Nope, this here obscure allegory refers to to the event of autonomous synthesis occurring within a dependency pyramid threatening the "glue." I would expect those who grow their own food to eventually be the target of harassment, for their own safety of course, Spirulina being the perfect banana peel for a law enforcement crusade. You may trace your negative interpretation of my reaction to the use of the word, hippy. It is merely prophetic, as I would be willing to endure the moniker for a helping of Superfood. In my secret (unmentioned, ergo, secret until now) world, I am thinking that making thin aquariums out of recycled sliding glass doors to bomb the hood with spirulina may be one of my charitable acts for a world gone south of intelligent. Thx 4 axin'.

There are at least two places to buy a live spirulina culture, that I know of, when I first researched this topic.

The one in the video, and another.

There are different strains, so watch which one you purchase and attempt to cultivate, is my understanding.

As always..research is the order of the day.

This stuff is potent. I've been using it ever since I found out about it.

To make your own is apparently the deal, that store bought vs live culture is the same as frozen fruit vs live fruit picked off the tree and consumed immediately, while still beside the tree. A huge difference.

Any idea what the difference in cost would be between taking a tablespoon of the powder every day, and making enough of your own to take the same amount of fresh algae daily (including buying the startup equipment, algae and nutrients)?
I've been taking the powder for years now--Nutrex brand which is about $28 for a pound, and that lasts me around 2 months.
Thanks for the info!

No idea how much that would cost. The first video in the thread covers the area of production vs time, so that may be the thing to watch. The deal is the potency is much different. If you make your own, it is live and fresh, which is apparently the way to go.
