It's so sad to see that still the vast majority of people in this country believe the tale of muslim terrorists and everything else they are told...

Last night my husband was watching some documentary on military channel and they were showing a group of young pilots on board on one those gigantic warships; the documentary was about training and all skills necessary to do the job.

Anyways, several officers were interviewed and all of them were saying things like: We need to be prepared because next time terrorists attack our country we will the defenders of freedom... or: pirates on the sea, terrorists in New York, anyone who is an enemy of the US will be killed... an many other pearls like this.

I was able to watch for about 10 minutes and I left.

All I'm saying is this: I don't believe for a moment that the military is going to be with the people in case TSHTF, they are so brainwashed that it's impossible for them to to see the truth.

Thanks for posting this graphic of “Bin Laden’s mountain fortress”, Cider. It’s actually an illustration of a typical American underground installation.

It first appeared in the media within days of 9-11. I thought at the time: Hmmm, that’s interesting. How come the CIA knows that much about this guy? Got his whole setup mapped out? And they still couldn’t infiltrate his inner group? No one could be that incompetent, surely….

But, of course, Bin Laden had no such thing; it was part of the “be afraid” hype, they-be-evil-terrorists-out-there spin. When some CIA artist was asked to conjure up a “mountain fortress” for the plotters, they used the model of what they knew: an American underground installation. Change the name and voila!, another fake.

Here’s some other views. Notice the accounting for a reliable water supply, ventilation, booby trapping, etc. (Of course, an actual installation is much more extensive, but this is useful.)
