View Full Version : MARS-Hundreds of FACES-CREATURES-Opinions??

I ran across this YT video. This person has reverse tweaked the footage to analyze the terrain. And there are creatures and faces everywhere(not live but carved/etched/lazered??). At first, I thought he was just seeing what he wanted to see, but further into the video, it is undeniable.

My question is, has he CG'd this, as a hoax, or could he be onto something. I know its kind of long, but worth the watch IMO. Very very strange.

I saw faces and creatures that he didn't see or maybe i was seeing stuff that wasn't there.
I agree that the small green square is a building.
I thought maybe the bird on the lower left might be a fossilized bones of a bird, but if so that is a huge, huge bird.
His presentation left me with the impression that Mars was like a planet sized coloring book with all the colored animals.
Cool vid, i enjoyed it.

I always thought that the location of the monolith on Phobos looked like a person:

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/08/04/article-1204254-05F30086000005DC-189_634x479.jpg

The circled part (to indicate where the monolith is located), appeared to me to be the face's eye. Follow to the right and you can make out the nose and mouth.

Then my girlfriend pointed out that what I thought was the nose looks more like a nipple on a figure's chest.

I'm probably seeing things too, but sometimes it's fun to look and imagine ... :)

Hehe, rather neat! But these are rather heavily processed images, not good representations of what the landscape actually looks like. But neat nonetheless.

Better than seeing images in clouds! (but similar -- Pareidolia)? ;)

Now the images that seem to portray dead dragon trees on Mars but 100x larger -- those are some fascinating images ...

Very interesting. I saw a video someone else did a few months ago which showed large groups of dome structures on Mars. Then, a day or so later I read in one of Dolores Cannon's Convoluted Universe books that someone told her that Mars was inhabited, but people lived underground with domes over them as the surface was too inhospitable. That was a weird coincidence.

It gets REALLY interesting at about the 18/19 minute mark and on. I agree, my first thought was pareidolia. But IMO, there are just TOO many. The man sounds sincere to me. I just don't see how him tweaking with the details could come up with all of this art. It is fascinating. And I am almost leaning toward the idea of interdimentionals being picked up. Obviously they have some very high definition cameras that could pick up such things.

Here's part 2.

Folks -

Please stop being taken in by this stuff.

What you're looking at is a highly processed photoshop image. That ISN'T the same thing as looking at an original landscape. Far from it.

What photo enhancing's good for is - if you see something definite on the original image - improving some aspects of the definition. I'm not saying there isn't interesting stuff on Mars. I'm actually a fan of the idea that it might once have been colonised. But this type of stuff is just pure indulgence.

Go back to the originals. Download them yourselves from the NASA websites. If you see something on there (and I mean something unambiguously unnatural, not a bunch of "might-be-an-eye, "might-be-a-rock" blurry, runny colours) then investigate further.

Do you know why this guy picks reptiles ? Because they have camouflaged skin - i.e. they are actually designed to fade into the background. A reptiles skin is supposed to look like a rocky background so it's not surprising that the reverse is also the case. The crocodile is nice - but you get those all over the place on Earth in random formations. Here's a few for a start:

I knew before opening the YT link that this was a video courtesy of Peternell. Now I don't remember verbatim the details of my findings but this guy is....let's say, off! Years ago I conducted a rudimentary investigation behind this person and if my memory serves me correctly, he claims his brother works for NASA and/or is a scientist which afforded him to obtain these photos/videos. Something like that. This Peternell person also goes (or went) by other user-names as well on other forums (in which he's been banned)
But putting all that inconclusive quasi-information aside for a moment, he points out enigmatic shapes in every photo as if it were a bowl of alphabet soup and the noodles formed random shapes.
If it weren't so pathetically annoying it would be funny but Mr Peternell, in my opinion, is either a dis-informant or deeply delusional.

I realize this is highly photoshopped, but if you watched the entire video, you have to admit, that there is something to it. Science and conspiracy aside, it is rather extraordinary to look at.

You can't know that until seeing the actual landscapes closeup.

Italy looks like boot from far away, but close up it doesn't. All I'm saying is, there's not remotely enough information in these pictures to conclude anything. Also, they look to me like they're full of blur and smudge tool usage.

These "reptiles" are 90% imagination and 10% suggestion.

THey are not all reptiles. But aside from that, at the very least, its an interesting art form. There are just way too many, maybe not everyone sees it, some of the stuff he pointed out I didn't see anything but blur and smudge, but after the 18 minutes mark where the stuff is just everywhere, its either SOMETHING, or someone artfully computer generated it, which apparently would have taken a substantial amount of time an skill.

Actually he said the photos are publicily available and gave the links. What forums has he been banned from, and for what?[COLOR="red"]

Whether these are made public or not he made claim that his brother is associated with NASA (or a scientist with someone else. I forget....) and that's how he either came to these conclusions or how he obtained (some of?) the photos.

In the forum that he was banned (ATS) he masqueraded as his brother or as a colleague of his brother (or something like that) and a quick ISP search showed it was the same person with the same dialect/verbiage/mis-spelled words etc.

Grant it, I admit my memory is sketchy at best because this happened a few years ago but I do remember the results and that was: Rob Peternell was debunked as a dis-informant or a complete loony or....both.

But like anything else, you're free to draw your own conclusions and I also realize.... just because someone is banned from another forum doesn't mean he's a proven hoaxer. It just means he isn't welcomed there for some reason. But to me, he's a bit creepy in his presentation, conclusions and claims.

The truth is that there is so much secrecy with regards to NASA, that to me it would not be all that far fetched to find that Mars is indeed inhabited. Which has nothing to do with there being creatures all over this footage. I am wondering if there is a Photoshop program, that will take a photo and create this type of scenery. That to me would make more sense than anything, You tell the computer to make a creature out of every shadow and highlight? Because to do this manually would take a lot of time, which some people do have I suppose,, but Is there such a program I wonder. I am not a computer nerd obviously or I wouldn't even have to ask. LOL

Last night i went to google mars (link) (http://www.google.com/mars/) and I was surprised to find something like smudging or blurring when i zoomed in close. I don't know if it was my computer or what, but it was interesting nonetheless.
Those things that make you go, hmmm...
