Hi Mojo. Believe it or not when I was a kid growing up we had the Lone Ranger and Tonto. His horse was called Silver. Clayton Moore once came to Edinburgh, Scotland and he appeared in the cinema with his horse would you believe. He must have brought it over by boat maybe. I have never heard of Rex, maybe he came after the Lone Ranger, I don't know. American culture is surely a part of Scottish culture as Television reached out into the rest of the world. Kids in Scotland in the 1950,s were playing cowboys and Indians in the streets, parks and homes as was I. My heroes as a child were not Rob Roy McGregor or William Wallace they were The Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, Superman. I guess I go further back than you dear Mojo.
The good old days indeed.
