This was a world wide event. Any news or insights?

Strangely, I was at work in the midst of people and activity, and probably about full moon time, 11:30 EST, I whispered a hope and prayer for liberation, having forgotten the time it was supposed to be to meetup. I bet many souls did that, too, probably unknowingly :)
