Whenever there's the term "smart", it's not you who is. :nerd:

"Bold and creative"... crutches.

Thank goodness, a parody.
I really thought folks thought this would be a good idea.
saw another post of this on a thread the other day.
What next?
Google eyeball! Yes, you too can have your eyeball removed and replaced by google eyeball. Just one easy payment of 50,000 and your hooked up to the world!
Soon to come, google ear. Hear everything you ever wanted to hear but couldn't get close enough to eavesdrop...

I liked the happy go lucky doublethink: "You don't have to do anything, yeah!" And then, the trial run is for people who are "bold and creative". (LOL)

It will be a novelty and lots of fun, especially when the Google visual interactive chip is offered. But then what, once that becomes so common place, it quickly becomes the only way to access the www(hive mind)? How many pay phones do we see around any more? Everything is rapidly going paperless(banking, business transactions, etc,), and computer access(thus the chip) will be practically the only way to interact with the world.

A global Venus Fly Trap comes to mind.

"Bold and creative"... crutches. My favorite is the Smart car. Really nothing smart about it all. My car, which is three times the size, gets better MPG.

This reminds me of that movie "Strange Days" and the "jacking in" headset.

Brainstorm is where most who are interested in this technology want to go. They are not thinking of any aspect of a 'self driven universe' where they are both participant and driving force. Still the deep subjective version of an objective stance. Therefore they think that 'brainstorm' is the way to go, no consideration of it being a problem as the awareness is not there to make that decision in a state of more complete knowledge.

It's very difficult to find clips from this film. In this clip, Christopher Walken has hacked into a government site to see what the government has done with his amazing device for full experience transfer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainstorm_%281983_film%29

When you watch the film, if you can find it, you see why it is so difficult to find. Also that Natalie Wood died in the time period surrounding the making of this film. Her death, regarded since 1983 as being accidental... has just recently, this past month, been re-opened into what I think is a wrongful death or even a homicide investigation.

How deep does this rabbit hole go? The director's resume:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Trumbull

A hint of one of his more well known effects works: "A new life awaits you in the off-world colonies! A chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure!" - Los Angeles, November, 2019

Both film companies and insurance companies are of the parasite class of organisms. They battled over the existence of the film Brainstorm. It is a tale of what is yet to come. Micheal Persinger's 'god helmet' illustrates this direction in 'public' science that the public has opportunity to know exists.

I drew a picture once that was inspired by the movie THX 1138. However, all the workers had a reality disconnect and had head gear on that was very similar with small computer screens over one eye that determined their every move. There was an upper class... (I drew this as an illustrated comic-like depiction of the future) a woman unplugged one of her servants, laughing as he became confused by his lack of direction.

It's strange indeed to see this actually manifesting. However, I feel the need to break up this potential future by using laughter.

Remember the moral of the story, everyone goes cross-eyed.

This is the next step in spying on the public and they are getting the sheeple to do it to themselves. Flytrap is putting it mildly. It's all part of the plan.

Also how is this going to go over with Law Enforcement? Will they take them from you as they currently do with phones and laptops maybe to return them someday? And what if you witness one of their crimes? You will be put on the kill list and the drone will be on it's way. Yes there can be benifits to us from this technology but since when have we seen the benifits? It will be used as another arm of the trap. Transhumanism. Once you go there you are theirs forever. They will have you waiting for the next upgrade because if you don't get it you are old technology and worthless. We are already referred to as the useless eaters and they profit from us daily. They will only have less respect for you as you allow yourself to be drawn into the trap. Then when someone comes along and gives you an upgrade you will belong to them. It does not look good from where I stand. I don't see a change of heart coming from these people anytime soon..

Until the End of the World is one of my favorite futuristic movies, and it features an invention that records everything a person sees, with the potential of recording dreams.
A device that records dreams would really be fun--dreams are so fascinating but for most of us, like will-o'-the-wisps, gone before we have a chance to recall them.

Until the End of the World 1991 R, 178 min.
Genre: Drama / Sci-Fi / Adventure
Director: Wim Wenders
Cast: Solveig Dommartin, William Hurt, Sam Neill, Max von Sydow, Rudiger Vogler, Jeanne Moreau, Chick Ortega, Lois Chiles, Adelle Lutz, Jean-Charles Dumay, Eddy Mitchell, Allen Garfield, David Gulpilil

As the world worries about a nuclear satellite crashing on Earth, Claire (Solveig Dommartin) has a car accident with bank robbers who then give her some of their heist to drop off in Paris. Along the way, Claire meets an American, Sam Farber (William Hurt), who is trying to elude the CIA. They hit it off until Sam steals some of the heist from Claire. Now Claire travels the world, through many countries, chasing Sam and ends up in Australia where Sam's father (Max von Sydow) has a laboratory in which he has invented a camera used by Sam on his trek. The camera will play back images that Sam's blind mother (Jeanne Moreau) can see. Even more important, the camera will allow dreams to be recorded. All this is accomplished while it is believed that a nuclear holocaust has taken place and presumably destroyed civilization.

I fully agree!

People are watched, monitorized and tracked day by day and they still think that this threat seems a fairy tale. No, is not!
The scariest part is: People don't even care !
Most people today need to be on facebook and have a lot of anonymous friends who put "I like" on everything including spread pics in servers all over the world.
Also, they need to buy useless tech just to make part of something "cool"
They have RFID printed in credit cards and passports, controlled mobile devices, cookies on browsers, facebook and social networks who sell all data about users (including the recognition software for pics posted), etc..
Domotic, electronic chips installed in your printer, computer,"for your safe" and controlled by software ready to run when you go online is only a tip of the iceberg.
In my work, i spend lot of time checking my firewalls, servers, traffic, log data, updates, what is running including who is online and what is doing. But its my job.
This scenario is very tiny if compared with large companies where this process (retrieve data and filtering) represents their survival on market.
Google, Microsoft, Apple, HP and other giants enterprises helps each other silently.
Most people cannot imagine what is going on in their own computers while typing a text or even surf on internet.
Forgive me if i'm extending my concern about all technology surrounding us but this chaos is real in our privacy.
They can, they do and we buy..
And they have a plan.
If you try to warn or just ask to pay more atention about these technics, the general opinion about you will be: A paranoic person with conspiracy theories, a crazy one or even dangerous.

Very scary but real

the archon's trans-humanist agenda at work again I see...no thanks! These technologies only perpetuate the idea that we need something outside of ourselves to "improve" our lives. Just like "smart" phone's, now everyone's staring at these little screen's instead of having first-person contact...
