Wish to thank the mods and Bill and show solidarity to our family and guests, despite some differences we are still just one Avalon, and wish to be more approachable especially the new members, welcome and to other old timers that for whatever reason never got to share an hello, this is a chance for me...:)

What a sweet post, Mojo.
This is what we need to be working on, creating loving bonds.
And this is what will make Avalon thrive, while others, which are merely for information exchange,
will struggle to keep going.
When I walk into a shop I can always tell by the demeanor of the staff what the top management is like.

A saying that I heard that I've adopted lately = it's nice to be important but, more important to be NICE ...

Many thanks for this! This is important.
About half of new members, after all the trouble of applying, never post again after saying Hi on the Welcome thread. (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/forumdisplay.php?61-Welcome-New-Members)
Some find the apparent complexity of the forum structure bewildering, while others appear to feel intimidated by the very high quality of posts and members. If we can all be as friendly, welcoming and encouraging as we possibly can, then everyone wins. Thank you again!

I once encountered someone who in 10 minutes told me clearly about something I'd seen on the forum, but which the elucidations were too complex to make head or tail in. I referred them to this site, and well I hope they have come. Quite a few niche areas here, and one only has foresight into a few

This is the only forum that I do, or will belong to, do to the very high calliber of its' membership. Bill has very elloquently raised the bar, far above the rest of the forums across the "Net".
As for new members, come, stay, enjoy, and you will raise YOUR bar, far above those of your friends and family. Do not be intimidated by any here, we are all just people, enjoying each others company in this thing we call "Life on Earth"!! chuckle chuckle.
And be sure keep thanking Bill for the privilege of this experience every chance you get. As in: "THANKS BILL"!!!!!

Subjective content should never be taking serious, but taken into consideration. There are no 2 people that will be wired the same way… even though many of us are tricked into thinking the same way. There are no standards (only false ones we choose to uphold), and there is no “one way” to do a particular thing. Respect and transparency leads to trust and unity, Approachability is easy once we all can find a safe way to be open minded. These days…having an open mind is like having an open wound; negative infections are bound to happen.
Peace
