View Full Version : A Very Nice Symbolic Representation of Our Relationship With Ourself

I found this symbol very easy to relate to.

I understood it to mean you have a relationship between a higher concious self, an unconcious mind and a concious mind.

http://www.ancienthuna.com/3_selves.htm

As I see it my unconcious mind recieves insight from a higher conciousness,

That insight is acknowledged by my concious mind.

It sees what my unconscious mind can't.

It then becomes an issue for my conscious mind to help unconcious mind understand.

This is where I had trust issues.

I plummetted down from a new understanding and felt s*** for a day or two.

Just as soon as I understood what had caused that trust issue I was in receipt of yet another Truth.

If I am struggling with a particular blockage it is not long before another coincidental helping hand comes my way, the more I believe in myself the more my self can interact the messages it holds.

There can not be one without the other without the other.

All three are interconnected but none can communicate without the other.

Hi Zoe,

I like this diagram. For me it is a little like viewing an eclipse. The conscious mind sits inbetween the 'higher consciousness' and the unconscious mind, and prevents your unconscious mind merging with pure consciousness itself.

Would it help to view it like this?

Despite the conscious mind, insight does occur when the mind is sufficiently stilled, and awareness is transmitted from pure consciousness (the higher consciousness) to the unconscious mind.

This insight is in the form of pure awareness, non verbal.

When this insight occurs, the conscious mind is stirred into action, and responds by interpreting the insight using words and emotions, which are the tools of the conscious mind. So at this stage, the insight flows 'upwards' (according to the diagram) to the conscious mind.

However, in interpreting the insight via words and emotions, the pure meaning is lost (except that it remains in the level of the unconscious).

You could view the conscious minds interpretation of the pure insight as a dream-like phenomenon.

Love, bram

Y'all might find this guy as interesting as I do. (Serge Kahili King) He explains Huna as well as anyone does, and has some great videos. I found Huna 4 years ago. About a year before I found William Buhlmans Books, on out of body experience; "Adventures Beyond The Body", and "The Secret Of The Soul", through which I learned to OBE, and then went to my High Self, and then made the permanent connection between High Self and Spirit self. Huna helped immensely with my OBE's. Me and my three selves are now one. These three selves, are the Holy Trinity, that religion has been trying to explain for thousands of years. High Self - Spirit Self - Physical Self, we are one.

You may find what I have written about it on two threads named for Buhlmans books, under Spiruality.

Here are some links that I think you might enjoy:

This seems a good site:

When you craft an effective HUNA prayer action; each of the three selves has a distinct job to do. If the three selves are out of harmony; your prayer actions are likely to fail. You have to merge the three levels of consciousness. Your ‘Aumakua protects and guides your through life. Your Uhane needs to grow spiritually, and train your Unihipili. Your Unihipili does not like to be forced into paths that are outside the Unihipili’s realm of experience. So to encourage your Unihipili to walking this path; you need to be spiritual part of the time, then do things occasionally that your Unihipili enjoys; so your Unihipili will not feel that you are treating it with respect.
