Interesting. I was just thinking about how in 2011, the Vatican, all of a sudden had so much bad publicity: prostitution in the Vatican choir, child abuse cases suddenly coming out of Wisconsin, Ireland, Germany, and banking scandals galore. Granted, all the info was true, BUT, why had the media decided to uncover this all at once?

Now it is 2013 in we have a Jesuit in the Vatican. The media tells us how in tune with our values he is, how enlightened he is and can more the church forward. The people who control the media seem to be quite happy with the Jesuit.
