Most folks know white wine goes well with fish.

Far fewer are aware that wine is often made with fish.

And milk.

And eggs.

Confused?

That is pretty outrageous, my parents make wine and it would be pretty stupid to have to do such things. Esp on a large scale and have to change everything over for something that really has no bases or potential danger associated with it. Leave it to some college girl to get all excited over nothing. :fish:

This is not really world shattering. All those things you mention are called 'finings', used to force fine particulates to settle as sediment and to clarify the wine. The fish guts are the same that were used to make jelly in mediaeval times before the discovery of animal/mammal gelatin. If I were you, I'd be much more concerned about the sodium and potassium metabisulphites and bleaches used to disinfect equipment and even fruit chemically.
