I think all this big scare about population, is just more of the same old B.S. When I was in the ^th grade, (1955) they said we were 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 billion, (because they didn't have an acurate method of counting people at that time), and by the year 1980, we would have about 10 billion, and the year 2000, we would be over 20 billion. Now here we are 50 years later, and they're still using the same numbers to scare us with. I think I musta missed a page somewhere.

I'm just using U.N. data for the stats.
My main point would be that every 15 minute a 1000 people die from malnutrition is rather an insult to humanity, let alone all the species and environmental destruction, all the while preaching how we need to save it as we greedily destroy and consume it all.

according to chris thomas the akashic says that the world population peaked in 1996 and is declining ever since. i believe he mentioned that it's now around 4.5bn. makes sense to me since in most western nations the figures go down or stay at the same level only because of immigration and china with its one-child policy accounts for some reduction, too. then there's all the deaths from wars and various kinds of disasters. imo the falsified figures are just a means of those in power to justify to themselves and the general public the development of ever new means of (man-made) population control and reduction.

....and personally.....I wouldn't trust UN data about anything...ever. Overpopulation propaganda is another scare tactic imho.

How do we check-veerify information of this type from anyone, anywhere? Looks as if everyone is working from the same figures and mathematically extrapolating however they do.
It's been demonstrated repeatedly that government figures cannot be trusted. Even the workers within the government agencies who gather the information have said so.
