Hi All,

Just to let you know that there will be higher than normal shooting star activity tomorrow and Friday 13th August.

Known as the 'Tears of St Lawrence' (because of it's coincidence with the feast on 10th August) this shower will be coming from the area in the sky just below Cassiopea (the big W).

So if you've got any wishes... now's your chance !

Best Wishes

K

I'm in North Dakota and been looking forward toward these for a couple months now. They say there will be several dozen per hour and to look in the North Eastern part of the night sky during the darkest hours of the early morning for maximum viewing.

Overcast in my area for about a month now. Can't see the sun, moon or stars.

We sat out for over an hour tonight- I would say I saw at least one dozen, a few of them especially bright and beautiful. :) I hope everyone gets a chance to spend some time outdoors under the stars the next few nights. Peace and blessings~

Even with the light pollution myself and my faithful friend Dude, the elusive one eyed cow cat, laid on our backs and enjoyed the show :)

Peaceful Journeys. Wookie
