This "movie" looks like a vent for anger. Blame the idiots...yea that's right..... don't go looking for the masters.
Cocain snorting wild boys in the city are NOT the problem, in many ways, they are just very much "luckier" versions of ourselves. The playing field was set out for them just as it was set out for us. I saw just as wild a frenzy among my neighbors with their house buying and selling as anything that went on in the 'city'.
The top crooks blew the start whistle around about 1982 and now they've blown the stop whistle. The big chip scoops are out and clawing in the winnings. Sorry folks, you lose. Wana-try-again?

The "big fish" are being thrown to the mob by the bigger fish. The mob will be happy and the bigger fish even happier since the mob will have averted itself from them.

I knew the director, Charles Ferguson, years ago. He's an "Insider" and watched him make the shift from Silicon Valley multi-millionaire, to documentary film-maker.
He got access to the people interviewed on this film because, he knows them all personally including Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod and most of Clinton's personal White House staff.
Don't buy into it.
Ferguson is actually on their side, he's just making films because it's his new hobby and he can afford to do it and the financial meltdown is a good easy topic to tackle. His first film on the Iraq war "No End in Sight" was another exercise for his ego - do you see him doing anything about it or joining the activists? No, and you won't.
He's also chummy with the founders of Google and the likes of Larry Ellison - do you honestly think someone who runs in those circles really gives a damn what people on the other end of the financial and social spectrum are doing?
If you watch the film, he speaks to a Latino woman in San Jose whose dream of buying a house was shattered because of the housing market disaster. It's the most possibly emotional part of the film and Charles made it as short as possible and it was quite stunted too in delivery when it should have thrown a heavy impact. It didn't. Why? Because Ferguson is emotionally dead, empty and constipated inside, that's why.
Save your money and watch it for free on TV sometime. Don't ever trust people who are insiders suddenly acting like outsiders but still hanging out with insiders.
