I am producing a docu and I need a list of strategy games, this includes board games from way back when.
And if you can plz provide pix, this will help me out greatly.
I already have two potential songs to put in my docu, and a bunch of public domain presidential speeches.

I just need names and pix of war games.
Thank you so much in advance.

I don't know if this counts, but I thought this was one of the best video game intros ever... lol
here are some classic lines from it... (lots more...)

"Alert Zulu Command to our situation...."
"Alpha-niner... scramble!..."

What's that documentary about?

Anyways, I think "Command & Conquer" is a classic in that genre, there have been numerous titles by now... >> pics (https://www.google.de/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=B28&rls=org.mozilla:de:official&q=command+%26+conquer&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.42553238,d.Yms&biw=1280&bih=667&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=JdcfUbLzFYOo4ASMtYHgDA)

- ''Supreme Commander'' another classic RTS

- ''Total Annihilation'' early RTS like C&C defined the genre. Like SC. it's robots

and AI battling it out.

- ''Company of Heroes'' WWII real time strategy game; http://www.gamersnet.nl/images/nieuws/2009/1243362467/scrshot4.jpg

Years ago I dated a guy who played this. The game is based on strategy and alliances that are handled anonymously by the game master through emails. It was really fascinating watching it develop.

What's that documentary about?

As my folks have said to me many times, never speak your dream above a whisper, or someone will take it them selves.

My dream is for humanity to be free, and I dare say it without superstition. :P
But I respect your decision, I know how it feels when it's just not the right time yet to reveal something. :)

www.boardgamegeek.com has all you need to know about stratergy boardgames

Board Game Categories

The current toplist
(Twilight Struggle is a good game - I played stratergy games for 45 years and its one of the best so far. I played computer games since Apple II, 35 years - so ask anything you need to know).

PS I now remeber that one of my early favorite computer games was:
Archon (1983)(Electronic Arts) - Its strange now to discover what Archons are.

You have here (http://www.gamespot.com/games.html?platform=5&category=real-time+strategy&mode=all&sort=views&dlx_type=all&sortdir=asc&official=all) extensive list of war strategy games ..
as im in game making industry for some extensive time and since young kid HC gamer, i think i played/tested most of them. I must say that i never played so much evil game as EVE online.
It is mostly humans based MMO and that makes it more evil than computer AI with deep politics, economy, mercenaries, killings...

some trailers of EVE:

Total Annihilation ftw :D :D :D If you end up enjoying that game, they are finally making a new one called Planetary Annihiliation :D

I dont recommend playing eve online unless you wish to discover how dishonest, backstabbing and unkind people can be. Alot of people play that game for the pure enjoyment of knowing they are upsetting/ruining another persons day.
