The Grand Elder of the Living Maya

Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj is the Grand Elder of the living Maya. His Maya name is Wakatel Utiw, which means “Wandering Wolf.” He is also called Grandfather Cirilo, or just “Tata,” which means grandfather in Spanish.

Wandering Wolf is the leader of the National Counsel of Elders Mayas, Xinca and Garifuna of Guatemala, Day Keeper of the Mayan Calendar, 13th generation Quiche Maya Spiritual Leader, a founder and Grand Elder of the Continental Council of Elders & Spiritual Guides of the Americas, an international lecturer on Maya culture and an Ambassador in the Guatemalan government who represents the rights and wishes of the indigenous pueblos and people.

About the webcast

In the two-hour presentation you will hear the Maya prophecies first-hand and you will be able to get insights into the Maya culture. He will talk about Mayan prophecies and about the times in which we are living. You will get clearer and more encouraging pictures of our future!
