These recent UFO doom movies done in U.S.,make me think (I'm european) even more of the importance of the Collective Inconscious (Jung)...Translating fears in to Art is a form of exorcism...

Yet another big Ufo movie release coming out and yet again this one is also based in LA (I mean whats up with that?). People in the Ufo community are questioning the benefit of this new movie.
It does seem very fear based indeed, especially as reiterates the recent erie warnings from physicist Steven Hawking about the hostile dangers of Ufo visitation...Long from the friendly days of ET and Encounters of the Third Kind many question if hollywood has some agenda with this new fear based approach to first contact .
The scary Hawking logic runs deep through the movie: "History shows us the more advanced Civilization always wins .. remember what happened when Christopher columbus invaded america? .. it didn't work out to good for the native's didn't it? .. well thats what's going to happen to humans when (Et's) arrive.. were done for"
We have to remember that this is all fiction - a quick reality check here is that Mr Hawking overlooked the simple fact that Ufos have been visiting us for hundreds of years so this means if they were hostile i can assure you that you wouldn't be reading this today!...
Skyline - Movie story..
After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them.
Official synopsis: In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth. Don't Look Up.
There is footage of the aliens launching their “human collecting pods” and it all seems quite grewsome. The shot of all of those people being sucked up into the alien machines screaming all the way is quite freaky.
The benefit from hollywood exploring the Ufo topic again does reflect the major change in public interest towards the subject and it does get people looking up the skies ... but does this fear based approach towards first contact outway all these benefits ?
