I'm doing my part to get this out there. 3 more states and they'll have to do something about this. If you agree with this then help us make it go viral.

35 States So Far & Growing WE NEED 3 MORE

Hi! Here is an idea that has plenty of merit. Our Congressional representatives should have the same privileges as all of us. What is new about this idea is that right now 35 states have agreed with it. This means only 3 more states are required to get a Constitutional Convention together to end this elite-ism. We are very close to correcting this injustice. That's where you can help. Please read the enclosed message and if you feel it has merit send this on to everyone on your e-mail list. If the current momentum continues the vast majority of the country will know very shortly. We are very close and this is definitely doable.Hope we can rely on you to pass it on. READ DOWN

35 States So Far & Growing

SOUNDS LIKE WE'RE ON THE RIGHT PATH---FINALLY!

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you agree, please pass it on.
This is an idea that we should address.

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform that passed .. in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. We truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever . The self-serving must stop.

If each person that receives this will forward it on to just 15 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ..."

You are one of my 15 Please don't let us down.

a Con Con is a very dangerous thing,,, serious changes could be made, this shouldn't be approached lightly, however I approve of the idea of putting elected officals in the same status as citizens. (actually they should be even MORE restricted IMO..)

A Con Con requires an electorate that is awake, responsible, self determined, and fully empathic. So, organizing a Con Con to get rid of the elite without addressing the underlying problems of the sheeple fast asleep would be a disaster.

The Con Con works both ways. If is is usurped and taken over by the elite, it could totally put the final nail in the coffin of any semblance of an illusion of freedom.

Why not just take the bastards out and get rid of them, dismantle the Federal Reserve and go with non interest currency, and release free energy and see what happens?

It sounds great, but I'd like to know where the teeth for this idea are since this email has been circulating on the net since 2009 (if not before). Read what Snopes has to say about it here (28th Amendment (http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/28thamendment.asp)) and here (Governors of 35 States File Suit Against the Federal Government (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Governors_of_35_states_have_filed_suit_against_the_Federal_Government)).
