Just came across this video. Excuse if it was posted prior.

Perhaps This Might Just Be The Future Of Our Interaction With Technology.

A wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment.

"...ultimate 6th sense brain implant"... were the last words spoken in the vid. Where to I begin? Or does this speak for it self? At 7 minutes, the Grrrrr button was pushed.

No need to tap into your natural abilities that are awakening...

"Knock, knock."
"Who's there?"
" You."
"You, who?"
"Higher Self. Wakey, wakey."

Pattie Maes said that this handy-dandy machine that helps you pick out your toilet paper, will be out in 10 years. Wanna bet? This is a clever advertising campaign. And another way to keep tabs on us all.

Agreed Whitecrow.. More rather pointless technology designed, in effect, to keep us distracted, reliant upon it, and borderline lobotomized with regards to actual inner, human potential.

And of implants: absolutely No no no! Any race who would even need technology in order to boost the abilities of their natural faculty is insufficiently developed to warrant possessing it.

WhiteCrowBlackDeer--

My sentiments exactly--GRRRRR!

And if this is what the private sector has, imagine what the government has
(30 mph Cheetah robot, e.g.).

This reminds me of the Terminator way too much.

Bless us all.
Peace Love Joy & Harmony,
Genevieve

Growing up without a cell phone, how did we/I survive? Only a short leap before technology tell us what and how to think. Parameters on free will now isn't that nice. Implants have a time line also and they are used to control resistance; started with spears/arrows, moved on to knives/bullets, then to chemicals/toxins, now we are up to implanted electromagnetic devices how much more before we are not ourselves sentient? IMHO

Hi WhiteFeather. It takes an awful lot to make the little hairs on the back of my neck stand on end these days, but she managed to do it. The offer from a cutesy presenter, of a brain implant to induce artificially what is naturally mine by birthright, certainly made it happen.

That is some creepy s**t bro.

Cheers,
Fred

Yep Fred I agree. Scary Indeed. Where are we heading with this thing we call technology. I often wonder. Its time to appreciate Nature. Because this way could be a spiritual disaster. And just when we thought cell phones were bad ehh. Not even close compared to this baby.

hahahahahha I was cool with the technology (whether or not I would personally use it or not)...and then that final word "implant" had to pop out of her mouth. Oh, you nerdy knucklehead, thinking an implant is a good thing.

Dennis

{edit} to say that I agree with WhiteCrowBlackDeer's objection of reliance on technology rather than awakening the potential within us.

You know that sound : http://www.leahyguitars.com/Audioz/CarelessNeedleScratch.mp3 : that's the one I heard in my head when she said "implant."

After watching this, IMO transhumanism is farther along than we think, know and or assume :(

No thanks.

I had way more fun, as a kid, climbing trees (and falling out of them) or exploring as far as my legs or bike could take me in a day. Most kids today are addicted to technology and can't seem to function without it.

The words 'Brain implant' made some people worry, what worried me were the words 'optimal decision'. To allow pure heartless logic to control your perceptions would be a disaster. Rudolf Stiener described Satan as a logical being driven by intellect, i'm sure he would make the 'optimal decision' for us all if he had the chance. These people are very excited about this device for sure, but their excitement will not allow them to be philosophical about the larger repercussions to humanity. And of course they trust their bosses. The wheels are turning here, and the wheel was a good invention, not so good for Catherine.

Let's do away with first impressions/gut reactions and replace it all with a fake 6th sense google search.

This is where they want you! Dumbed waaaaaaaay down. Just think, you won't have to exert much, you'll be told what to think, when to think and how to think. The little black box is your all to the future and without it you will be shunned/disenfranchised. Resist the slaughter/destruction of the your Spirit! Technology will not provide wisdom just reaction. IMHO

My 6th sense said use "Startpage" rather than "Google". Westhill, I did as you instructed because I always do what I am told. http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/smiley_faces/roflmao-smiley-face.gif (http://emoticoner.com)

I did find something interesting. I noticed that "TED Ideas Worth Spreading" was posted first up. Which is the same as the other video. They've taken a silly video and overlaid a subtle idea implant. Toss in a flag symbol "MIT" (found in title) and it becomes the what's hip for the brainiacs. Hook them, hook the semi-comatose and the rest of the mushy-brains follow.

IMO, this is a calculated design. All part of a campaign to prepare the unconscious masses for the latest must have gadget. Hum, why has Venus flytrap popped in my head?

It took me 01:30 to totally dislike her [presentation].
Actually, it was instant - was only giving her a chance. Didn't make it to the implant thing.
Plus, i didn't need the device for it. What does that tell us.

Beware of pinstripes.
