Hi,

Personally I haven't put any thought into it, and have no plans to (my interests lie elsewhere); however, I do know of Jay Weidner and his deep interest into all things Kubrick, you'll find plenty of stuff on youtube if you search this string: "jay weidner kubrick's odyssey".

"Ancient Aliens" interceded in Earth's early evolution. (Instead of Flying Saucers in the Sky and finding Pyramids around the world, or like Stonehenge as Monoliths) ... All combining it as a (Black Door).

It is supposed to be the real ideas that "Ancient Aliens" interbred (Intelligence and Itself) into the Ancient Evolution of man from Apes. In the Movie, it was getting (Signals) from the (Black Door) ... (Also seeing how everything aligns itself to the Stars or Eclipses) The Apes learned how to Fight for its Dominance. Into our modern Time. It shows Science Investigations is a [ TOP SECRET CLASSIFIED ] direction for Elites and leaving the rest of the world in the (Unknown).

The Voyage to Jupiter was an Elite Secret to find out what is going on. Not letting others know what is going on. Hail the Computer got some extra (Insights) and (Paranoia) Knowing this mission was only for Government Control of Humanity. And (Hail?)? Felt he was being Ostracized by the Cover Up. Anyway (Hail) was trying to Stop the Mission by Killing the Crew, except for One Left.

The "Alien Monolith" could only take this last man (alive) into its "Own" Habitat within perhaps in within his own "Solipsism" For which brought him from a Primate Ancestry into going into more Luxurious Creatures for our advancing to a more Luxurious Beings.

Living in an Architectural Habitat in Luxury is now the Epitome of Mankind's Survival. What was Mankind's Gain for Living and Learning about the Universe? All in Reflection and Reminiscence as the Epiphany of getting from the Origins of Life to Now.

A monolith on a moon of Mars...? WTF.. Is there a way to check this statement? Have others been saying the same thing? Arthur Clarke.. @8:35 "Seek not to question other than, the books I leave behind." Thanks Jagman!

many sub-messages, but the large stroke
is the story of mankind, taking to it's ultimate evolution.
kubrick + nietzshe = man as god, protector.

This video is a little off topic but it shows how Stanley was always telling a story within a story.

Bill Cooper talked a lot about this film at the beginning of his 'Mystery Babylon' radio series. Transcribed in full here:http://archive.org/download/MysteryBabylonSeries-WilliamCoopertranscriptIncl/mystery_babylon_transcribed.pdf
It seems to be all about the ancient mystery schools and how they are all still active. Certainly Kubrick knew too much.

Is your television screen.
That is why during the original movie that was shown in the movie theaters, there was a long pause of silence before the movie showed images.
It was so the people watching the movie screen would see a large rectangular monolith.

Flip the monolith sideways and you will see it looks like the front of your television screen or computer monitor. :o
