They live!! Here is a vid of the Star Spangled Banner. Watch closely as the words change. There are hidden words in there, Subliminal.
Obey; Consume; Trust Government; Government God; I cannot attest to the originality of this vid. If someone knows where to get an original for comparison, that would be awesome.

I remember watching this movie as a kid too. Only because it had Roddy Piper in it and I was a wrestling fan, but the subliminal wasn't lost on me... :)

this movie is a great metaphor , it exposes the matrix for what it is , a system meant to control the public by images and single words woven into the fabric of our society ... I remember a time when there was No Mcdonalds sign, most people didn't have weight problems , no kids had ADD , No apple computers , No cell phones , No big oil commercials , TV had three channels , dinner was at the dinner table and everyone was present , and five dollars would last all weekend for whatever you did ...

John Carpenter never really got to make too many films.... after he did 'They Live'. john sorta got 'locked out' after he did that one.
He did manage to make a few good ones, more message films, after that. he did 'Prince of Darkness' and 'They Live', basically, back-to-back.
He managed to get out 'In The Mouth of Madness', and then...'village of the Damned', where Christopher Reeve ended up with the broken neck just after (one month) the film was released.
The universe does move that energy about, and these sort of things can happen. (Reeve being aged 43, close to his Uranus opposition). Sometimes the swirling, roiling intense energies that are brought into being... can result in a 'pressure release point', and in this case, Christopher's broken neck might be part of that 'expression'.
These sort of energies can also be intelligently 'moved about', which is what Doyle Noyes was doing, in the records of his situations.
Which brings us full circle back to -- Archons.

And you never thought you would look back at it as those good old days...
I miss those days...

Government..... from the Latin verb Guverno meaning "To Control"...... and mentis...... "The Mind"
