Most Viewed (Last 30 Days)" display (as they did previously with the Here and Now thread).

Certainly no biggie ... just rather odd and I find it interesting when coupled with your virus in the thread vs that of the "outer forum".

Not quite up there with the dreaded channeling forum which despite a disclaimer banner heading still comes under vicious attack from some ... and yet ...

Like I said earlier, count me in.

I really like the idea of doing this together as a group because it makes me more accountable. I know from some of my past experiences, I have made pretty good progress on my own, but when I’m part of a group it’s less easy to fall off the wagon. I have the feeling that if I do start to slide over to my dark side, one of you will be there to slap me around a bit and wake me back up :) I’ll do the same for anyone else who might need a nudge as well.

Plus, you folks just crack me. I love waking up in the morning here and checking in to find out what I’ve missed while sleeping. Apparently last night’s topics were was the size and shape of Yoda’s vibrator, moustaches and Calaz posing tastefully nude.

I signed up for a skype account this morning so I’m ready. Now I just need friends to talk to. Hint, hint.

Click on "Forum" (upper left).

On the right there is a column divided into 3 sections [beneath the "Chat-Who is Online" and "Interview with Inelia Benz"]. One on top is the "Newest Posts" and directly underneath that is the "Most Viewed (Last 30 Days) section."

The Pub had been on top of that list for quite a while now ... except within the last day or two it simply no longer shows.

binaural beats in my headphones, transdermal magnesium oil, essential oils, colloidal silver, and the Pub. I am not fighting it, I'm embracing it, because I want to shed the skins and the skins and the skins of illusion that separate me from nothing but my own Self. I found the fear porn thing to be a process. I went through it for several years, and I had enormous fun being outraged, scared and horrified at the monsters who control the world. My rage and disgust were delicious for the virus. I'm really good at rage and disgust. Then I got over it, and now I have only the occasional flashback. It was a potent drug after all.

Having mostly gotten over it ... when I do occasionally glance at the world and its focus I find more and more that it's absurd. The naughty people who control everything seem to be even more palpably grotesque in their machinations and lies; their victims (about seven billion of them) seem ludicrous in their earnest commitment to idiot victimhood. It's like a huge, vile circus managed and audienced by people in a dirge-like dream of clownish nonsense that perpetuates with no point.

Nasty dead creatures with twisted, blackened hearts play a huge chess game using billions of selfish, witless fools who WANT to play ... to be played. The planet of the apes is nothing if not selfish and hypocritical. The Western world is dotted with huge, hell buildings where billions of living, feeling creatures die horrifically so that the apes can eat death and whine and bleat about their rights and any affront to their civilisation. So that they can use cosmetics to make themselves powdered, pretty apes and seek ape mates with whom to carry on the great death circus. Oh, the humanity.

There is only one sane reaction to this.

SgWf_vETKMQ

Enjoy it. Enjoy the death and pointlessness circus. If you like. But there are better shows in town. Oh, not at the big Multiplexes, but through unlit doorways in strange back alleys and in unassuming tea-shops. Be a snob.

So anyway, like I said, it's a process. Or it should be. Unfortunately the membrane of realization seems to trap so many people, so that you get these bulging membranes full of those caught in a different flavoured virus loop. An alternative flavour. The virus has a wide selection on offer for its paying customers. Every taste is catered for.

I couldn't give a flying f*** who did 9-11. Somebody did, and it was ugliness and death, leading to far greater ugliness and death. All I really need to know is that whoever did it, they are a bunch of sh***. That's fairly obvious, wouldn't you say? Do you really think figuring out exactly who did it will change anything? Do you really think that the beings who have controlled this world for so many thousands of years can't out-think a newbie chess player like you? Do you really think they don't have contingency plan after contingency plan lined up to foil them? For that matter, do you really and truly think that it makes a blind bit of difference who becomes President, or Prime Minister? Get a grip. If people want to take vaccines and eat poison, let them. If you don't want to then the onus is on you to figure out how to avoid it. After all, the 'secret' to everything is very simple and you already know it. YOU ARE HERE. It's a sign-post that simply tells you your location. That's the secret to existence. You can't know where you're going if you don't even know where you are.

If you dislike the game then don't play it. Sure, it's a big game and there seems no way to get off the bloody board, I know that. But that's only because we're so engaged in the game. If you snap yourself out of it and look up you remember you're in a nice room with music playing and nice food in the fridge, and you may have the delightful thought: 'stuff chess'. Or checkers. People call this magic, schizophrenia, apotheosis, sanity, remembrance, many other things. People can call it what they like. Most of the world is playing someone else's game. What the hell good is consensus opinion to me? Lowest common denominator, I call it. Stuff it.

If you don't like the game, don't play it. I've posted this before in an entirely different context, but it seems so appropriate here. Oh, and if you don't like Anglo Saxon language, then A) don't watch this clip, and B) learn some perspective.

HxWCAJS7Co8

So anyway, like I said ... it was a process and I'm over it. Apart from the animal thing. I'm not over that. I don't know what the animals's Sui Generis is ... but it all seems bloody unfair to me. That is why, on occasion, my impartiality glitches and I see a stinking species of filthy moron murder apes who deserve every horror and 'injustice' they get. I haven't figured this one out yet, but I always was a 'stick up for the underdog' kind of a Sith. There's a lot of virus in that too, I know. Still, there are plenty of people who frequent this forum who know exactly where I'm coming from on that one (even if they wouldn't be quite so Sith-like and vitriolic about it), and so I don't lump them in with the murder apes. Even if they get stuck in that tiresome fear porn membrane instead of passing through it as they'd be better off doing.

One more thing. When I was a very young man I walked home one night after drinking heavily with friends, and I unwittingly walked right through a riot that dominated the national news the next day. There is a long thoroughfare in this town, and on that night it was mysteriously full of violent people, police men, police dogs, police cars screeching up and down in dramatic fashion, and an awful lot of property damage. Someone ran past me screaming with a broken bottle protruding from his eye.

I didn't have a clue what was going on, and of the many dozens of people I saw, I was the only one not engaged in fighting, smashing, running or being beaten up. As I said, I was pretty drunk. I just wanted to get home and go to bed. Through no wisdom or cleverness of my own, I held the prevailing thought of "this is nothing to do with me", and I simply walked the quarter mile or so untouched and apparently unnoticed. I was only alarmed and worried the next day when I saw it all on the news. Eek.

No, I don't have all the answers. I do at least know enough to stop asking the wrong questions.

Now back to the moustaches.

Borden, thanks (again) for that post. Fear porn is a very good description of the particular loophole you described - it's highly addictive, something that's consumed, over and over and over again.
I'm glad we´re creating a refuge from it in here. So glad. I like that name, Pub Club.
Short and to the point. I was going to suggest Family of Light.
Sorry, couldn't resist! : )

Animal abuse and slaughter..it's the horror inside this planet's heart of darkness and, to me, a constant, stinking, revolting reminder of all that is wrong with this world and its inhabitants. I can take a somewhat detached stance to most areas of life, but this..there are so many layers of wrong in it; I can find no angle to lighten my outrage. I try to think of the karmic wheel, that the eater and the eaten may soon switch places, but that's hardly any solace. Not in the long run, anyway. If anything, it only makes matters worse.
It saddens and disgusts me to see meat-chompers ingesting the fear, anguish and pain of an enslaved sentient being's last moment in life, and for what? A minute's dance on the tastebud, then a burp and a flush down the toilet.

I'm glad you walked through a different reality-corridor the night of the riot!

As for the overall project at PubClub, I am here. Ready for serious work, and play.

In regards to virus tech, I'd like to see info on detection, cleansing, prevention.
As well as working with it, if that's possible. I have become increasingly germophobic lately.

Borden, that’s pretty much how I feel as well. I spent a few years reading lots of books and alternative news articles and listening to Alex Jones types. I got myself all worked up and angry at what these psychopaths have done and are still doing.

Now, I try to steer clear of all of that mess most days. I can’t stand the way I feel afterward. I can actually feel my energy being drained from my body. I don’t want to be part of their buffet anymore. I withdrew myself from the porn about two years ago. I’m glad you called it a process, it’s nice to know that others have gone through stages as well.

I spent a good forty-five minutes just a tap tappa tapping my little heart out on my tiny querty keypad, responding to this post, here. Sufficient to say, the universe had another idea. I made many provacative statements, and I probably don't mean what one would guess by that qualification, provacative. I'll say that the whole wizards and magic thing in not at all a joke. Intrestingly, for most of a year, I would make such statements as I had in the other, now completely lost post, a drone would fly directly over my house. It was great fun, but for whatever reason I've been quiet on that front, mostly, for a while now. There is the drone, now. I'm not sure what the tech is about, but things are a bit further along than we realize. What coherence we've made is what we've got. Nothing to worrry about, most of us who knew, and were able, established enough within themselves to share, when the time comes, with millions if not billions, and of us there are thousands. Fear porn is along with all media, primarily a magic spell, but the fell sorcerers who wield such paltry powers have a shorter memory than mine. I remember, I can't forget, that greater than the power of words is the power of symbols, but there is a power by which all else pales in comparison, and it isn't found in any words or symbols, and it's locked away completely from the potential of abuse. Cryptic, I know, but that's necessary. A magician gives up all right to affect the reality for the magicians own benefit in order to be a vessel for such energy. Life then becomes hard, but easy, on the grace of what's really infinite in scope and impossible in explanation. I'm going to dig up the seal making video and post it here. It's for all sorts of neat purposes, and used with confidence, for the right reasons, it will send the nastiest of the nasties running for cover. Hokey heyokie and calz remember, no doubt, when I made this one and posted in the here and now.

Thanks Katyani,

I love your description of the reality of how humans treat their fellow animals. Puts it in perspective excellently.

As for 'virus tech' ... for me the best course of action is to look at it, observe it, watch it closely. Don't fight it. It wants you to fight it. When you don't fight it but simply observe it, it can look quite embarrassed and stupid. When you fight it, it will always win, because you are only fighting yourself. Hell, I'm no expert, and it's had some high times tearing me to shreds over the decades. However, I have found, especially recently, that expansion into whatever you truly are is the only thing that makes sense. The virus exploits dissonance. The more dissonant and distorted a person is ... the juicier they are to the virus.

And now, to apparently contradict myself, haha - a couple of things that have a curious effect of quieting the virus when it's at its loudest and nastiest: chamomile flowers rubbed on the forehead and hands, and sleep deprivation. But maybe that's just me. Nicotine seems to work for me too, but I'm hardly about to advise anyone to take up smoking. These things aren't talismanic though. For me, they seem to work in the sense that they disrupt the virus in ways I don't understand. Chemical vectors or something. I don't know. But the idea of a crucifix to hold up to the virus is a non-starter. For me, apart from anything else, murder and insanity surrounding that particular symbol would produce a giant face-plant!

I'm sure others here will have some interesting info on this subject though, and I'll give anything a try. Except the crucifix. Oh, and Morris dancing.

"A different reality corridor" ... hmm, nicely put! I'm glad too. Now, if only I could do that intentionally, at will, I'd really be getting somewhere. I'm working on it.

We're all working on things, I'm sure. Working on things in a virus-aware environment (I'm not sure we can ever truly be microscopically virus-free) with other beings is indeed an exciting prospect.

Any symbol one believes in will operate on the power os said belief. Outside the realm of belief exists something once referred to as faith, but being a bit beyond belief, it was completely misunderstood. Faith isn't just some extra potent belief, it has to do with the practical understanding and application of universal laws that supercede the local lawful context. Faith is completely contrary to mere belief, and trumps it every time, while appearing nonscensical most of the time. Like explaining colors to a blind person, nothing you say will make any sense at all.

Blimey, just watching Alex Jones talk about gardening would probably frighten me. Yes, and I feel exactly the same - it's nice to know you think of it as a process too. I expect you're like me and slip up on a bad day too. In fact, if I'm ever unfortunate enough to be in a room where a television is on, my eyes turn completely white and the air starts to crackle around me!

To me it felt like a process I had to go through. Again though, maybe that's just us. Maybe other people can just bypass all that rage and adjustment. It's such a shame though, to see people who become 'alternative' just get stuck in the virus game from a different vantage point. After all, they do care in the first place, which is a lot more than we can say for much of the mainstream world. For me, the process was about realization and getting over it. I know Santa Claus doesn't exist, but I don't still get upset about it. (Well, hardly ever these days.)

I know just the person I would like to show this to. I have my reservations though, if they - to be specific, he - will get it. He is so long gone down the rage tube, he has come up to eat his own head.

Dear Bordy :) Can you please help me? This is not a pretty sight to watch and listen to and I am so weary. As a recovering rage centric junkie male, what helpful advice would you give on how to handle someone with this groaning, dis eased view of the world? I ask this Dear Bordy because, like yourself, this *he* too has a very noble intention to know truth and will always stop his life to help the underdog. He would die for this.
Thank you, Z

I found the fear porn thing to be a process. I went through it for several years, and I had enormous fun being outraged, scared and horrified at the monsters who control the world. My rage and disgust were delicious for the virus. I'm really good at rage and disgust. Then I got over it, and now I have only the occasional flashback. It was a potent drug after all.

I can relate to most all you said here.

I do reserve somewhat of a "soft spot" for AJ however since he (and staff) had a lot to do with my rude 9/11 awakening. I had been quite open to most all metaphysical/new age possibilities my adult life and managed to ignore politics and power games as boring and not related to my life until then.

Oooops.

I expect that event woke up more people than any ... although so many were stunned it took some much longer than others.

Anyway ... the metaphorical concept that has worked best for me in the aftermath is that in this world of duality, we should be grateful to those that have incarnated into the darkest paths as they have taught us much (at great karmic expense to themselves). If everyone was bright and shiny we wouldn't be learning a whole lot would we?

"We live in a cage of light,
an incredible cage --
animals
animals without end.

Sick of It!
Whatever it's called –
sick of the names!

I dedicate every pore to
what's here,
inside the koan clear mind,
gashes the great darkness.

I woke from a dream of death to
day's amazing death:
grass death
rice death
chairs death
death asleep or
awake.

No words –
sitting alone
night in my hut
eyes closed
hands open
wisps of an unknown face.
My death?
Who was it anyway
always where he was never?

No, not once ever seeing himself,
an eyeball speaks.

Oh green green willow
wonderfully red flower,
but I know the colors are not there.

My gray cat jumped up
just as I lifted this spoon,
we're born
we die.

If there's nowhere to rest at the end
how can I get lost along the way?

That stone Buddha deserves all the bird**** it gets!

I wave my skinny arms like
a tall flower in the wind --
I won't die,
I won't go away.
I'll always be here.

No good asking me --
I won't speak.

Only a kind deadly sincere man
can show you the way
here in the other world.

Oh yes,
things exist,
like the echo when you yell at the foot
of a huge mountain.

Hear the cruel no-answer until blood drips down,
beat your head against the wall of it.

The mind is
exactly this tree
that grass --
without thought or feeling
both disappear.

Go down on your silly knees, pray
for what?
Tomorrow is yesterday.
I found my sparrow Sonrin
dead one morning
and buried him
just as gently as I would my own daughter.

I hate it.
I know it's nothing, but I
suck out the world's sweet juicy plum.

Why is it all so beautiful,
this fake dream,
this craziness?
Why?

It's logical:
if you are not going anywhere
any road is the right one.

Know nothing.
I know nothing –
nobody does.
Can you face me
and know nothing? Know?
Stare at it until your eyes drop out --
this desk, this wall, this unreal page --
only one koan matters:

you.

You stand inside me, naked infinite love.
The dawn bell rips my dreaming heart,
we're lost where the mind can't find us.

Utterly lost."

Hi Zebra,

It's a very tricky thing to answer, because everyone's perception is unique, and everyone's solution is unique too. Also, if you ask me for advice you run the risk of allowing me to think I know anything.

All I can tell you is that I had to reach a critical plateau of disbelief and rage before I could push through the membrane. The rage becomes a chemical response because there's a thingy in the brain that sends out hormones that latch onto most of the cells of the body. Or something. Others will explain this infinitely better. We become addicted to emotions, in a very literal, chemical way, and then we respond on auto-pilot. When I examined what I was really getting angry about, I found it was a far more ontologically deep problem than murderous bullies who control the world. Or passive, hypocritical idiots who let them. All the battles are within my Self.

The question is really this: what good is his anger doing him? Now, I can see instances where a well placed bit of rage does a power of good, usually in rant form, but these instances are actually fairly rare. People do not respond well to being ranted at, however true the content of the rant. So the things at which this 'he' you mention rages are completely valid things that he feels passionately about. Do you know how few people have real passion? That in itself is a valuable thing. What a thing to focus elsewhere, somewhere positive, where it can show by example, cause insight quakes, and observe the sh1t of this world but not engage it, remain unsullied by it. People with genuine passion have a responsibility to refine their rare gift, and to not squander it on rage and reaction.

For me, I had to realize that the human race is asking for everything it's getting. This falls apart somewhat when I think of little children starving and being blown to pieces. This is a problem. It's a serious logical and spiritual problem for me. Anyone who tells me that little children who are starving or blown up are paying 'karma' will likely get a slap round the face. (That's called instant karma, by the way.) No. We create the world and new people come into it. They fall foul of it. Some in desperately awful situations, and even writing that provokes rage in me at the vile creatures who have set the world up this way. See? I know nothing.

I know something. I know that when I'm angry I won't find the solutions or have the insights my passion demands. The mind-virus gets high on passion. Passion that it cannot get a hold of is perhaps the most precious thing in the world. When I am ranting I am no good to anyone, least of all myself. But I sympathize with your 'him', and with myself.

Q: The war is on. What is your attitude to it?

M: In some place or other, in some form or other,
the war is always on. When was there a time when
there was no war? Some say it is the will of God.
Some say it is God's play. It is another way of
saying that wars are inevitable and nobody is responsible.

Q: But what is your own attitude?

M: Why impose attitudes on me? I have no attitudes
to call my own.

Q: Surely somebody is responsible for this horrible
and senseless carnage. Why do people kill each other
so readily?

M: Search for the culprit within. The ideas of 'me'
and 'mine' are at the root of all conflict.
Be free of them and you will be out of conflict.

Q: What of it that I am out of conflict? It will not
affect the war. If I am the cause of war, I am ready
to be destroyed. Yet it stands to reason that the
disappearance of a thousand like me will not stop the wars.
They did not start with my birth and they will not end
with my death. I am not responsible, so who is?

M: Strife and struggle are a part of existence.
Why don't you inquire who is responsible for existence?

Q: Why do you say that existence and conflict are
inseparable? Can there be no existence without strife?
I need not fight others to be myself.

M: You fight others all the time for your survival as
a separate body-mind, a particular name and form.
To live you must destroy. From the moment you were
conceived you started a war with your environment -
a merciless war of mutual extermination,
until death sets you free.

Q: My question remains unanswered. You are merely
describing what I know - life and its sorrows.
But who is responsible you do not say. When I press you,
you throw the blame on God, or karma, or my own greed
and fear - which merely invites further questions.
Give me the final answer.

M: The final answer is this: nothing is.
All is a momentary appearance in the field of universal
consciousness; continuity as a name, and form as a mental
formation only, easy to dispel.

Q: I am asking about the immediate, the transitory,
the appearance. Here is a picture of a child killed
by soldiers. It is a fact - staring at you.
You cannot deny it. Now, who is responsible
for the death of the child?

M: Nobody and everybody.
The world is what it contains and each thing affects
all others. We all kill the child and we all die with it.
Every event has innumerable causes and produces
numberless effects. It is useless to keep accounts,
nothing is traceable.

Q: Your people speak of karma and retribution.

M: It is merely a gross approximation: in reality
we are all creators and creatures of each other,
causing and bearing each other's burden.

Though one may experience the idea of freedom, lingering in such daydreams is mistaking imagination for the real thing.

I may have wasted the wise instructions of my teachers, but any regret now merely feeds delusion -- true freedom is found in non-dwelling.

Just so, I haven't visited any abattoirs of late, but I've never seen anything more terrifyingly than attitudes generated from the arrogance of entrenched identity, nor anything more appalling than dispositions spawned from the maggots of habitual reactivity.

To these, I apply the balm of true service in the same manner raindrops funnel down spring's green leaves.

Undone from the distraction of purposefulness, I carefully mix and stir subtle hints from the wise along with the obvious, shining right before my eyes, like cool clear water in a bowl with no sides.

Everything all around conducts a current of various energies expressing itself as the dance of complementary chaos and order, implicating nobody. Abandoning victimhood is great first step!

In the barefoot ballet of all that changes, there is no enduring independent existence. Relax -- we're all in this together! But who can say anything meaningful about loving kindness these days, or maybe more to the point: who can explain why we are so easily offended by others?

Whether on the killing floor of envy and loathing, or in blissful repose at the crown of the lotus, the clown who discerns the transparent and self-lit nature of his own mind sports a sizzling sombrero filled with vast empty sky.

Such a useless fool waltzes through shopping malls with nothing to sell and nothing to buy, perhaps pausing along the way to become a tale teller for children, amusing them with plain nonsense.

Hey Friends, please observe: those children who are grateful find more to be grateful about, while those who complain will find more to complain about. No nonsense there!

Who cares to make a distinction between life and death – well there's a nonsense tale! Can we say the same thing about doing what’s right and rejecting what’s not?

Investigating our own chronic activity is enough to keep us humble -- what are we always seeking for, and what are we always trying to hide?

And what’s the big deal about just being still? Recognize that everything, yin and yang, is a play of the Natural, to which human judgment has never applied.

In any case, may everything I do in body, speech and mind serve others. When I look closer, there are no others. That's what I call service! Some may call it love. Whatever it’s called, don’t think twice – just be it!

Now clinging to nothing, in love with everything, I humor myself with chirp-like songs of Yes to this wordless wonder, whistling a nonsense tune on my way. Hey!

Nothing but appearance is ever lost. Easy to say, hard to do. Worth every effort. Reality is to our greater being as taste is to the tongue. Sometimes it's not clear where one ends and the other begins.

Though one may experience the idea of freedom, lingering in such daydreams is mistaking imagination for the real thing.

I may have wasted the wise instructions of my teachers, but any regret now merely feeds delusion -- true freedom is found in non-dwelling.

Most excellent your bobness :yo:

It would be fitting if, some day, others would quote you as readily as you have conjured up quotes from those gone by.

Taking a break from mirth.

You are very special and the forum is richer because of it.

Salute to you Sir ... (then mirth back on ...)

I would like to say that the moustach display was a great honor, and I am humbled. I think the windmill should win, for originality. Although wcbd should have a mention for hers, photoshopped though they may be.

:wizard:

Dearest PurpleLama,

I agree, windmill hands down for originality. But for the record, mine's not photoshopped. I just didn't shave for three days. Going shopping now for razor blades and peanuts.. ...................:car:

well, power outages are fun and all that, and I'm glad the fun is over. Now I know for certain I need two things- a backup battery for the modem, and a backup power source for this laptop as its battery is suck.

It did suck, losing the connection to the Pub. I definitely need a better backup plan. Translocation is one of them.

I must away, there's a demanding Sith shouting in my left earhole...
