Please can people add to this thread recommendations for good documentaries or other types of media? It saves going through heaps of searching, if something already comes recommended.
I would like to watch something ATM on HAARP, underground bases and other kinds of underground facilities if anyone has anything to recommend. Please just post here anything that you know is good on ANY subject at all! Or ask for recommendations for a particular subject.
I saw this a little while ago and thought it was very good:

One thing I never watch is Movies. If anything is added to this thread let it be Non fiction. A purely non fiction place of recommendation. I just don't have the time or patience to watch 2 hours of someone else's fantasies (movies)!!!
yeah just had a look at that thread which is about movies - I was looking more for documentaries and interviews and such. Educational as opposed to entertainment was what I was getting at for this thread.

Add your documentary to the ones on the above thread, it has 3 pages of them starting another thread would sort of defeat the purpose of consolidation...
& I think you should rethink your position on "other peoples fantasies", Hollywood films have much more to them than most think, I posted 3 or 4 documentaries covering symbology and Hollywood in that thread.

Thanks but no thanks. This thread has a different purpose and vein. I'm not into movies - have your movies - do as you will with them. What I am looking for is Non fiction. Documentaries and education as opposed to entertainment and movies. And people can request what they want info on and others can reply. If you don't like that then you are free to not participate in it, simply put. I don't want to add my documentary to the other thread. And I don't like being told what to do.
And what you think about my position on movies matters to me not. Jeez mate. I suddenly feel like I'm in the army or summat. leaf me alone.

Just trying to be helpful.. 85% of that thread is exactly what your looking for ;)
I'd say in the 4 pages there are maybe 8 "Hollywood" movies, the rest are documentaries / "non-fiction"

DNA recommended these to me. There are three volumes altogether. I am almost through the second one and it has taken ages because each one is almost 3 hours long!!! Takes a while to get through but has things I don't think you can find elsewhere.
Volume 1 part 1

Volume 2 and Volume 3 are in the playlists of the same youtube channel.

According to Ptaah, the pyramids were built 70,000 years ago by a remnant of space travelers who possesed the technology of levitation, ..only a handful had this ability and were worshipped as Gods or those who from heaven came .

Hey Shade,
I really liked this one. It talks about the pyramids as well. Itīs a 3 hours documentary, but itīs worth a watch.

Before people start arguing about it, I must say that it doesnīt debunk the whole ancient aliens hypothesis, but it makes very strong arguments against some statements made in the ancient aliens TV show.
Itīs a very good docu. The argumentation is very concise and they made sure to make all their sources of information available for further study.
Cheers,

Another very good documentary, about the issue of drug legalization (specially cannabis) and the war on drugs fiasco.
The arguments are mostly by Brazilian ex president, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, and itīs narrated by Morgan Freeman.
Iīve posted it on another thread but people didnīt care much about it. I guess people are more worried about aliens and this kind of stuff than about our current social-political scenario:

It's my idea/theory , all roads lead back to underground bases. The secret black projects need a place and people to be carried out, away from spying eyes, and curious reporters, One could work on various things and not be seen coming and going, access inside limited, railcars connecting them all would let you get what you need and never have to be top side. Futhermore it shows that mind control is at work, If I talk of underground bases people think I'm crazy , they won't even consider that bases exist unless CNN tells them . I feel exposing the fact the bases exsist could lead to the masses wondering what's inside, who's running it, who paid for it, and why do they need so many ?? The very thing the ptb don't want , focused attention on their agenda, and people talking around the water cooler at work.

How can one ascertain if its fiction or non fiction? Many authors of books are pursuaded/forced to make real/authentic paranormal stories fiction. In my opinion non fiction labeled materials out there are categorized as fiction to protect the innocent sleeping minded ones. Just a thought...... if you will.

"The Pyramid Code" from a few years back is pretty good. I just watched them recently and thought they were pretty good (ep3 is pretty dull though). Considers a few new ideas and makes you think a bit. I like the one guy's theory about how the pyramids may have provided a type of ethereal energy to keep people in an elevated state of consciousness.

Most of humanity is totally oblivious about who we are, where we came from and where are we going. A person who is still asleep doesn't even want to know about these things, because it forces you to take responsibility of your actions. Even if you're even slightly interested in (real) history and spirituality then these videos are a must watch. You owe it to yourself.

... We need threads to discuss all these doccos now because they just pose so many questions.
more importantly, there is so many connections to be considered that haven't been rightfully considered yet. The more you can bring info together to one place the more chance of these connections being made.
I have been fully understanding a little better now since watching that "Pyramid Code" series, the spiritual element and the past "Golden Ages" and potentially Dec 21st 2012. as Ac Tah the Mayan guy explains about what is really happening how the elite scientists are using the energy of that day for their own purposes. How this all relates to pyramids, the Mayans and the natural cycles of human consciousness - the vibrational explanations ... it all adds up to a single story ... One where one group doesn't humanity to be "enlightened" and another who does, and all the interactions between the two and their quests for humanity ... everything becomes simpler, the bigger the picture.
So that's my odd way of saying this thread is a good idea. The more perspectives in one place, the better. ;)

I have just started on the first vid here, and am already unimpressed. Totally full of ... well, bullsh*t. For instance the lady takes us around explaining how the rocks show machine tool marks. I recommend watching Ancient Aliens Debunked for information on the saws the Egyptians had available. They could saw granite quite easily. That lady is speaking totally from superstition and misinformation.."oh that's a hole and I feel they were doing something with heat in it oh and that was a sea bed and the Nile moved along here and because this pyramid is on a hill they can't have pulled stones up with ropes, because you know, we all know they levitated the rocks with white powder gold and farts (meanwhile you can plainly see the slopes up which the rocks were pulled.. on sleds mind)".. you can't just talk from what you feel occurred or was so... it's about what good investigation shows, and real archaeology shows that Egyptians had the tools to saw granite perfectly. Doccos like this are irresponsibly showering an unsuspecting audience with detestable misinformation.
Carmen Boulter Phd? The fact that she's going around saying sh*t like this gives Phds a bad name. While also confusing people into thinking she has something educated to say, in that she's a Phd.. she MUST have an educated viewpoint. Well this is one thing to be learned from this vid, no... Phds are no guarantee that a person is educated.
It's all speculation - the chambers were tuned to frequencies and body cavities. It's a nice theory but it's purely some idea. To get something to actually be tuned that well, and be that big, and have harmonics that actually work sound wise .. tuned beyond a purely representational field, is something that I do not think was achieved. Or even that is was trying to be achieved. And even if it was.. they have presented no evidence but some old guy telling some story, and that's IT.
And the line near the end "there's weird chemical burns on the walls" (evidence obviously of some giant explosion). That's all they say and some quick shot of a wall. Like seriously. Crap at its worst this is. You can't do that in a professional sense. you have to have actual information, evidence, study, not a pure speculation about something that you don't even know what it is!!!!!! what they think LOOKS like chemical burns could be absolutely ANYTHING from mould to rust to erosion to paint... they don't know and neither do we... but we are left thinking oooo a Phd says there's chemical burns on the walls therefore a bomb must have gone off in there or something. ooooh, now THAT'S history for you... ooo.
Documentaries like this give alternative research a bad name. It is poorly written, poorly presented, and filled with groundless suppositions presented as fact.
Seriously - very poorly researched piece of work. Burn it. Burn it in the fires of absurd and embarrassing pieces of attempted documentaries. Who regulates this crap? Personal responsibility to educate oneself.

Thanks for your input Shade, but there is a lot more to what she is saying than what she is saying --it is much more interesting when one has a lot of other info to go with it. For example the boring of holes through solid granite in some of the much older cuts indicate a speed of cut we couldn't match without high tech ultrasonic techniques. If you combine that knowledge then the types of cutting of granite the ancients were able to do, and then realize that the further you go back the higher the quality and more impressive the work, it leaves questions still unanswered.
I am not remotely convinced any pyramid was build by manually cutting and carrying 30 ton stones with primitive tools. It never happened that way any which way you look at it, and certainly didn't happen for the building of Macchu Piccu. But yet they somehow did it. I'm fairly certain that 30,000 years after dragging stones across dirt and sand -- the tracks would be covered or eroded by then ... in fact it is not even possible the still exist unless they made the Pyramids a couple years ago - even then I'm sure the tracks would be gone already. Your sled tracks comment is more nonsensical than any of your judgements against.
The official story of our ancient past is yours to believe if you wish but any real scrutiny causes that to fall apart real fast. This series looks at the points where it is known that scrutiny falls apart in the "official" stories, and makes a few considerations otherwise. Sorry the shows intention flew over your head - you clearly didn't understand what this series is about.
I guess one must have interest and knowledge to be able to relate. That's fine by me. ;)
This series was created without interference by mass media, and the "establisher's" of our history. That alone says something ...
