I've never really been a side-taker. I've never voted for anyone or anything and I don't identify with Republicans or Democrats. One of the liberal-leaning online news I've read for the last 10 years is salon.com. I like about them that they seem to always get at the heart of a matter, as a good journalist should. What I find interesting, is that lately (last 5-6 months or so), they seem to be almost like a soft-core version of Alex Jones. In addition to that, take a look at the comments on the site -- the people seem to slowly be coming around to the same ideas and the same conclusions.
Take a look at these articles and the viewer comments:
http://www.salon.com/food/nutrition/index.html?story=/food/francis_lam/2010/08/04/fructose_cancer_high_fructose_corn_syrup
http://www.salon.com/news/privacy/index.html?story=/tech/dan_gillmor/2010/08/04/body_scanning_mission_creep
http://www.salon.com/news/politics/birthers/index.html?story=/politics/war_room/2010/08/04/nation_of_birthers
This doesn't seem like the good liberal media that does what they're told. Perhaps the media is coming around...
