My letter to the editor regarding my situation being a "test market" guinea pig for the U.S. Census Bureau's "American Community Survey Office" was published today in the local weekly free newspaper, The Austin Chronicle. I could say I made a decision not to cooperate with the U.S. Census Bureau's questions which I find to be personally invasive -- but the fact is, I really didn't feel I had a choice. No bone in my body would allow me to cooperate with their personal questions.

The U.S. government wants the PEOPLE to be transparent while they are increasingly and terribly cloaked in secrecy.

If you like my letter or want to share it with others, there is a place where you can click on the Facebook link as well as a place to put a link on Twitter.

You may also put in your own two cents in the comments section if you wish. If you agree with me but hesitate to post your support of me for your own safety or the safety of your family, job or whatever, I understand. Don't worry about it.

I did not keep the forms they mailed me. I wish now I had, because then I could give a full list of the questions they wanted me to answer. However I can give you a list someone posted from the 2010 version (below). I also have heard one woman claim that her census questions included sexual persuasion. I must say that I really, really hope I will not be arrested, but I just feel I must stand up about this. It is also my hope that the more my situation is publicized on the Internet the less likely I will be arrested.:victory: Yet, if I am arrested anyhow, I sure as heck want every-dang-body to know about it!

I refused to fill mine out here in Aus.
They threatened to fine me 110 dollars a day,
and have sent me out two new sets of forms,
after finding out my name from somewhere.
The last set they sent out they had me
collect and sign for.

I seriously doubt whether they have the man power
to chase the rising number that refuse to fill it out.
The invasion of privacy was on thing, but the fact that
Lockheed Martin have the GLOBAL contract to collect this
data was HIGHLY disturbing.

I would also go to jail if i had to,
but somehow i think that wont happen.
Its mostly fear tactics that have got them
this far.

These are standard questions for a census and generates information to help planning at every level, and to hold the government to account for promises made (e.g. if you voted in a government that promised to reduce unemployment then the census information will give a clear picture of how many people are unemployed). There should be a statement that the information given will be held in strict confidence. There is actually a clause about confidentiality and disclosure in the Act in my country. The people who go around and collect the data have to take an oath of confidentiality, as does everyone working with the census information. Check out the laws in your country and see if you are protected.
Oh, by the way, I was not counted in the last census. I am the only person I know who was not counted! It was rather coincidental as I am foolish enough to 'ignore' laws that I think are just plain stupid.
I also heard of some people who just refused to open the door for the census counters, or to let them inside their home. Although you had to participate according to the law, I don't think that anyone was prosecuted.
PS I am surprised that 'big business' has not inserted questions such as what kind of soap do you use, and so on! Does all this detailed information really make a difference? Statistics can also be misleading - depending on how you interpret them. It would be interesting for an journalist to investigate this.
Oh, to start, an analysis should reveal what domestic problems and issues are of importance to government in terms of wanting a lot of data.

I want to remind everyone who reads this thread -- cool thread, Avocadess! -- is that the "government" is NOT YOUR GOVERNMENT!

It seems that no matter how many times that I shout that, too people just don't get it.

The current form of the de facto US "government" is that it is a CORPORATION.

Each of you (not the living, breathing sovereign People that you really are; it's the STRAWMAN that the corporate bastards who have tricked you into conversion into ... thanks to Karelia for reminding me of this point) who have...

... are the property of the US CORPORATION, so you cannot, by their color-of-law scheme, fail to fill out the Census form in any form. You'd be breaking THEIR rules/regulations, so you'd be subject to arrest.

You have NO rights -- only revokable privileges as a mere legal-fiction entity that is the property of the US CORPORATION.

But the good news is that this US CORPORATION is busy saving its own butt, so it really cannot afford the manpower to go out and arrest anyone who dares to do any sort of civil disobedience.

Never, never, never call the current US de facto "government" "your government."

It is NOT YOUR GOVERNMENT.

It does not represent you. It represents its owners, the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, etc, the powerful rich-bitches who don't care one bit about you, other than to keep you silent and obedient.

Great post, Mozart! =)

I know it sounds melodramatic for me to say I may be arrested. I tend to think it may be a psy op on their part to "psyche me out." I do not remember any of the census callers threatening me with arrest -- but my friend who used to work for them over 5 years ago, who SUPPORTS my disobedience, checked with his sources at the Census Bureau and he, she or they told him that I WILL be arrested. He even described it to me, saying that first a Sheriff will come to my door and if I don't open the door he will come back with a warrant and they will break my door down.

If they think that kind of threat is going to get me to roll over, they don't know me. It only strengthens my resolve because they are clearly terrorists attempting to terrorize me into submission.

You are so right, Mozart. They are NOT my government. They are a rogue corporate entity that likes playing God and I'm so sick of it I could spit. I am only one person. What can I do? Well, this for now is the only thing I know I can do: I can refuse to cooperate with them.

Here's the really scariest part (for me): my ex-Census worker friend told me that the year he worked for them (in test market mode) he went to people's houses and asked them the questions. Of all the hundreds of people he interviewed only ONE person ever pushed back -- and even he answered all the invasive questions (as he escorted the two census takers off his property). I find that shocking. I also talked to an old friend on the phone yesterday and told him about it. His attitude was like Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh, "Oh, I don't have any problem with it. I don't mind answering all those questions." (But then to his discredit he also doesn't believe in "conspiracy theories.")

I keep remembering the Stanley Milgram experiments, the social psychologist who showed that most people really ARE like sheep -- are followers that tend not to question authority -- but then when one person of conscience stands up to authority, suddenly MANY of the others do too. (Interestingly, Milgram died in 1984):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Milgram

Astrid: Thanks for the reminder about the Lockheed-Martin connection. (Haven't they been the ones processing the data all along?) And thanks for your story -- and for not cooperating with them...!!! You ROCK...!!!

Minor correction here: It's not YOU who has the SS number etc, but your strawman. What most people are unaware is that YOU, the human being of flesh and blood, are only an agent for your strawman, generally identified with your name written in all capitals or the prefix Mr/Mrs/Ms.

Yes, well said! That part above in the bold red -- if everyone did that, the world would change overnight. Refusing to cooperate with them can be a wonderful tool with which to fight them.

But there is a huge problem with that ballsy strategy ... and that leads to your other observation in blue that is so true. I'm eff'n embarrassed to call myself an American right now.

I'm thoroughly disgusted with the vast majority of Americans who have no balls, no cojones and no ability to eff'n, goddamn fight the bastards. <sigh>

Avocadess -- you have cojones (well, brave ovaries), so I commend you for the courage that you have. I'd be honored to call you a fellow Patriot American.

They won't arrest you. But they threaten to fine you. I don't think they'll push the threat because of fear that the courts could throw it out as a violation of the Fifth Amendment. They'd rather enjoy the info from the majority than the chance (however small) that a court decision could embolden larger numbers to refuse to comply.

I did not foresee it but the census was my line in the sand. Its one thing reading about this stuff online but when it slithers through you letterbox things change. My blood boiled when the UK one came through the door and read it. The flesh and blood human wanted nothing to do with this.

Make sure you know what your doing and I'm not giving advice, only support. But so far I have had no action taken against me. And thats after threats of fines and people knocking at the door. All of which I dealt with. And I'm no genius :)

Its all based on fear. This simple act was a very empowering thing for me.

All the best Avocadess.

A wonderful video on YouTube of someone in the UK telling the census people he would have nothing of it -- very cheeky:

Later he made another video about what he felt he should have said:

I find those videos very empowering; there are many on youtube if you search 'strawman' or 'common law' or visit sites such as tpuc.org, getoutofdebtfree.org for more information. They're all about regaining sovereignty, and that is mostly an internal process. The more you learn about it, the more you 'ingest' it, and the more you'll start living it.

If you're a storyteller or writer of fiction, the census forms make wonderful templates for the skeleton of a new story. YOU are not the addressee on the form in any case (your strawman is), and since they address a fictional entity anyway, you are free to fill in the blanks to your heart's content, ie create a whole new universe.

Make it a game, and have fun at it!

I'm sorry sdv but do you actually believe this? That is what the government says the census is for — the same government which says the NDAA, SOPA, etc., are for protecting freedom — the same government which says Bradley Manning is a traitor — (the same government which says detaining people like Manning without charge or trial for ages is consistent with 'protecting whistle-blowers) — the same government that says Guantanamo Bay is a necessity for any bastion of justice and liberty. You trust that government to do as it says?

By Law, you are required to tell them how many people reside at the residence and their ages. That is all that I gave them. The "surveyor"questioned me why, and I said it violated my constitutional rights, and the rest is none of their business. She said, oh, OK. and that was the end of it. LOL

Dear Advocadess,

I refuse to fill out the census done here in Canada last year. They too threatened me with jail and told me it was the law that I had to fill it out. I told them "show me the law that I have to give my personal information to Lockheed and Martin which is not even a Canadian company versus the government itself". I also stated that no company that does nothing but make war machines and weapons is not an entity I would ever allow to have any information on me let alone personal information.

They have left me alone since and I have heard nothing from them in months now. However, should they come a knocking I too will be going to jail as my conscience will not allow this violation or abuse of my right to my privacy and sovereignty. Therefore, I support you 100% and stand by you in your decision. :)

Thank you, Sandy! I love what you told them! I would have told them about Lockheed Martin too (if I had known about that at the time). The more I learn the more it strengthens my resolve!

I used to think (up to 3 weeks ago) that the U.S. was the ONLY country that did a census. (Shows how much I don't know...!!!) I do believe the force is WITH US...!!! RIGHT ON, Sister...!!!

You two are amazing! I love your righteous chutzpah :D. I forget whether it was David Icke or Alex Jones who said it, but one of them said if you run at these bullies they cower like frightened children. They don't know how to react when they think you should be scared but you are not. More power to both of you. :D

I must say I am amazed at the number of people who fill out the entire census without ever questioning. It would certainly be an identity thief's wet dream to get such information.

A business associate of mine here in Texas told me that it was in the news (I think a couple years ago) that a couple of door-to-door census takers "lost" their laptops. My guess is that this may be why they are not coming to my door. That was some pretty bad press there..!!!

The powers that were may know everything about me, but that is no reason (in my opinion) to cooperate with them. I keep wondering, "Why, when they already know so much about me -- and so much information is so easy to get without asking me -- do they insist that I answer their questions?" The only answer I can come up with is PROGRAMMING and INTIMIDATION. Get the sheep used to rolling over for them on the most intimate levels. That sort of thing.

I get calls from Washington DC daily now and twice yesterday plus if I count calls from Maryland (I know no one in either area) it's 1-3 calls daily. I do not answer the phone.

Oh, by the way, I heard an interesting interview on coasttocoastam from April 14th. It was a man from Sweden who has a radio show there. His website is

redicecreations.com

and there are interesting shows there.

He was talking about how Sweden has been a NWO experiment for hundreds of years, especially due to its smaller population and being sort of isolated in some way. The Census first began in Sweden, he said, in the 1600s. The people have been programmed for apparently hundreds of years to conform. (Another American professor now in Switzerland on one of his shows says that it is very hard to get 18-20-year-old Swedish students to enter debates. They have been brought up to go by consensus and not rock the boat.)

Homeschooling was made illegal in Sweden a couple of years ago. Thousands of children of Swedish parents have had their children abducted by the State due to homeschooling. There has been little outcry. He does have one couple for a full interview on his show who have been trying to get their son back for 3-4 years. They have not seen him for as long. He was I believe 7 years old at the time he was kidnapped by the State -- while they were on a trip flying to India with their son. He was apparently taken either on the plane or at the airport, something like that. (I have not heard their interview, only him telling of it on April 14 show on C2C). They have been given reasons like, "He had cavities."

The Swedes pay more taxes than any other country in the world. Although they have socialized health care they must pay 33% of medical bills plus 25% tax on the bills on top of that.
