War times mean propaganda wars.
Now Reddit bans RT.

http://rt.com/news/rt-reddit-ban-kremlin-261/

The reason RT.com was banned on Reddit’s /r/news section may not be spam or vote manipulation, as was stated officially, but “simply because it’s Kremlin.” This was revealed by a user from his discussion with one of the subreddit’s moderators.

RT.com was banned from /r/news this Thursday on accusations of “spam and vote manipulation”, with no evidence of the violations being presented by the moderators, who said that this information was only for “internal” use.

The move caused uproar among the reddit users as the drama was then taken to another subforum, /r/worldnews, where several things were eventually revealed.

Redditor BipolarBear0, who is listed as one of the moderators for the /r/news section, said that no “vote manipulation” ever took place, and that forum's leading moderator douglasmacarthur, who was behind the ban, made “an honest” mistake by making such announcement.

When another user asked him to clarify if the ban was explained by “just spam of RT.com links,” the moderator’s answer was: “Yeah.”

The RRN sent out a warning to their followers yesterday warning about Russia Today. Here were the comments

We caution you to be on guard for the Sovietization or the Russification of anything or anyone in the liberty or "anti-war" movement.

There's a reason you've been lured to RT.
There's a reason Putin is putting on a show for you.
There's a reason Snowden was invited to stay there.
There's a reason names have been collected by "alternative" media that "tells the truth about stuff".
There's a reason you're being agitated.

And that reason is to deliver a sucker punch right in the movement's face that it will never see coming.

Except now.

Put lots of distance between yourself and Russia, RT, Putin and anyone serving them up to you as something really cool that you really need to listen to.

Replace the distance with the US Constitution and the authentic version of America you wish and are working to see return.

They are getting a lot of heat for this but it is worth a thought, here is one of the responses to a unsubscriber.

The strategy and tactics being used by the Russians (Bolsheviks) against their opponents today DWARFS in size and scope the "Operation Trust" program of the 1920's that was used to infiltrate, trap and destroy the citizens, police and army of the pre-communist Russian republic. The wiki entry does an average job of describing it: "Operation Trust was a counterintelligence operation of the State Political Directorate (GPU) of the Soviet Union. The operation, which ran from 1921–1926, set up a fake anti-Bolshevik resistance organization, "Monarchist Union of Central Russia", in order to help the OGPU identify real monarchists and anti-Bolsheviks."

This banning is as much propaganda for the USA and the West as RT could be at times for Russia. If we do not have both sides at all time, we are doomed to FOX News and CNN, which are, in my own idea, worst propagandist than RT.

I do not know if Reddit is American, but if so, it only shows, once again, the one sided mind track of brain washed Americans. Nothing else. At least, if we have brainwashed American news, then brainwashed Russian ones, we have a chance to be able to understand where the truth may be, somewhat in the grey zones in between. Banning makes it one sided only and detrimental to analysing for getting the truth.

Technically, what this means is that every subscribed Avalonian runs the risk of ending up in one of the FEMA Gulags.
But I thought we all knew that already.
Maybe the 90% who watch their news on TV are outsmarting all of us, since they will live to tell the tale.

It's true that RT news is no better than any of them, but it is nice to have a variety of mainstream news sources. It's difficult to get honest news about Russia in RT, just the same as it's not likely to get honest news about Qatar from Al Jazeera, and likewise honest news of the US from CBS. In a way, they keep each other in check, however imperfectly.

This image is a case in point (http://imgur.com/a/9rDhZ). It was all taken at the same time. Notice the difference in news headlines?

Interesting isn't it? Syria is downplayed, second pages/articles, in all USA newspapers. This tells a lot: American, we will make it so that you do not resist the war. In Al Jazeera it is first page, no Wonder, they are the immediately killed or victims of such a war. RT is all against USA policies and Monsanto (which in this latter case seems good, imo). Brits seems to present the news, period (they are not always like this though, they do not present theirs properly either). Very intereting comparisons. Thanks S-L

Okay, so one mod who's still paranoid of commies is responsible.... so now they should just undo the ban and get on with it....

Howdy, I have a direct Satellite FEED, tunable able to be pointed to different FREE TV satellites of which for instance RT (russian TV) is available. Many other stations are encrypted and need cards to decrypt, but the point being is the majority of stations from around the world from their news sources (and lots of network feeds from the uplink stations in the field) are accessible.

http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Receivers/FTA_Free_to_Air_Receivers_Satellite.htm for instance is one company that makes stuff available, but this is not advertising them at all. They have GREAT free information on how to get news and feeds from all the immense amounts of geosynchronous satellites around the world. Absolutely fascinating actually getting data as best as you can from what they put up there.

Al Jazeera is a broadcaster owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network and headquartered in Doha, Qatar, and RT is funded by an international multilingual Russian-based television network. It is registered as an autonomous non-profit organization funded by the federal budget of Russia through the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. Each have their own agendas. Qatar is pro-USA due to oil revenue, but promotes itself to be pro-Arab/Muslim. RT is Putin's 'truther' machine, and to be honest - it does throw out stuff that our MSM hides. That is why it's important to check all alternative news sites - to get a balanced perspective. Or - switch off the tv and prep for whatever.... (you could be hiding for ages knowing nothing). You never know what is going to be thrown at you - so despite the TV - forewarned is forearmed. :-)

Its interesting that Al Jazeera "America" is now being broadcast by DirectTV Satellite (pay TV) on channel 358. It was not like the direct broadcast satellite (free TV satellite) broadcasts and it seemed very spun sanitized(?) It is nothing like what I was getting both in Lagos or Abu Dhabi. At one point DirecTV (pay satellite) had CNN international and that went away with a lot of international support to "sterilized TV", programmed mindset presentations a few Presidents back in the US.

I've had quite a few lively discussions about the psychology of the PSIOPS scenarios being presented to see what type of acceptance campaign is being pushed on the world. It kinda makes no sense that such has to be the way when there is so much oil, so much natural gas, potentials for free energy, ultimate healing, ability to desalinate salt water, abilities for farming in brackish swamps, abilities to harvest the seas, abilities to bloom the deserts.. Techwise we are so much past shortage, but somebody seems to think we all need control shortage and drama.. I just don't get it.
