UPDATE: Digital imaging expert, Ross Davidson, thinks he has the answer (see below).

In amongst the random, crater strewn landscape of the Moon, it certainly stands
out.Something that appears to be a triangular object with seven dots perfectly
aligned in a triangle has been spotted on Google Moon.

But what is it? It's roughly 125 by 90 metres in size.

The person that spotted it, YouTube user WowForReeel, asks: "Is is just a weird
looking crater? or is it something else?

"It is really there, not faked and I have no clue what it is. I found nothing else like
it in any of the other craters."

The website Tech and Gadget News describes it as much to regular to be a normal
crater.

They said: "[It} is too symmetrical to be a random, topographical structure caused
by even the minimal erosion typical of the lunar landscape.

"The gigantic shape actually looks like the leading edge of an immense, triangular
space ship, similar to, so far, super secret Stealth aircraft technology, but is much
larger than any airplane ever built on Earth."

space ship, similar to, so far, super secret Stealth aircraft technology, but is much
larger than any airplane ever built on Earth.

The regularly spaced, circular promontory shapes which make up the seven points
on the perfectly formed triangle wedge seem to be intelligently designed.

To date, no other feature has ever been discovered which matches this shape on
the Moon, or any other planet observed by satellite or exploratory rover.

The anomaly is so huge, it’s possible it is some sort of moon base used as a facility
for storing and launching alien “UFO” spacecraft.

But, if this highly irregular feature of the moonscape is proven to be engineered by
intelligent minds, is it possible it could be some kind of secret area built by humans?

The anomaly was discovered by laboriously poring over the images of the Moon
compiled by the Google Earth software platform. Its coordinates are 22°42’38.46″N
142°34’44.52″E for anyone who wants to investigate this strange, triangular
feature for themselves.

A picture of the “UFO” moon base has been enlarged and enhanced above, with the
full video embedded below.

Whatever this fascinating object is, it certainly bears further investigation, as this
kind of perfectly symmetrical geographical feature is rarely found in nature, even
on Earth itself.

THE GOOGLE MOON VIEWER


Google Moon works in a similar way to Google Earth. It was launched in 2009 on
the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing.The landing site of each of the
Apollo missions is shown on the satellite image, providing more information on each
mission as the user zooms in.The first version of Google Moon only included low-
resolution satellite imagery of the entire moon, and when zoomed in too close, a
Swiss cheese pattern would appear.

Tricks of light in space photography have led to a number of excited reports about
alien life in our solar system.

In November, paranormal researchers found what they believed to be evidence of
a fossilised iguana on the surface of Mars. The mysterious object was spotted by
UFO Sightings Daily who uncovered the photograph in Nasa’s archives.

‘This is not the first animal found on Mars, actually there have been about 10-15 to
date,’ Mr Warring told news site agoracosmopolitan.com.

‘I even found a rock that moved four times in four photos...then vanished on the
fifth.’

All you need to know about the famous black triangle craft. I have seen it myself
close up. It looked exactly like in this video at the Illinois police sitings. I was living
in Booneville, MS. It floated over my house. Scared my mother to death, but I
knew what it was, had heard about it on Art Bell's radio program. The craft was
larger than a football field, silent, white lights at the 3 wing tips, a large red globe
bottom center, It had a grid of multicolored strobing lights that flashed from left to
right across the back. It moved at about 45 mph, floated silently over my head
across the yard, I chased behind it and waved for it to come back. It did not look
alien, it looked military to me.

Black triangles are a class of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, with certain
common features which have reportedly been observed during the 20th and 21st
centuries. Media reports of black triangles originally came from the United States
and United Kingdom.

Dupo, Lebanon, Summerfield, Millstadt, and O'Fallon, Illinois, beginning shortly
after 4:00 am. Five on-duty Illinois police officers in separate locales, along with
various other witnesses, sighted and reported a massive, silent, triangular aircraft
operating at an unusual range of near-hover to incredible high speed at treetop
altitudes. The incident was examined in an ABC Special "Seeing is Believing" by
Peter Jennings, an hour-long special "UFOs Over Illinois", produced by Discovery
Channel, a Sci Fi Channel special entitled "Proof Positive" as well as a 28 minute
independent documentary titled "The Edge of Reality: Illinois UFO, January 5,
