View Full Version : Will the new pope be the last?

Good evening to you all.

Background
As we all are aware of by now, pope Benedictus XVI has renounced his ministry as Bishop of Rome, Successor of Saint Peter or Supreme Pontiff if you will. This rather peculiar event has sparked plenty of discussion and controversy around the globe, seeing as how it historically is regarded commonplace for a appointed pope to serve as such until his demise (the last past predecessor to do so was Gregorius XII in 1415). Although the discussion these past days has been particularly centred around the "why?" aspect of the phenomenon, the future of the holy see, seems to have reached the crossroads of a very unheeded point in it's history as one of the most powerful religious institutions of our time. If we assume, for the sake of argument, that the main reason for the current pope's retirement is because he truly deems himself too physically and mentally unfit to carry out the duties of his ministry (do keep in mind that Benedictus XVI from a historical perspective is one of the oldest popes to date in office), and that the scandals regarding "Vatileaks" and failures to deal with the widespread abuse of children within the organizational ranks, only constitute minor reasons for this peculiar occurrence. Disregarding the possibility of a larger conspiracy regarding Benedictus XVI, does not however resolve what I now would like to put up for further discussion.

Saint Malachy and the 112 popes
For those who are especially versed in the subject of theology, Saint Malachy, also known as Archbishop of Armagh between the years 1132-1137, is no stranger. Besides being attributed the performance of several miracles after his death, he is known for his alleged prophecy of the 112 popes. The prophecy basically states that there will be 112 popes in our time, and that the 112th pontificate will, as mentioned in the catholic encyclopaedia "...nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The end" The seven hills is a known reference to Rome, and "The end" is the mark of the end of the prophecy. The name of the pope to whom this passage is dedicated is referenced as "Peter The Roman" who is introduced with the sentence "In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit..." Implicitly one would interpret the final sentence of the prophecy as the beginning of the apocalypse, correlating with the dawn of ministry of the last pope. Also note how the "tribulations" and "persecution" mentioned might be a reference to the modern day public relations crisis the Roman Catholic Church has been experiencing (for instance the numerous cases of child molestation, "vatileaks" with it's claims of widespread corruption within the highest structures and ranks of the organization).

Although most historians have disregarded this so called prophecy of the 112 popes as a complete aberration due to the fact that it hasn't been very consistent, nor accurate since the 16th century in the matter of describing the popes that succeeded the office with accuracy. Also arguing that it probably was written during that time, which falsifies the claim that the prophecy had anything to do with Saint Malachy in the first place. However, the intriguing circumstance we face with the retirement of Benedictus XVI (the 111th pope), is that we very soon will be recognizing the last prophesied pope on that list (assuming there hasn't been any miscalculation, considering the very real possibility of unlisted predecessors to Benedict XVI), Peter The Roman, the 112th pope. He is sometimes (more commonly) referred to as the black pope of revelation. Some people interpret the "black" as an adjective for evil, and others for the actual colour of the persons skin. Let's however be clear that this is NOT necessarily a biblical reference seeing as how the bible doesn't make any reference about the papacy whatsoever. However some people do interpret the whore/beast of Babylon as a metaphor for the Roman Catholic Church, which has it's seat on the seven hills (again meaning Rome).

The Leo Zagami interview and the black pope of revelation
As this event has been unfolding I've taken the time to surf the web in order to find out more about who the likely replacement for Benedictus XVI might be. I've stumbled upon many speculations that there are four likely successors to the office at this point. One of these names struck a chord with me, as I could swear that I'd heard/seen this name mentioned before; Francis Arinze Cardinal Bishop of Velletri-Segni, who interestingly enough is of African descent. So is another likely candidate by name of Peter Turkson, who is from Ghana. Now Francis Arinze on the other hand, is an ethnic Nigerian. This made me immediately think of the interview Bill and Kerry made with Leo Zagami back in February of 2008 where Kerry made a hasty mention of the black pope of revelation, asking Leo Zagami whether that man would be Adolfo Nicolás, the current superior general of the Jesuits (sometimes referred to as "the black pope"). Leo Zagami promptly answered that black pope of revelation wasn't a reference the black pope of the Jesuits, but in fact was a reference to this cardinal Francis Arinze who "is black" and "is from Nigeria" and holds the same position Benedictus XVI held before he was appointed pope, himself being "ready to become the next pope". Watch for yourselves, starting at approximately 28:30.

Now I do not wish this to be a discussion about Leo Zagami's testimony in terms of it's overall validity and reliability, but his mention of Francis Arinze (who by the way even was a considered successor to John Paul II in 2005), in correlation with the overall stipulated thesis in this interview that the elite manipulate events in order to bring about prophetic occurrences in a manner which serves their purpose/agenda, begs the question. The prophecy of the 112 pope is acknowledged by the catholic church so what does this mean agenda-wise for Roman-Catholic oligarchs of the world and it's allies and servants? Will they use this opportunity for the realization and manifestation of this prophecy? What are the implications of this? (Why now?) Might the resignation of Benedictus XVI be attributed to the elite's wishes to "hurry things along, and get things moving" ? Is the possible instalment of the black pope of revelation (or the possible 112th pope) is being made to correlate the event with the commencement of the seven years of tribulation, which Leo Zagami mentions during the course of the interview as occurring between the years 2012-2019? How does this effect the timeline that we are on? If Francis Arinze gets to be elected as the new pope, what can we expect to happen? Now I'm no bible thumper, nor do I consider myself a theist. However this feels like an important event.

Let's discuss :)

You have a good memory, well done ... !

My intuition made me aware of the confusion they could create with the term "Black pope" and normally I am also
able to recall quite some details from earlier snippets I heard before. But hey, you are the champion. :first:

I expect them to deviate from the traditional old white European male this time ...

After all, now there is a first black US president so there can be a black (as in skin colored) pope too.

Look at this List of movies/TV series:

Deep Impact (1998) - Morgan Freedman
2012 (2009) - Danny Glover
The event (2010) - Blair Underwood

In all these movies there is a black president while living through tumultuous events, making shocking announcements.

Although the contents of the website http://poleshift.ning.com/ will be controversial to many here the following
snippet linked to the pope's resignation caught my attention:

Of course Pope Benedict is struggling with poor health, he is 85 years old! That he had a minor stroke and is taking heart medication is hardly a reason to resign. The rumors are rampant that Obama is getting ready announce the truth about Planet X, aka Nibiru, nearby. After months of delay, during which Obama tried to set his house in order, anticipating political chaos after the announcement (when little work would be done in Washington DC), he is again proceeding. The Pope of course is in the loop, and knows what will follow at the Vatican. The faithful will want to be assured of their rapture, the priesthood will want advice, and royalty will want to inquire into special dispensation or powers the Pope may secretly have.

In short, the announcement will mean a lot of WORK for anyone who might be caught as Pope during this time. It is not in this Pope’s nature to be that person. If anyone thinks this all seems to be fulfilling Saint Malachy’s predictions on the last Pope, we agree! The Catholic Church is already in trouble, a trend started even before all the pedophile scandals. The faithful have long suspected the Third Fatima secret was about the End Times and will resent the obvious lies by the Church elite. It is not just the earthquakes that will ravage Italy and the world during the passage that will end the Church. It will be their failure to lead.

On that website they firmly believe since October/November last year that Barack Obama is going to make an announcement soon (about Nibiru).
According to them it has been postponed for a variety of reasons ....

It doesn't have to mean anything but it certainly is an interesting pattern.

Francis Arinze was born on 1 November 1932, so he is in his 80's too.
Then there is an interesting paragraph on Wikipedia:

Homosexuality

In 2003 at Georgetown University, Arinze seemed to liken homosexuality with pornography, fornication and adultery. According the Christian moral, all of them are serious sins. There were protests at Georgetown in reaction to this

Is this going to be a problem to become pope ? Nah, probably not. He was a popular candidate before.

Haha, yes that was indeed the value of including the snippet ... so I placed that side note as a kind of disclaimer
to make sure it is not taken literally and seriously.

Either they purposely leaked a relation or they want us to believe there is a relation.

Or it is just maybe Pope Benedict is already the last pope... and this coming March there will be a fiasco or an unexpected event in the Vatican that will cancel the election of the new pope? And this whole "Black Pope" is all a smoke screen for all the people to be distracted on what event that will be coming ahead? Just my 2 cents

Also, God can be black..... remember that Morgan Freeman played "God" in the movie "Bruce Almighty" and its sequel "Evan Almighty"....

Getting back to the St. Malachy prophecy... I think it's a pretty safe bet that when he talks about the destruction of the city on seven hills, that it is a reference to the Catholic Church, and not the city of Rome. After all, Rome could be destroyed tomorrow and the Catholic Church would continue on. In the book of Revelation, Babylon is referred to as the "Great City" but it is clearly not a city, and the same thing with "Jerusalem". The "New Jerusalem" is described as a cube, which is a reference to vibrational patterns of sacred geometry.... and a cube is the next step up from a pyramid, which is clearly the shape of the present age.

As for the "terrible judge" who will judge his people, I have a pretty good hunch it is referring to the Demiurge of this world, YHWH, who is also going to be judged and found deficient! His "people" are the Dark Cabal!

I think what we're looking at is the destruction of Abrahamism.... good riddance!

In other words, it's all good :o

Well, yes and no ... It can be good to get rid of it but on the other hand this IS the agenda of the NWO guys.
They will replace it by a new NWO religion ...

So the momentum is there but we have to be alert to take the right turn where they want to take a left turn. ;) (IMHO)

That's exactly right. I don't think they are expecting their God, Jehovah, to be judged, but that is exactly what all the Gnostic prophecies say. Yaldabaoth gets a serious wake-up call that he is not the Most High God.

Their answer has been to kill all the Gnostics... and with millions, perhaps billions of people "waking up", they'll just try to kill us all. That's why they are doing everything in their power with chemtrails, fluoride and everything else to keep us dumbed down and spiritually dead. But what's going to happen is that eventually, for them, it will be like trying to bail out of the Titanic with a shot glass. The flood of knowledge will overwhelm their lies.

Considering that they have had the Abrahamic religions, basically the Western world, worshiping Satan for thousands of years, and the masses, for the most part, would never openly and willingly worship Satan if they knew what they were doing, if they are going to introduce some kind one-world religion of Satan worship, something would have to give because too many people will have been awakened to the ruse of religious dogma.

If it's Lucifer-worship they're going to introduce, it's a vast improvement over YHWH, imo........

It should be said that prophetic prose tends to be inherently structured within a very colourful and dramatic discourse, consequently the interpretation it yields also tends to somehow reflect the lingual premise of the prophecy itself, which is very broad. This could arguably be the central quandary of any famous prophecy. The use of language, whether through parables, allegories or metaphors leaves you with a broad spectra of assessments, which always require a certain deconstruction or "boiling down" from their abstract levels in order to fit a realistic and plausible scenario, manifesting as a rational or logically consistent real world event. In this regard, the functionality of this particular prophecy, seems to elude me. If I were Peter the Roman, destined to lead the Roman Catholic institution into apostasy, who would benefit from me doing that?

Black can also be translated as "dark"... and any connotations one wants to attribute to it ;)

(Is starting to sound like something out of "The Omen" :D) Coincidentally, this year, 2013, using numerology, fulfills the 666 Prophecy of the Anti-Christ, if you're into that, ie:

"the 6th Day of the 6th Month of the 6th Year"

2013 = 2 + 0 + 1 + 3 = 6
sixth month = June = 6
sixth day = 6 (when you add up the date, which could be the 6th, 15th or 24th = 6

= 666

Watch this video. It was posted on the 11th and and here is a brief summary of what she goes over..
-Since the Vatican was declared it's own Capitol there have been 7 Kings(Pope's) since then.
-In the bible it says the 8th King is the beast
-It also says that a Star will fall and create a huge pit, and the beast will arise from that pit.
-A meteor just hit in Russia AFTER the Pope's resignation(Star falling reference)

I have never been into biblical references and such but this one is kind of eerie.

St Malachy The Ominous
Pope Benedict’s sudden resignation has stunned the world, and pundits are searching for motivations beyond his plea of old age. To complicate matters, there’s also a strange 900-year-old prophecy involved.

According to a famous prophecy made by St Malachy in the 12th century, there would be 112 more popes. Pope Benedict, who resigned, was the 111th. And whoever is elected Pope in the next few days will be the 112th. During the papacy of this final pope, says the prophecy, Rome—and the Church—will be wiped out! To quote its ominous words: “The City of Seven Hills shall be destroyed, and the dreadful Judge shall judge the people.”

Rubbish, one might say. We’ve heard a lot of lunatic Doomsday predictions, and the Mayan prophecy is still fresh in our minds. But this time there’s one small difference: St Malachy actually described each of the 111 popes till date with eerie accuracy, summing up each one with a vivid Latin phrase. And so far he’s never been wrong.

For example, he described Pope Paul VI (1963-78) as ‘Flos Florum’, meaning ‘Flower of Flowers’. Paul VI’s coat of arms, as it happened, featured three iris blossoms. His successor, Pope John Paul I, was described as ‘De Medietate Lunae’, or ‘Of the half moon’. This was puzzling, because the description just didn’t seem to fit. But one month later, when John Paul I suddenly died, one realised that he’d become pope at the time of the half moon and died by the next half moon. His successor, Pope John Paul II, was described as ‘De Labore Solis’, or ‘Of the eclipse of the sun’: it turned out he was born during a solar eclipse!

People have been talking about the prophecy of the popes with increasing frequency since the 1970s, as the end of the line drew closer. In 2005, when John Paul II, the 110th pope, died, people looked at the prophecy again, in anticipation, and found the next pope described as ‘Gloria Olivae’, or ‘The Glory of the Olive’. But what did this mean? Some people thought it somehow signified Israel; others said it meant the new pope would be a Benedictine, an order symbolised by the olive. Sure enough, the conclave ultimately elected Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, a Benedictine priest from Germany, who—to seemingly reinforce the prophecy—took the name Pope Benedict xvi, after the founder of the order.

St Malachy, a clairvoyant bishop, while on a visit to Rome in 1139 CE, is said to have fallen into a trance and seen a vision of all the popes till the end of time. When his prophecies were published, the Vatican tried—for obvious reasons—to suppress them, but failed. In his final prophecy, St Malachy refers to a pope he calls ‘Petrus Romanus’, or ‘Peter the Roman’, adding darkly, “In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will lead his sheep through many tribulations, at the end of which the City of Seven Hills shall be destroyed, and the dreadful Judge shall judge the people.”

So which one of the current papal candidates is ‘Peter the Roman’? Sure enough, one of the front-runners is named Cardinal Peter Turkson, so it could very possibly be him! But, more importantly, what will be the ominous “many tribulations” that the people will be led through? What will be the events leading up to that ultimate “destruction”? And who is the “dreadful Judge” who will appear in judgement? Cardinal Turkson is now aged 65, so we can presumably expect the scenario to be played out anytime within the next twenty years—before, say, 2033.

Cardinal Turkson may not necessarily be the one, though, for Peter means ‘the rock’, and that could be a metaphor, not simply a name. As in the case of Nostradamus, St Malachy’s clues are sometimes cryptic, and become clear only after the fact. Pope Benedict XV, for example, was referred to as ‘Religio Depopulata’, or ‘Religion laid waste’, and when he became pope in 1914, nobody could understand the relevance of this. However, as his papacy unfolded, World War I and the Russian revolution made the meaning of the phrase terribly clear. But regardless of who the next pope will be, one thing is evident: the prophecy mentions only 112 more popes. There is no 113th.

Top 10 Significant Numbers in Biblical Numerology

http://listverse.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/cima_da_conegliano2c_god_the_father-1.jpg

No surprise, but 1 is obviously used throughout the Bible to indicate one thing only, God Himself. “The one true God.” The number 1 Commandment is “Thou shalt have no other gods besides me.” Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one.” This was to remind the Jews of the time not to worship multiple gods like all those civilizations around them. 1 is enough. Numerology seems to be more than just coincidence when we consider the chapter and verse, 6:4. 6 plus 4 equals 10 (see #5).

Just as God is 1, so Satan is 1 single entity by himself until the last book. Whenever someone is alone in the wilderness, whether it is Moses, or Elijah, or Jesus, they are not really alone, but are, in fact, never closer to the one, true God than at that moment. Jesus is abandoned in the end and left all alone, and he says as much to his Disciples, then reminds them that he will not be alone, but the Father will be with him.

Hi! Just thought I'd throw in the "Lost Book of Nostradamus" prophecy about the Pope in this time. That's the book with all the symbolic illustrations done by Nostradamus(or was it his son?). Anyways, there's the picture of the pontiff falling off a cliff. I believe scholars of Nostradamus(which I am not) placed this symbolism around our time now. So perhaps this could be the last pope?
